Description of Work: My request was a safety check of electrical outlets in the house. |I had previously had an electrician do some repair work on electrical outlets. |I thought they did a good job. |Comfort Electric stated there was a problem in a bathroom outlet and rewired it. |However It had already been rewired within the last year by another reliable electrician. Thought Comfort Electric seemed high.

Description of Work: Purchased service on 11/7/14. Company scheduled on 12/2/14. Explained fully to scheduler the install of ceiling fan. Less than 24 hours before appointment, got a call from company that my appointment would have to be rescheduled and they went on to say that they(Comfort Electric) "didn't make any money on Angie List coupons anyway". And that Angies List wrote the coupons and they were not always correct! However, if you go to Comfort Electrics website, you will find another Angies List coupon to use. The next morning I called the scheduler for Comfort Electric and asked that the Owner call me to reschedule or confirm the information I was given. As of 1/15/15, no call was received and my account was credited from |Angies List personnel. As a final note, not only did I have 1 ceiling fan but I actually had 2 and the electrical installation to be done in rear yard for plugs and light fixtures for landscaping...All this info I explained to the caller!

Description of Work: Installed an outdoor electrical socket. The electrician tried to charge me more for the service. He grudgingly installed the socket for the $79 I had paid, after I had to convince him I would not pay more. This was not a pleasant experience.

Description of Work: They replaced an exterior flood light fixture with an outlet for plugging in Christmas lights. He arrived early and was done with project by the time I arrived home from work. How easy is that?

Description of Work: There were no problems with the work. However $740 to replace 15 circuit breakers was entirely too much according to estimates I obtained later. Agreeinbg to the $740 price (after given a $200 discount)was entirely my fault. Charging that much may be questionable.

Description of Work: Rene installed two light fixtures and a switch. i think that he had to drive too far to get to my house. For that reason I will hire a different electrician next time.
