The work was superb. The crew arrive promptly and began the pruning of my trees in both the front and back yard. I have been trying to shape the trees in my backyard and thin out some banana palms in the front yard for a few years. The crew also removed a dead tree and stump. The shaping of the backyard trees was a continuation of the work that Timberland did last year. The trees have been topped off at about the telephone lines and they are far more attractive. The front yard was similarly trimmed and thinned out in sort order. I plan on inviting them back annually to make adjustments as necessary. The crew included around 8-10 workers and so the job was finished very quickly. I had asked to have the tree trimmings mulched and spread under the trees in the front yard and back yard. The mulch has left a very nice lemon scent in my yard and the benefits of mulch under my trees is greatly appreciated. The crew leader, Mike, had great attention to detail and made sure that i was happy with the results. Overall, Timberland did a great job both last year and, again, this year.

Two trees trimmed without a problem. Can't ask ask for more than that!

I have services pending with this company and their quoted price was about $800. Their original price was a little more than I expected for that work, I would have expected a couple of hundred dollars less, so I decided to cut back on having another tree worked on. The technician that comes out to work on trees is an arborist. I responded to their web site and I believe they did not pick up the call through their web site so I would suggest a couple of follow-up calls.

Did a nice job, very knowlegeable. Not the cheapest, but a good value.

I am very pleased with Timberland's service. I plan to use Timberland as long as they are in business and reasonably priced.

Tim's crew came and trimmed all of the trees on my property. They also removed a number of stumps that remained from previous tree removals. When there was a miscommunication and one large tree was removed in error, Tim was very supportive. He found replacement trees and and came and installed them at his cost. I was very pleased with the experience and would use Tim and his crew again. Their work was professional and they were efficient and cleaned up after themselves beautifully !!

Great service, setting up an appointment was effortless and they we at my place at the exact time I wanted them there. The pricing was actually pretty cheap considering all of the hard work and equipment it takes to remove a large tree. Thanks to Timberland Tree the tree is gone and I no longer have to worry about any further damage done my house because of it.

Excellent experience! Mike was punctual, professional and pleasant to work with. His company provides very high quality work, usually with a whole team of workers, for a very reasonable cost.

Maybe I got lucky, maybe it was just another day at the office for Timberland, but they performed a work of art on my tree. It looked stunning when they finished. Their clean-up was spot on. Excellent all the way around. I would and will use them again.

They came out and they did a really nice job. They had to remove the branches around the electrical and phone wire. They were careful of several my gardens and removed three big dead trees.

Once they arrived they had the tree trimmed and laced and had everything chipped and the yard cleaned in about 2 hours - amazing

BEAUTIFUL WORK! I recently had my OVERGROWN trees (2 XL ficus & 2 large magnolias) reduced. I was very concerned the trees may suffer, look untree like, and loose the simple beauty trees provide. I was happily mistaken. My backyard is still an oasis. MIchael was great and professional ( present from start to end). They did exactly what was discussed and MORE (without extra $)! The whole team was on time and to see them work is impressive. Tim (owner) also made an appearance to check on things. I will be using them for my yearly maintenance to keep my trees in tip top condition. Thank you guys for providing PROFESSIONAL, HONEST, & BEAUTIFUL work! FYI: I had 5 estimates and MIchael was the most professional, thorough, fairly priced! And stuck with the estimated price!!! You will not regret using them.

They arrived right at 10am. The window of time for arrival was 10a-12n. They left around noon. They provided all the services mentioned above and then, during the walk through, my spouse was able to approve the work done before they called it a finished job. They brought their own mulcher to haul everything away. I am very, very pleased with the results. They also provided us a 5% Angies List discount, but I would have hired them even without it. I recommend this company to anyone requiring tree service. I will be calling on them again in the future.

They did a great job. They were really great. They gave a very good price because all the other companies that we knew were very expensive. They were very nice people. They came, did the job and cleaned up and everything. The whole experience they were very professional. They did show when they came to give us the quote at the time they said they were going to do and when they came to do the work they showed up even earlier.

I am so sorry to do this, we had been so happy with this company in the past, twice, and I'd even written them a great review. Something has changed drastically since then! We hired them to come back and trim a small tree in the side yard, which they had done before, and also trim 2 out of 3 overgrown palm trees in the front. Without telling me, the Supervisor (Michael?) left our jobsite, leaving no one here to communicate with the workers. While he was gone, they trimmed THE WRONG TREE in the front - down to a nub. A tree which needed absolutely nothing taken off it at all, a beautiful palm with full rustling fronds, which made a lovely noise with the breeze. This, instead of the other 2 palms, clearly overgrown, sitting right next to it. We'd been extremely specific, several times, about which trees to trim. If I had KNOWN THE BOSS WAS LEAVING, I would have supervised the guys myself, instead of doing my housework inside the whole time. I came out and saw what had happened, and how bad it looked, and realized the boss was no where to be found, I had to call to find him. I told him when he got back that it was completely wrong, and looked terrible, and that I was upset and my husband was going to be very angry. He sort of smiled & laughed it off. When my husband called him, he just sort of laughed again and said "Well, these things happen". NOT GOOD ENOUGH! We've never been able to reach the owner, and no one has ever responded, or offered to refund part of the charges, or taken responsibility & sincerely apologized. This poor tree, the only one right in front of our deck, looks like a giant Q tip. It will be a long long time before it is a lush beautiful stately palm tree again. It is clear that the great owner we'd experienced previously has turned over his jobs to someone who does not neither knows, no cares about service, responsibility, aesthetics, or proper supervision of the crew. We will never use these guys again, I urge you not to either. If you do, be aware that the main guy will leave, not tell you, and prepare to supervise the workers YOURSELF.

