They did come out promptly after I called and asked for an Estimate. He gave me a good price ( more than my previous tree person) but reasonable and since my last tree trimming had been a few years I was Ok with the increased amount. He even came down $50 after I asked. He told me they were very busy this was on Oct. 31st. But that he could do it before Thanksgiving. I said that was fine. He said he'd call. He never did. not only me, but also my mother whom I sent him down to see living only a few blocks away. Neither of us called him back because we were not in that much of a hurry; so we just waited. Then a week ago we both decided that we really need to take care of the trees; so we contacted two of the companies we'd gotten flyers for and one of them worked out to cost the same amount as Timberland; so we scheduled an appt with him. I am guessing that these were both pretty small jobs in his scope of work and didn't want to bother with them. But if that was the case all he needed to do is let us know that. We'd of rather him be honest with us then to go waiting for months. Yes, we could have called him but why should we? He had our numbers; he'd given us both written proposals; but never followed through.

I have used their services a couple of times. They were very efficient. They cleaned up after themselves. One of their men came and inspected the job and gave me an estimate. They came on time and started on the work after that. It was quite a difficult job. They did a great job. The tree that we asked him to trim was planted by my grandfather and was really old. The person who came to do the work for us suggested the best time and way to cut it. That made me feel that he knew a lot about trees. I would use their services in the future also.

Representative followed up with follow up call promptly, was honest and professional about inability to provide service.

The prices and efficiency were great. They did a really good job. He is very personable and it was a pleasure.

. .I CALLED TIMBERLAND TREE COMPANY FOR AN ESTIMATION REGARDING MY THREE LARGE TREES. I SPOKE WITH MICHAEL AND HE CAME OUT AND GAVE ME A ESTIMATION ON JAN 13, 2012.THE AMOUNT WAS SO REASONABLE THAT I ADDED EVERTHING THAT I WANTED DONE TO THE BACK YARD AND THE FRONT YARD. HE LEFT AND SAID THAT HE WOULD CALL ME BACK INORDER TO SCHEDULE ME IN. HE CALLED BACK AND THE WORK WAS SCHEDULED FOR JAN. 23, 2012. HE CALLED ON THE 23RD AND HAD TO CANCEL DUE TO RAIN. HE CALLED BACK ON THE 24TH AND WAS ABLE TO COME APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR AND A HALF LATER. THEY WERE FINISHED BEFORE NOON AND THE YARD, BOTH FRONT AND BACK WERE PERFECTLY CLEAN. I WAS KEPT INFORMED OF THE PROGRESS. I WAS ALSO GIVEN A 5% DISCOUNT FOR ANGIE'S LIST MEMBERS. THAT WAS GREAT. THE COMPANY WAS EFFICIENT, PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL . I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN TREE SERVICES. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THEY HAVE A CHIPPER AND BRING IT TO THE JOB.

They came in with a crew of 8 guys and did all of the work in one day, the owner even came in and made sure everything was done well. The only downside is that I had to call them a couple of times, because they are very busy. Overall, they are very good.

The city red-tagged the whole building in the middle of the night and I had to put my tenants up at a hotel. I called Timberland at 6:45 the following morning and Tim answered the phone. Within half and hour he was at the property to give me a bid. A few hours later he had 8 guys and three trucks there to solve my problem.I was very appreciative of his prompt response because trees were down all over town and tree services were busy. Also rain was expected and I wanted to get the tree gone ASAP so I could get busy working on the roof. Lastly I had to get the red tags off in a hurry so my tenants could get back in.

The job was accomplished very professionally and efficiently from start to finish. Tim Olmstead provided a detailed estimate and stuck to it. The tree trimming team arrived on time and accomplished their mission within approximately four hours. Olmstead supervised the entire operation, making sure that I agreed to the tasks and was satisfied with the results. The trees and yard were left in great shape.

These guys are the best! Tim is super responsive to come over for bids and those bids are the same year after year. I've been using them for 6 years. The team that comes to the house to do the work is super professional and follow the request to the letter. They leave the yard cleaner than when they started.Thanks a ton.

Since a severe storm was predicted, we needed to have this tree removed ASAP. I spoke to their representative on Monday morning, and he said that they would probably be able to get to it in the afternoon. Their bid was competative with another Angie's List company, but that firm couldn't do it until later in the week. So I said to go ahead. When I got home, not only was the tree gone, it was not possible to see where the tree had been. Just dirt flat to ground. Extremely fine work, and I'd use them again without question.

