It went great! The crew arrived on time and trimmed a huge pine tree and removed a large tree and one small citrus tree and hauled it all away. They did a great job!

We got three estimates for having seven tees trimmed in Venice. Tim came out within 24 hours,l for the estimate and gave the most affordable price of the three. He and his crew arrived on time and completed the job beautifully. They will be our new go to tree service. Very grateful to have them in the area.

We're able to start and complete job three days ahead of schedule. Work completed, clean up too, in about four hours.

Great! I could not have asked for a better service. The price was fair and they arrived when scheduled and got right to work. They finished far sooner than I expected. They way the crew worked together, it was a first class event. All that remained was some saw dust and that is a-o-k with me!

The crew showed up early and go right to work. I have two large trees that were causing problems (dropped limbs, lots of leaves and worst of all threatening the house with branches). They trimmed several trees for us as well as took out a ficus that was over 20 feet tall. They were prompt, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. They were the best price out of all of the quotes, plus they are local to Hermosa Beach. I would highly recommend this company.

When I called to request an estimate, I was able to get it the same day. I was told that there would be a two week lead time to schedule the work. When I decided to proceed I called, they were able to do it the same day. This is a 40+ foot tree that had not been trimmed in a long time. They had the job done in about two hours. As the work was being done by five guys, more workers arrived to help out. The entire job was supervised by the person who had provided the estimate. Clean up was excellent for both me and my affected neighbors.

Timberland came in with the lowest bid, but more importantly, they promised that I would be pleased with the outcome. Needless to say, based on the remarks from the competitor, I was skeptical. To my delight, the work by Timberland more than exceeded my expectations! The tree looked beautiful!! Actually, better than ever! Further, they cleaned all the leaves and branches off the roof and around the property. They did an awesome job! I will be contacting them again for all my tree trimming work on both my properties and will highly recommend them to others.

Mike, from Timberland, came out to provide an estimate for removing two trees in our front yard. He was right on time for the appointment and was very personable and polite. He was quite knowledgeable about the trees, in that he was aware of the types of trees we have, the root structure, what's required to remove them. He also commented on another tree and was full of information. I was very impressed with Mike. We 'hired' him to do the job, but we will have to schedule it to come in the next few months as our HOA has another project before this. Mike gave me a written estimate before he left. I don't remember WHO is the arborist in this company (he? or his dad?) but they are quite knowledgeable and I feel very confident in him. He was quite alright with the rescheduling into the future. A very easy person to deal with.

Mike was prompt for our estimate appt. and answered all the questions we had. One fruit tree seemed diseased and he recommended it be removed which we totally agreed with. He gave us a written estimate on the spot and advised to call the office for scheduling whenever we were ready. After getting a few more estimates, their pricing was on the higher side but we were impressed with Mike's knowledge and professionalism that we decided to give them a try. Mike and his crew came out on-time and finished the job so fast that I barely had enough time to go out and get coffee. Other than some fresh dirt on the spots where the trees were, you'd never know anything was there. They cleaned-up everything and we were very happy with how they left our yard. Crisp and clean! They pruned our avocado tree and got rid of some dead branches and now it's starting to grow in very nicely. Great service, professional crew, and very easy to deal with. These guys were great to work with. They came out promptly and gave me a quote. They said they were able to do the job the following week. They work a lot in my area and I see their trucks around all the time. They arrived on time to do the job and were very specific about how much of the trees they would cut back. They did a really great job, trimmed them evenly and shaped them well. Did it all in 1.5 hours or less and cleaned up afterwards. I will be using them again!

Called a week in advance for the appointment, everything seemed fine when it was scheduled. An hour past the appointment time and an unreturned voicemail on their phone and I still haven't heard from them.

Tim was very personable and knowledgeable when he came to give the estimate. It was clear he cared about keeping the tree healthy. After deliberating a few days we let Tim know we selected Timberland, and my husband said he would be available any time the week of June 9th. Tim said he would call back with a specific date, but we did not hear back from him for a week. We called twice and left messages, but he won't return calls. He finally called back on Friday the 13th and said he had been booked up all week and would come the following Monday. He assured us no one had to be home during the work. The crew did show up as promised and they did a great job on trimming, and the entire area was very clean. He honored the 5% Angie's List member discount. I would have given the company an "A" rating if they had been courteous enough to call us back when we were waiting for them to show up the previous week. We would use the company again based on the quality of the work.

I called Timberland Tree Co. to get an estimate to have a 15 ft rubber tree, two 4 ft juniper bushes, a dead cherry tree, and two orphan tree saplings removed from my back yard. I also wanted to have a rather large African Iris bush transplanted to another part of the yard. I got the answering machine and left a message. Michael returned my call the same day and came out the next day to give me an estimate. He arrived on time and gave me an estimate of $400.00. I was pleased with the price he quoted me and so I asked him when could do the work. Much to my delight, he was able to send his crew over about an hour and a half later to do the job since they were working on another job nearby. A team of 4 guys came over and they did everything within about a half an hour. They did an excellent job: quick, efficient, neat, and at a fair price. With my Angie's List discount, I ended up paying only $380.00 for an outstanding job. I will definitely use Timberland Tree Co. the next time I need to have my trees taken care of.

Their price is fine. The quality is perfect. They showed up when I call. They're here all the time at 7:30am. They're good. They speak Spanish completely which is fine. I always use them.

The team showed up exactly on time, efficiently set up, did the job in about two hours, and did an amazing clean up afterwards. While here, they were very professional, open to input, and willing to offer professional recommendations when requested. This was our second time using them, and we will remain loyal customers.

They did a great job for a very reasonable price. My only difficulty was getting the work day scheduled. I was told at the time of the estimate that it would take about a month to get a work date, which was fine, however once I called and accepted their bid, I didn't get a call back for the date until I called again a couple weeks later. After that everything went very smooth and quick.