Timberland was late for the appointment to give me a quote and did not call me. After 1/2hr. I called them and was told that they were delayed at another job and would be here in another hour. I told them that was too late. They persuaded me to see them the following day (which I did) and this time, they were on time. I did not use them because their quote was too high. If it wasn't for the fact that they were late the previous day, and did not contact me, I may have used them even with their quote being high, but punctuality is a high priority with me.

My first contact was with Michael for the bid. He set the appointment up to make an estimate the next day, I had the bid emailed within a week and the work done the next week. I was impressed from the start with Michael because he was a good listener and understood exactly that we wanted our trees trimmed and not butchered. Not only do our trees block our view of neighboring high rise buildings and provide privacy, they provide us with a bit of nature and it was so nice to have a professional who actually seemed to be on the same page we were. A team of 9 workers outfitted in orange hard hats arrived in 4 trucks promptly, actually they arrived early. Michael joined them and stayed for the whole time--another HUGE PLUS. Having him there the whole time insured that the whole process was on target and efficient. So often the person who does the bid never adequately passes the information on the the people who are there to do the work. This was not the case. Michael's strength was his concern for making sure he understood again what we had discussed and then he communicated that to the foreman. My husband had added a few other trim requests and those were done without additional charge. We had five dead trees removed (eucalyptus and birch), all trees that touched the house trimmed back, dead wood removed from many trees and one big tree that had some major cutting back. Plus we had a yucca and palm trimmed. Michael said June was not a good month to trim pines because of bark beetles. When they were done Michael made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. There were a couple of branches left and he had them trimmed. The cleanup was excellent and efficient. I was extremely pleased. When my husband came home and inspected everything, he was also extremely pleased (and he's a picky architect). It wasn't until the next day as I inspected everything once again that I fully realized how artistically the trees had been trimmed, foliage left to block ugly views, branches trimmed aesthetically, and thought-driven trimming in general. A very intelligent job. It was a pleasure doing business with a professional company. I definitely would recommend them without reservation and will definitely hire them again. And he gave me an Angie's List discount! Great company!

The workers arrived on time along with a man by the name of Mike who seemed to organize everything. After he had gotten the workers started, he left because he had another job to tend to. The men got to work--they were very boisterous, but that was fine as long as the work got done. They replanted a Rubber tree which I thought would have to be uprooted and thrown out. I was very happy it was able to be saved. Then my husband had to keep going out to tell them what needed to be done. He speaks fluent Spanish. We then had to have them re-do the work since it had not been done correctly. First, they had to be told to cut the Bougainvillea back more than they had. Then we looked at the Podocarpus and, although they were trimmed, they weren't thinned out. There were also cut branches still stuck in the trees as well as branches half cut off. I went outside and spoke with the foreman about the Podocarpus. I explained about the branches and about how things needed to be thinned out. He just stared at me. I must have told him several times and there was no response. I asked him if he understood what I was saying and he replied, "Yes, so you mean you want them to look ugly?" I told him of course not, but I did want them thinned out. Well, they got back to work. I had to leave and my husband was here. We both agreed that it was like pulling teeth to get the job done correctly. The trees were thinned out a bit, but there are still half cut branches hanging down and it just looks like a very sloppy job.

Timberline responded quickly to my request for an estimate, actually visiting me the same day as the call. I scheduled and within two days, my tree was trimmed beautifully and my yard was left in great condition.

Michael returned our call the same day & gave us a quote the next day. We scheduled the work for the next week. On the day of the job, Michael & the crew + chipper, arrived on time & completed the job quickly. The clean up was great.... Can't say enough good things about Timberland.

He did a great job. He fixed it. The tree was banging against a lady’s house next door and with the wind storm coming up we fixed it. He did a nice job in cutting it and he said he would come back and send me a card in December, so that between December and January he would trim my other tree for me. He did such a great job and I was just happy to have him. So that’s why I called him as I couldn’t find his business card and I hung up. He did a good job. He said he will send me a card and he said he would do the same thing because the Avocado tree needs to be cut in December and January. If he doesn’t send me a card then I have to go ask another person to cut my tree. He is so busy they don’t have time so we missed the cycle again were he said we can do next year. The tree is not producing much fruit because there is no much sun against the tree. They did a good job so I want them to come back for December and January. The roses need to be cut back in January in order to produce a pretty rose by the time April and May comes.

Did not utilize Timberland Tree Co. due to the time frame I needed the work done.

Estimate and work done in timely manner. Price fair. Arborist on site during all work. Perfect cleanup. Could not have asked for more.

A great service provider! Very professional from start to finish. Michael communicated quickly to give an estimate, listened thoroughly when we reviewed what I wanted, and was responsive in setting up the appointment for the job. Crew arrived on time and were professional and courteous in the way they set up, took precautions to protect lighting and sprinklers, and were meticulous in their clean up. Michael arrived ahead of the crew to walk the job with me again to make sure we were on the same page. His personal supervision was very much appreciated since this was the first time I used Timberland. The entire job went quickly and smoothly, much more quickly than I expected given the extensive nature of the trimming and clearing. In addition to the high degree of professionalism exhibited throughout the experience, I really appreciated their experience and "vision" to be able to reshape trees and shrubs when the areas were so overgrown. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
