Description of Work: The H&C ad did not make it obvious that a limited number of square feet would be allowed. I believe the ad talked to 3 rooms in large letters and did not make it obvious there was a square foot limit. When the men came to explain the square foott limits I protested and showed them the paid invoice which was paid in advance and had nothing on it that addressed the square foot limits. The service man called his boss and explained the situation. The boss approved the 3 room cleaning even though it was over the square foot limits. We did pay an extra $10 for a some streps that were cleaned. The work performed was very good and the men were very professional. I realize that this "special" was meant to attract new customers, however we would not use this service again as the regular prices are much more expensive then our regular carpet cleaner.

Description of Work: Company was very pleasant on the phone when making my appointment. Carpet cleaner arrived just 20 minutes into the 2 hour appointment window. He was very professional, pleasant, and personable. He worked efficiently, moving some items of furniture. Others my husband and I helped to move, basically to make ourselves useful, and make sure the job was done as quickly as possible. We have a white Berber carpet that we have never much liked. It mats down and shows dirt easily. I've never had a carpet company able to really get this carpet clean. This was one of the best jobs, but the stairs after just one week are looking grungy again. And worse, the dark areas around various pieces of furniture never did look really clean. I think with this company you are paying more for the green technology, and their professionalism. For our 400 dollars we had our smallish living room, 4 bedrooms, master bedroom walk-in closet, stairs, and landing area cleaned.

Description of Work: Eric and crew did an amazing job on cleaning and polishing our tile and wood floors. The came on 2 separate days as scheduled and performed the cleaning as requested. I would use them again.

Description of Work: The carpet cleaning done for us in our house by Haines and Cross was excellent. We were contacted to arrange a time to clean, and the details were clearly explained. The technician called before he came to confirm the time, and he was pleasant to have in our home. The cleaning was done efficiently and completely. We were pleased with the cleaning job and the detail given in the service. We would definitely use them again and refer anyone else to them.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal on angies list, which only covered part of the house, so it was a little more than I had anticipated. However, the technician arrived on time, and did a great job. It has been over a month, and the spots that usually come back have not come back. I am planning on using them for my parent's home in Long Beach, and will continue to use them for my home.

Description of Work: He has cleaned the carpets in my home. He has cleaned some of my Persian rugs. He has done fine on all counts. I first asked him to do something to the rugs. When I called him he told me it would lower the value of the carpet. He talked himself out of a higher fee because he valued the rugs. He is motivated by more than just money.

Description of Work: This company is amazing in all aspects. In a time when service seems to mean little, this company stands out as one who exemplifies good old fashioned service. In this instance, they went above and beyond the call of duty. We'd had them clean our area rug and furniture and were so impressed. When we had the recent flooding we could not find a flood restoration service to come to our aid. We were told that we were about 40th on the list, meaning we'd have to wait a week for assistance. I called Haines & Cross, thinking that they could advise us as to what to do with the carpets in the meantime and they were there in fifteen minutes. They pulled up our carpets and tore out the soaked padding in our living room and master bedroom and set up fans and sprayed mildewcide. They came back frequently to check on the condition of the carpets and, when all was dry after several days, they ordered new padding, repaired our carpeting, and cleaned it...it looked as good as the day that we had it installed! We were so happy particularly since we'd had a HORRIBLE experience with a well-known flood restoration company years before.