Michael, project foreman, toured the yard and made recommendations on how best to trim and thin our trees He wrote a bid at the end of the tour. We accepted and scheduled the project for the following week. The crew showed up exactly on time in uniform. MIchael was on hand during the entire project and consulted with my wife and I on the progress of various parts of the yard. We were confident that the job was in good hands and Timberland didn't disappoint.

We bought a house a few months ago and inherited various diseased trees, some invasive species of trees, and also some badly located trees that were doing poorly. In addition to the trees we had many out of control rose bushes and other plants that needed care. So I called Timberland on a Thursday and Tim came by the next day (on time). We went through the yard and talked about what needed to be done. Unfortunately, as I suspected, much of it had to go. There was one tree that was in good enough health and placement to save, so we agreed it would just be trimmed up. Tim suggested we cut back all the rose bushes, take out various old overgrown plants around the yard and trim up various others. The estimate for all of this work seemed perfectly reasonable to someone who has never had to deal with this type of work as a first time home owner. I got the sense we were in good hands. They came the following week while we were at work as agreed. There was a large crew (from what my neighbors told me) and they worked swiftly to remove all the old trees and stumps. They did everything they said they would do and even did a few extras (with our approval) at the last minute. They did not alter the invoice based on any of those additional things either which was nice. I decided not to use the 5% coupon they offered because of that. I felt they deserved the full amount for the work they did. They did an amazing job of working around the things we had in our yard (we had moved everything out of the way for them as much as we could). The clean up job was thorough and satisfactory. Of course we were blown away by the change to our yard, but now that we have a better base to work with we can start to work on creating an outdoor space that will be healthy.

They did a beautiful job taking that tree out. They trimmed another tree I have on the curb strip. They also trimmed a Camellia for me. They were very neat, clean, and efficient.

I called and Tim (the owner) came over the same day to give me a quote. The crew arrived at the agreed upon time. They got right to the job. They trimmed the tree of unnecessary limbs and generally pruned the tree. They didn't just remove the limb, they pruned it with an eye to the beauty of the tree. They hauled away the tree and cleaned up before they left. The crew was very efficient and courteous. I was very impressed and pleased with the job. I will definitely use Timberland again! They did an excellent job of trimming a pine tree in the front yard. They had about 6 people do the job in about an hour. I think the price was very reasonable (compared with another company I got an estimate from). I can recommend them highly.

They were extremely professional. The job was done quickly and my yard was left clean. I am recommending them to friends and neighbors and will hire them again.

How did it go overall? Flawlessly ... I wasn't at home when the work was completed but Tim called to let me know they were finished. When I arrived home, I was amazed. If you need tree trimming, give him a call. By the way, he is not pushy, simply professional.

Called on a Friday and David provided an estimate to me the following Monday morning. That afternoon a crew of at least six performed the work in about two and a half hours. They had their own chipper and cleaned up everything very nicely. David consulted with me on trimming vs removing the star pine and I decided on the former...much to my relief. Very pleased with the work.

They were prompt and very professional. Arrived on time. Trimmed the two trees and remove the third tree in a timely fashion. I would gladly use them again.

Use these guys!!!! They are great. Friendly, professional, prompt, clean, and fair prices. They did a beautiful job trimming, thinning and shaping the HUGE Jacaranda Tree in my front yard. I will definitely use them again.

Timberland arrived promptly on time. Michael did a great job supervising the job and explained everything in detail. They were efficient and completed this large job within 2 and a half hours. They cleaned up nicely after they were done. All team members were courteous and efficient. They damaged an under the ground sprinkler pipe, but when I notified Michael, he immediately sent someone to repair it at no cost to us. I would definitely call them again and highly recommend them

Tim (owner) came out the day after I initally called and provided a quote & we agreed on date/time for work. They were a bit early for the appointment, but not a problem. Tim was there with his crew. All work done very quickly and to my satisfaction. Great cleanup. I will definitely use Timberland in the future for tree trimming.

They came out right away. They gave me an estimate and it was lower than other estimates that I had. They were local and it was going to rain that afternoon; so they came out and did it the very next day. They did it very quickly. I had to be at work that day and they did it while I was gone. When we came back, everything was what we had asked for. They did a great job and they did a real good cleanup afterwards. They were great. I can?t recommend them higher. They did everything we wanted and more. They were reasonable.

The crew was very professional and efficient. Everyone seemed to know what needed to be done and worked as a team getting the trimming and clean-up done without any problems.
