Description of Work: Full Exterior including sliding door set on back patio, front door, side garage door, roll up garage door, patio underside, all facials and trim. |I recently did a full renovation of my exterior including new roof with new facials all the way around, and all new back patio. I worked with Joey from KOTP from the start. He came highly recommended from several contractors and after our initial consultation, I was so impressed with his approach to color coordinating and his huge portfolio of other job results that I gave him full reins of the color pallatte for the entire project. He choose the shingle color, the stucco colt and of course the paint colors. After all the things I had heard about KOTP and speaking with Joey, I had high expectations, but I never could have expected the results that I got. It looks AWESOME. There prep and cleanup was superb. They weren't even gone a day and Joey was back to check up and see if there were any issues or discrepancies. I had only one thing to point out, but after Joey did a complete walk around of my house he himself had noted three other things that were not to his satisfaction. One of his crew returned the next day and promptly took care of all issues that were discussed. You get what you pay for has always been the motto. You'll get way more than that with KOTP.

Description of Work: Everything except the prepwork went very well. The crew did not spend enough time scraping off peeling paint, so numerous touchups had to be done later on at my request. Other than that, they are very professional, clean and did a very detailed fine paintjob. I really appreciated the help with choosing the paint color scheme.

 + 0 moreConsidering that the gazebo had not been stained for more than four years, and was heavily mildewed, the power wash and staining were done well. The gazebo looks very nice, and only minor areas where they had not been very careful to ensure over run. The only complaint I had was that the workers had allowed plastic to sit on the lawn throughout a warm day, and two large areas of the lawn were burnt. The two areas are very visual, and I was disappointed that no one said anything, or even offered up an apology.
Description of Work: Company power washed and stained a 10' X 14' outside gazebo.

 + -1 moreOn day one the 6-month old concrete surface was swept and chemically etched. The next day a clear sealer was applied. On the 3rd day the colored base coat was rolled on and tiny chips in a mixture of several colors were broadcast by hand over the wet surface. (Mike made a custom color-chip blend to achieve the "look" I wanted.) Several days later a clear top coat was applied. As a couple of small areas were missed and some of the chips were not completed covered, a second top coat was applied. Mike and his assistant arrived promptly at the designated time each day and worked efficiently and cheerfully. They worked well with me to achieve a very satisfactory result.
Description of Work: A Rustoleum 3-part epoxy coating was applied to my concrete garage floor.

 + 0 moreThe only complaint I would consider to express, is that the work was performed about two months ago and it is still a little sticky. I would have thought that it wouldn't be sticky by now. They really did a good job overall.
Description of Work: They did an exterior job for me. They painted a deck maybe 30 x 10 feet. They did the prep work one day and did the work the next day. They pressure washed it for me before the actual painting and did a very good job.

 + -1 moreIt was a very stressful experience. They did not tell me when they were coming out, so I was not there part of the day they did the work, due an appointment. I spoke with another painter, and he said that the back of the home was not primed. The work was terrible. They told me that they weren't going to stain the back of the fascia board, even though that's what they were supposed to do. I had to stop the job, they were doing it so poorly. I sent the check certified mail, so that I would get a return receipt. They later put a lien on my property for the payment I'd sent. The painter was rude, and inconsiderate of my home. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Description of Work: They painted the fascia board. They were supposed to prime, paint and stain it, but they didn't do all of the priming and painting on the back of the house. They also skipped all of the other prep work, like the scraping and filling of the holes. They didn't even cover up the floors! They got paint on the cement and the patio.

 + -1 moreThe job was started ahead of the scheduled time, all work was done in a timely manner. At the end of each day the job site was cleaned up and all tools were put away. There ws a good deal of prep work that had to be done as the house had not been painted in about 20 years. This work was done neatly. The job involved two structures, with some hard to get to places. The end product exceeded my expectations.
Description of Work: The house was prepped, damaged wood repaired and repairs were made on the plaster where it was needed. The stucco wa painted, this was a different color from the original color. The eves and the fascia was also painted. Clean up was completed at the end of the job.

Description of Work: My neighbors cannot believe the transformation of my 96 year old craftsman home. The paint was in awful shape and the siding was torn up from perimeter foundation repair. I felt good about this company from my first meeting. They described exactly what they would do to restore my baby to glory and they did not disappoint. The preparation was extraordinary, the foreman, Victor, offered advice that was always right on, the crew was friendly and hard working. And, when they offered to give me carpenter services at time and material, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Jason was incredible. They aren't the cheapest, but they are worth every penny. I was so happy with the work of this company that I'm planning to have them work on my interior next. I am SO HAPPY!!

THEY ALSO PAINT MANY HOUSES IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD, AND THEIR WORK IS SO SUPERIOR TO OTHER COMPANIES "THEIR" HOUSES STAND OUT. PER MY EMAIL TO MR. LYONS CONCERNING COLOR CHOICES HE RETURNED, AND SPENT QUITE A BIT OF TIME WITH ME CREATING A COLOR DESIGN, AND SCHEME FOR THE HOUSE. ALSO, REFERRED ME TO A HIGHLY REPUTABLE GUTTER INSTALLATION COMPANY.
