I have been using Sims for a number of years to care for my trees. The trees are critical to giving us privacy from a school yard and street. Robin has been my go to person throughout and we have had excellent results with everything she has done. I see using Sims as an excellent investment in our property.

SIMs is truly a magical tree service. The arborist that came out to my home has a professional arborist certificate. He was kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My issue is Tortoise Beetle larva falling from eucalyptus trees and the live larva in the trees eating all the new growth leaves and popping all over my back patio. The treatment worked on my trees within 36 hours. After 3 weeks of sweeping and cleaning the back very morning from about 100 larva and poop galore, I have my back patio back! My neighbors who also felt the effects of the tortoise beetle are very pleased with the results. No more mess. I’m continuing the every 6 months of maintence to deter the pests from coming back to my trees. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Description of Work: They sent a specialist to advise me about a pine tree (40-50 feet tall) that had about 10 feet of dead on the top. They diagnosed the problem as bark beetles and sprayed to try to protect from further damage. They recommended a tree service (George and David) to cut off the dead portion, which work was done for a very good price. The specialist then advised me on the care of many other trees on my property.

Description of Work: We had a young man come and evaluate our 11 trees. He spent more than an hour here,looking and evaluating and giving his opinion on what we might need to manage our trees. |The appointment was very informational and we got what we needed; an evaluation on our trees and how to care for them. |I gave them a "B" rating due to the fact that I felt the young man that came was not as "expereinced" (he had just graduated) as I had hoped. I guess I value expereince over age, overall I was pleased.

Description of Work: The expert came out and injected special fertilizers for my citrus trees. He said if they were going to respond, they would do so in two months. They did not respond, so I think I had let them get too far gone. I will call Sims earlier next time. They have very good people on their phones and they do good follow up

+ -1 moreTHE STAFF WAS VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY EXPLAINED WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE TREES AND WHAT HAD TO BE DONE TO TRY AND SAVE THEM. THEY RECOMMENDED THINGS THAT I COULD DO AND WHAT THEY COULD DO.
Description of Work: THEY HAD TO DETERMINE WHAT WAS WRONG WITH OUR CYPRESS TREES AND IF THEY COULD BE TREATED FOR THE PROBLEM. THEY DIAGNOSED THE DISEASE AND RECOMMENDED TREATMENT. THEY TREATED THE TREES WITH NUTRIENTS AND MEDICINE.
