I purchased the Big Deal. I entered my dates of availability to have the work done. I got an email saying all three dates (2+ weeks from today) I entered were not available. I called the provided phone number for the to schedule the work. I got a voice mail of the contact who said they were out of the office for a week and could not schedule until after he returned. The work to be performed is on a rental property and I can't wait several weeks for the work to be performed. Please refund my money and I will find another company to perform the work.

I found Comfort Electric through one of Angie's Deals. Rene arrived right on time. He quickly assessed each issue and gave me a couple choices for each item. He was friendly and professional and explained things to me succinctly as he knew I had to get to work. The work was done within a couple hours and everything has been working great since.

Vendor sent email confirming purchase and I called on Monday morning. No return call. Then I sent email on Monday. No return email. I called again on Tuesday morning and left message. I called again on Tuesday afternoon and reached electrician. He was in car and was somewhat abrupt and said very busy, not available this week but could set time for next week and to text him my address and list of work to be completed. I did so on Tuesday. He did NOT return my call on Wednesday, as promised, to set time to complete work. Based on difficulty in reaching vendor, poor attitude and lack of response to set appointment, I do not wish to work with this vendor and requested refund of monies paid to Angie's List. Please refund monies ASAP. This is my FIRST experience with Angie's List and was very disappointing. Not sure Angie's List is legit or useful. Richard Harris

Rene was on time, diagnosed the problem in a timely manner and fixed the problem.

The"D" rating we gave this company is due lack of professionalism. Which is very important, and what we expect in a electrician that will working on our house. We did cancel the job before the job was started, and asked Angie's list for a refund. The communication between the electrician and us was very difficult, and vague. Just trying to schedule with this company, as to when the job could be started and if there would be any extra charges. All phone calls started and ended with I'm in my car or on the job, please text me tonight. The coupon we purchased, $69 for $250 worth of electrical services, is a great deal. But more important, if we liked this electrician we would certainly have him back for more work. The estimates we got from other electricians on and off Angie's list, was $200 to $330 (with out coupon)for the requested wiring job. After four days after purchasing the coupon, we called the company and left a message requesting them to call us, so we schedule when, and if there was any extra cost to do the job. the next day the electrician left a voice mail stating that he didn't need to come out to our house to see the job, and that it was going to cost an additional $200 to $300 to do the job. After that we text a photo of the coupon and coupon number, along with the other information he would need start the job, we also stated that we were confused as to why the extra cost. The answer we got back was, that he would try an keep it close to $200. Which means when the $69 we already paid is added in, there was no savings... and that he will try to do the job next Tuesday or Wednesday, because the next following week he is going on vacation. At that point we had no trust in this electrician, and called Angie's list support and requested a refund, and then text the electrician that we were canceling the coupon job. And "NO" we would not recommend this company for any electrical service.

Provider never showed up

I bought a deal for a electrician to come out on May 28, 2014. Through the purchase it asked to provide dates that I would like my appointment. I understand if it could not meet my dates but I received no response via email or phone. Next, days later I called and left a voice mail. Yet again no call back. I then called again couple days later and Rene said he was driving and couldn't take my info so text him. I text him my info on a Monday and he replied "you're on schedule" with no indication of what time or date. I text him Saturday and he said he doesn't know who it is. Later he did get back to me and said I do have an appointment and it is M-F from 8-11am. I gave him that availability to choose from but I need a specific day and time. I couldn't just sit around not knowing when he was going to arrive at my door. In the end I don't want such an unorganized businessman working on my home.

I used Comfort Electric's service through a coupon. It took a day or so to call back but the electrician arrived on time and was prompt and courteous.

Called ahead and arrived on time, performed additional services when asked at a reasonable cost.

Good- efficient - quick, appointed to do good work, from loos wires that also fixed.

This was a very satisfying experience. Rene was very creative, professional, thorough.

Arrived early (good). Worked w/me to identify needs. Took care of it.

After purchasing an Angie's List "Big Deal," I contacted Rene who fit me into his schedule. He arrived at my residence and performed the work I needed ( rewired a junction box). He also performed a safety check on the main panel in my residence, and made recommendations.

Rene showed up on time and performed excellent work and fair pricing.

Comfort Electric called us to make an appointment but we were able to resolve the problem before he arrived. He was very personable and supportive on the phone.

He arrived on time in face early. I asked him to replace a fan in my son's room and also add a wireless device to the fan so we can operate the fan from the switch on the wall. Charged me an extra $150.00. No keep in mind the switch on the wall was changed out to the wireless one. He did not attach any wires on this switch just took the old switch out and slid the new one in. Also he replaced a mount that needs to be bracketed on to the fan. The old one was plastic and hanging by a string. I was AMAZED that would be an extra $150.00. Took him under an hour to complete the job. I don't think I would use this company again nor would I recommend them. I felt $219.00 is ridiculous for a job that replaced an old fan, put a new mount on and switch out a old switch to a wireless one. I also didn't appreciate the HUGE mess he left behind.

Rene did a great job fixing the external electrical outlets and explaining the situation.

It was fine. He told me I needed a whole new panel, and I don’t know if I really needed it or not but I did it. It was not something I was planning on doing. I don’t know what it would cost to have all that put in.

Very professional electrician. He really knew what he was doing.

Signed up for coupon and received a call and email from company. They came out on one of the dates requested and did work.

Scheduler to come @ 8:00 Arrived 7:70 finished @7:42. Very curt and short replies.
