I think they were very good and they did a good job. They were pricy for what they were.

Professionally, our electrician John did a great job. He showed up on time, was very courteous, and thoughtfully approached how to solve our odd problem. He ended up solving it in a relatively short period by simply switching the two switches (one of which was a dimmer switch, and the other wasn't). My only complaint was with respect to pricing. I bought a 'big deal' from Comfort Electric, which gave me $249 worth of services for $79. After having spent less than 30 minutes at my house and no materials, John indicated that the company charged $320 for 'troubleshooting'. I accept responsibility for not having called to verify what the charge would be first before having them send an electrician out, BUT you don't have that opportunity prior to buying the deal. So in essence, I have to hope that the $79 I am spending is a good deal based on how the company prices their services. I've had many electricians out before, and NONE of them have charged me $320 for troubleshooting/investigation. That is an astronomical fee for diagnostic services with no material outlay. In essence, he is charging me $640 an hour for troubleshooting. But again, was very happy with John and that he was able to solve my problem.

My first appointment was set up for the afternoon, between 1-4pm. He did not show up, but called after 4:00 to let me know he wouldn't be able to make it. I called the company back and set another appointment. They did come to the house and made an assessment of what I wanted done. I needed to order the light fixtures and call them back when I was ready and they would come out to install. After receiving the light fixtures, I called and made another appointment for Tuesday, Nov. 17th between 9-12. I took the morning off of work specifically to take care of this and planned to go to work in the afternoon. No one came and no one called. I called the office and talked to the girl at the desk. She said she would call the technician and let me know what was going on. I wited over an hour, but then had to get to work. When I got to work, she called me and said someone could come out later in the day. I told her I was at work now, so I would not be available. I told her I wanted a refund and that I would look elsewhere. Later on in the day, the owner of the company called and apologized for the mixup. I explained my situation to him and mentioned that it was impossible to get a Sat appointment when I would be home, so he suggested an appointment in the eventing between 5-6pm on Thursday, Nov. 19th. I was hesitant, but thought I would give it one more chance and we scheduled it. On Thursday, I arrived home at 4:30pm to be sure I wouldn't miss the tech. He never showed up, never called. Have not heard from them to this day. This is probably the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. I am requesting a full refund of my $79.00 for the Angie's Deal, which wasn't a deal. Thank you.

We did have some initial issues of concern, but the owner showed great professionalism and has fixed everything to our great satisfaction.

The work seems good. He worked hard all day but it turned out to be EXTRMELY expensive, despite the "coupon". The $830 doesn't include the $500 I spent on bulbs we bought from Home Depot.

Work was good, but it turned out to be nearly $200 per hour which is excessive for an electrician. We feel they padded the bill to cover for "Angie's" discount. We will not be using them again, nor will we use Angie's list again.

We were not happy with the service. We bought that thing on Angie's List for $99.00. The guy was supposed to show up around 9:00 and then it was like 11:00 and I called up and he said I'm sorry, the person that's supposed to be at your house for the 9:00 appointment, well first of all, we had to keep calling the guy up and then they finally got a hold of him. It was close to 12 in the afternoon. They got a hold of the guy and he's sick. Well, I wish you'd told me that, or told me earlier because we bought the fans to have them installed. Okay, let me find you another guy. Okay, so 2 hours later they said they found another guy. So, then I get a call from the guy that's supposed to come in the afternoon saying that he couldn't come because he had some job that couldn't be completed earlier. I said, why don't you do it afterwards? He said, well, no, because it's my anniversary for my wife and you know how that goes, if it don't show up for my anniversary date it's not going to be a good thing. I said, okay, so I called up Comfort Electric again. I call them up and this is like close to 4 or 5 now and I explain the situation so they called me back and said look, I got another guy coming and he's almost done with his job, it will be almost 6:00. So, around 6:00-6:30 the guy finally showed up and he did the fan. So, I will not call Comfort Electric again. The guy was kind of tired from being on the job all day and it was around 6:30. The work was good, it was just the frustration of waiting all day and I took the day off of work.

We had the work scheduled for Friday but they called and let us know that they were running late and would have to make a later appointment. I didn't want them at my house that late so we rescheduled for Monday. On Monday the same thing happened but they called while I was at work and didn't have my cell phone on me. I will be working with a different company. The first time was understandable but after a second time I'm not going to try again.

They were late for their first appintment, The quote was RIDICULOUSLY high. He even admitted that the quote was ridiculous.

They were punctual, professional, and the job looks great. I had an issue with an indoor outlet and called them for assistance, and they were able to walk me through an easy, simple fix on a Saturday. No need to pay more for a visit. Very happy, and I recommend Comfort Electric.

No appointment was available until over two weeks from when I called. Luckily this was not an emergency call. The service person called me the morning of appointment to let me know he was running late a few hours. When he showed up he seemed knowledgeable and professional. My only disappointment is that I think they're too expensive.

It went well. In the past I did a plumbing inspection and was provided a report of all suggested repair. It would have been nice to receive a report from this service as well.

Happy with the work performed. The workers were professional and did everything I needed.

Technician called to say he was on his way gave me time frame. Arrived appropriately, gave clarity to all jobs looked at! Professional, fast & gave me quotes for other jobs I was looking to do.

I thought I would be provided professional labels for the panel, not someone taking a sharpy and marking on it.

Did not perform because the technician was afraid he will drop the TV while installing!!!!!

Fine, just more expensive than I thought. $150 for each light fixture.

I called to confirm appointment on the day of service, I didn't receive a call back until technician called to say he could arrive early. He was a nice guy, but the first thing he did was tell me how my outside electrical panel should be replaced & how much it would be, and it was very expensive. The "deal" that I got was no deal at all. It was $99 for $200 worth of work. The price of everything was more than what other electricians had quoted me. The quoted price to change the light fixture was $300!!!! So I had to pay $100 in addition to the $99 for the "deal". All of the other items he quoted me were on the highest end. I had the tech do just one thing so I could use my voucher and be done with it. Comfort Electric asked me what I wanted done when the appointment was made, they should have told me what the charges would be. And I should have asked, my bad.

The experience has been horrible. The person who scheduled the appointment said they would come out today, 10/7. The electrician then called me and said he couldn't come out until next week. I called the office back who said the electrician would be there today. The electrician called again saying he couldn't come out. I purchased a different deal to replace that one and asked for a refund on the deal with Comfort Electric.

It was okay. A safety check was supposed to be included with the service, but he tried to charge me for it. He did a partial check, and said that it was a free check. He was in and out in 40 minutes. The prices he quoted me on other work were very high, so I'll likely find someone else.

Seems like a lot of money for about an hour of work. He wanted to charge me 50 just to look at something in the wall! He also stood on my white bedspread in his work shoes. I definitely would have liked those off!Gross! His work was done well as far as I see though, and he was able to work with our odd old house wiring.

Very professional and friendly. High standard of quality.

They were on time. Very professional. Reasonably priced. I would call them again.

Serviceman called ahead to confirm appointment, arrived in great time, replaced faulty switches, breakers and one wall plug. Costs exceeding original Angie's List deal ($99 for $300 svc) were agreed to, totalling $395. more.
