"In August 2024, my husband and I decided to replace all of our interior furnishings. We originally started our project by working with the “designers” in the stores where we were making major purchases. It took us over 8 months to realize what a BIG MISTAKE that was. Long story short, we called Christian in April 2025. Christian came to our home and talked with us to understand the scope of the project. We wanted to redecorate the family, dining, and living rooms. Christian spent time getting to know us, asking us what we do for fun, and how we live our lives. He gleaned from us that we are adventurous travelers, with a love of the outdoors; he noticed my husband is into music and has a love of classic rock musician hard-cover biography books; he noticed that we both are somewhat minimalistic and that we prefer an orderly space. Christian’s tireless energy over the next 4 months produced recommendations for sofas, artwork, accessories, lighting, area rugs, coffee, end, and drink tables – you name it, Christian thought of it! We needed it all. His recommendations fit not only our lifestyle and our aesthetic preferences, but our personalities. Case in point, during our travels over the years, we’ve taken many photos of the places we’ve been. But these photos lived in our phones – where they weren’t being appreciated. Christian had the brilliant idea to showcase the photos on the wall in the dining room using MixTiles; he also suggested making two huge pieces of wall art for both our entryway and our living room. The result is nothing short of amazing. Christian also brought his crews in for electrical work and some painting. They were friendly, professional, speedy, and very clean. Christian was simply a joy to work with and he made our house not only beautiful, but comfortable, functional, and SO US! He was always available for a visit when a piece of furniture arrived, was always honest with his opinion, and always included my husband. Christian turned what was originally a very frustrating project into a wonderful experience and we are thrilled with the end result. We can’t say enough about Christian’s work and we are proud to call him friend. "Never having used Angi's before, we were shocked to receive such an immediate response to our request for help in replacing some badly broken tiles in our kitchen. We listed the job on a Saturday night, got a call from John (JB Tile & Stone) on Sunday morning, and the following morning he was at our house to discuss what we needed done. Since we only had about a dozen replacement tiles (and they were no longer available if we needed more) we were understandably nervous but appreciated his honesty on the challenges of removing the broken ones without damaging the ones we needed to leave in place. Based on his obvious experience and the reviews we read from satisfied customers, we decided to go ahead with the project. Our confidence in his abilities was more than justified. The work took place over 3 mornings. He arrived early and did exactly what he said he was going to do each day, i.e. carefully removing the broken tiles and old adhesives, then setting the new ones in place and finally grouting the newly tiled areas. We could not be more pleased with the end result and consider ourselves lucky that John was the one who responded to our call for help."
