I never submit a review until I had a chance to use a service or product. So this review is about 5-6 weeks after the install First the good: The technician/installers did a great job! Their quote was competitive. Scheduling was easy. To that end, they do very well. Second, the not so good: I was charged an extra eight hundred and fifty dollars for them to pull the city permits. From what I understand, this is a lengthy process. In the meantime, I had to get a new water heater installed. They quoted me thirty dollars to pull the city permit and told me they would submit the request and that I would be contacted to schedule an inspector to approve the install and that it was done according to the building codes. That is when I realized that GQ Heating and Air overcharged me by eight hundred and twenty dollars after confirming this with the city inspectors office. I am still figuring out what to do about this. Also, as part of the bad, I sent several emails to them in the last 2 days asking for an update on the city permit and when the inspector will be coming out. As of this review, I have not heard back. Bottom line is that the install was very good quality, the price was in the middle of the pack so it was competitive. If you need permits pulled, I would not pay them the eight hundred and fifty, but I would pay the thirty. And if you need to follow up with them, do not email them and expect an answer right away. It would probably be better to call them. I would have called them, but I am too busy at work during the hours they are open.

The guy that came to my home, smarted off, and called me a stupid b****h and called the police to my home because he left his ladder. I complained to the company, not sure anything was done. Felt like they were trying to pull a fast one on me. They did not like it because I was asking questions related to the cost of doing the job.

Our original sales contact Christian, was very professional and courteous. He was also very friendly and explained the program so that all was clear. Technicians were friendly and professional as well..they worked very hard and did not stop until the job was done. Explained how unit works. A good experience. I would recommend them to my neighbors or anyone needing AC install. They were very good. Also they were careful not to let my cats out..

Accolades of sincere appreciation for this company I would highly recommend them. Owner Ray is so kind and really goes the extra mile to make sure that the project is completed with excellent professional detail. His workers are excellent well trained and honest hard working men. Also very nice people, kind and always polite. My project was very complicated due to previous contractor errors with the ducting that failed in my home. Project included installing a new furnace plus replacing most of the duct work.

Fast and efficient

The technicians were very knowledgeable and professional, but it still took 2 service calls to fix the problem. It was admittedly a subtle problem, but I think it should have been fixed the first time. Their was no charge for the second visit.
