It turned out well. I hired them to work on the bathroom plugs, which weren’t working. They are working now. He saw a few other problems, over and above what I'd asked him to do; he worked on those as well.

Rene of Comfort Electric was fastidious,meticulous and fast! I asked him to replace all of the switches, plugs and wall plates in my kitchen which has had cabinets refaced, walls wallpapered, sinks and counters reglazed, recessed lighting with six-inch moulding installed and all appliances replaced over the past two years. Ten electrical outlets were replaced during the two hours to not only match the bright white hue of the kitchen cabinets, white wallpaper background with pink & lavender hydrangea and new white appliances, but also to update the electrical " innards" for this 45-year old proprerty. Before he left, I asked for a written estimate (quite reasonable) to have the outlets throughout the house checked and updated. Thank you, Angie's List, for introducing me to such a competent & experienced electrician! What made me comfortable with Rene's expertise was that he answered all of my questions (and then some!) and provided a running commentary / explanation of what he was doing and why. Have you ever had a service provider who gladly & patiently do that?

The service provider was very professional and pleasant, explained options available for job, and recommended a solution would most benefit me for the flood light install. Did the job right and everything was clean. Used an Angie's list coupon from the provider for $99 and paid the remaining balance at the time of service - pricing did not seem unreasonable and gave me a reasonable estimate to do some additional upgrades in the future, which tells me the service provider treats his customers right and is looking to build long-term clients. One of the best experiences I have had with an Angie's list contractor to date!

I purchased the big deal $289.00 for $89.00. I needed 3 GFI outlets put into kitchen, Rene from comfort said that GFI are normally $150.00 each so I could only get 2 for what I paid. Since there are 3 outlets, they all need to be up to code I paid the extra $150.00 to have the 3rd one done . I also decided to correct the both bathrooms and paid an additional $160.00 to correct them. It all looks great I just didn't realize how much GFI were, I gave the price rate a B, because I felt that was a little high, but the work was excellent.

I would recommend him and plan to use the company again.

I searched Angie's List for a electrician that could install an outdoor outlet to piggyback on an interior circuit. I called Comfort Electric before buying a $149 coupon to confirm that it covered my job. I first spoke with Evelyn (on 11/21/2014), a pleasant woman that coordinates appointments, and she couldn't answer my question, but was happy to have the electrician in my area, Rene, call me directly. Rene returned my call promptly and confirmed the coupon covered my job, so I made my purchase through Angie's List. During these first two conversations, I expressed that I needed the work completed during the short Thanksgiving week (11/24-26, 2014) and got the impression that it would happen... I don't know if it was a communication breakdown on my end or on theirs, but when I received my second call from Evelyn to schedule my appointment, she told me that the first availability was on 12/12/2014. Since I needed this work completed before Thanksgiving, I had to scramble and find/schedule another electrician to complete the job and, subsequently, requested a refund on the coupon I purchased from Comfort Electric. This job did not work out due to an unfortunate miscommunication. I will, however, be happy to engage Comfort Electric on a future job due to their prompt attention, friendliness, accessibility, and good ratings/reviews on Angie's List.

We had an appointment last week between 8a-10a. They called at 10:15a with an excuse as to why they wouldn't show. The appointment was rescheduled for today, however I got another excuse about why they won't make it.

John Davis, from Comfort Electric, came over to install an outdoor electrical box for my Angie's big deal. He surveyed the situation and said, honestly, that it was possible to install the box where I wanted and that it would cost so much more to do it properly. I really respected him for his expert opinion so I was unable to use his services. However, if I need an electrician in the future, I would not hesitate to call Mr Davis back for services.

I purchased the voucher from Angie's List. I was contacted by Evelyn and scheduled an appointment for today which correlated with the availability of myself and my tenant at the property. I got a phone call this morning from Evelyn who told me she apologized but her company does not service the area she booked me for. She stated she was new to the company at the time, and i explained that i am left stuck in a very bad situation, especially since my tenant is very upset. She told me i can get my refund from Angie's List and nothing else i can really do. I will now need to go to the property and fix the problem myself to satisfy an angry tenant.

I have called Angie's list for a FULL Refund for the not 1, but 2 deals I purchased form COMFORT ELECTRIC or to apply the money toward another Electrical Deal with the same offer and with a Company that is REPUTABLE AND LICENSED I I have not heard anything back yet. The rep I spoke with Also admitted they Do Not & Legally Cannot offer, suggest or promote a company that does not have a current License and they would Pull Comfort Electric form the site, however I just received an email yesterday asking if I wanted to purchase another Deal from Comfort Electric.. WOW

Rene from comfort electric called to let me know he was on his way. Showed up in a nice looking company van, Rene gave good advise for safety inspection, put in the new outdoor outlet qucikley, and cleaned up area of installation, I would recommend comfort to my neighbors, friends and family.

For that price, I can call any other company to do the work. It is not a deal or a good price for the customer. It reminds me of bait and switch.

They told me the soonest appointment they have available is November 26th and I need service sooner than that.

We bought the $99 Deal for $300 of electrical work. Renee worked quickly and finished the job. But...scheduling, responsiveness, arrival time and price all missed the mark! 1) We had to call to schedule when there was no response to using the online request system. 2) The phone scheduler had no idea about pricing of services. We scheduled 2 weeks out because they were booked. We clearly stated more than once, that we wanted a call back regarding the price estimate for our specific job before the appointment. No call was received. 3) Renee missed the 8-10:00 arrival window today because of another call but did call us four times to keep pushing it back. 4) For replacement of the five outlets (we supplied four) we paid an additional $200, essentially paying $500 for a perhaps 90 minute job.

I wasnt able to use the deal because the deal was accidentally purchased for another market area. They were excellent and really great about it!

I paid 300.00 for him to replace a 20 amp circuit breaker with a 30 amp circuit breaker designed for air conditioners. This did not involve reconfiguring the electrical box. The whole process took about 20 minutes. That seems pretty expensive to me. I guess it would have been $329.00 because I had a 29.00 Angie's List Coupon.

I called first to make sure the $69 Angie's List special would cover the cost. I was told it would. The provider called me once he arrived at the residence to try and upsell me. I politely declined. He did a nice job on the fan and the wall switch.

Very efficient. Done earlier than expected. Very professional.

They were unresponsive. It was two weeks and I hadn't heard anything from them.

The electrician was prompt, courteous, and very easy to work with. We will have him return to do additional work.

I purchased the services on 10/14/14. Received confirmation post purchase that I would be contacted within 2 days of purchase to schedule. I entered preferred services dates into the system twice with no response. I sent another follow up email on 10/22/14 requesting a response of some sort and still have received no communication. I have not had any issues with other purchases via group on and surprised at the lack of response from this provider.

provider never contacted me after the Big Deal was purchased on 10/15/14. I since checked out the contractor/provider's reviews on your website and found some disturbing comments and experiences by some consumers.
