Description of Work: The person that showed up at my home was a subcontractor for Comfort Eelectric. When I lodged my complaints to the management of Comfort through Angies list they rectified the situation, voided my check and reduced the coast to a fair price.

Description of Work: After some brief email back-and-forth, including a list of what I wanted done, we scheduled the date. I made sure I was home from work early to meet them, but I received a call indicating that they were going to have to reschedule due to being a man down and an emergency something-or-other. I got a call several hours later asking about my location and suggesting they might be able to stop by on their way home (it was after 5 p.m.). They did come after all. | |They replaced a dining room dimmer switch, checked a faulty bedroom light switch, and installed 3 GFI outlets in the bathrooms. The GFI outlets cost more than I'd anticipated. The $99 deal didn't seem to cover a whole lot, but I'm not complaining too much, since the work needed to be done one way or another. They threw in a few extras, including replacing metal connectors in metal boxes with rubber and tape (I have an old house with cloth wiring downstairs and such). | |I appreciated their coming out at the tail end of a long day for them. Both men were professional and didn't hesitate to explain things to me.

Description of Work: Installed one outdoor dusk to dawn light. Installed switch to shut off the power to it. I felt it was a lot of money, $79 for $249 dollars of electrical work, then I had to pay $100 on top of that. So your telling me, it cost $349 to install one light ??? That doesn't seem reasonable. I am sure they are a good company, but I probably will look else ware. Not complaining just was expecting to get more for the price.

Description of Work: I had a problem with my land line not working and Rene found the problem, a socket had burned out. He found two others that needed to be replaced. He installed my new front porch light fixture and gave me estimates for future work. I was very please with the work. Yes I will call them in the future.

Description of Work: I purchased the deal with the intention of having them install two wireless thermostats. They came out and couldn't figure out how to do it. So I asked them to do a couple other tasks. They wanted to charge $75 against the deal amount to change out a light switch. I have changed many light switches, it's takes maybe 5 minutes. Of the tasks I asked them to quote me (all of which wouldn't be taken less than an hour) they wanted $200 above the deal amount I already paid. | |So, I told them to leave, I returned the deal (Angie's list was great about that) and I did it all myself. Did I mention I'm a girl with no electrical background!!
