It was ok, pretty good. They do a good job inside, but outside was very rushed. We still had a lot of spiders outside. I'd use them again though, overall it was a good deal and they did a good job. They are very professional and nice.

I have a broken Tibia. Therefore, I could not walk around with him. He was out there a while but he never came back in. He seemed to have left without discussing anything with me. I had then called the following Friday to see if I was possibly being mailed the estimate. I then spoke with the owner and they said the work was outside their scope. He did not even come in to tell me. This was very unprofessional.

I'm writing this two months after the first of our quarterly treatments, and I couldn't be happier. Our house had a huge cricket problem and also had some issues with spiders and cockroaches. The pest control technician was on time and sprayed both inside and outside. That evening, we couldn't believe how quiet it was - usually we have what sounds like a cricket orchestra in our backyard. Some reviews have brought up how long the treatment lasted; and I'm very happy with how long ours has worked. Only now, two months after the treatment, am I starting to hear a few crickets in the backyard. I haven't seen any spiders and certainly not as many webs on our patio furniture. In sum, the treatment worked, the company was easy and pleasant to deal with, and my arachnophobe husband can finally relax. Highly recommended.

It was fresh wood that didn't match up with the other wood so that was when I had to have the other company do the painting on it. They were below the medium because the work was so bad. I had to keep telling them they haven't replaced this and that, and the framing doesn't even meet. The wood doesn't meet and they didn't do anything about that either. They kept telling me they were done when they were not done. They came to get the money and I told them they haven't cleaned up any of the mess around here. They were not professional at all. I haven't had termites but we haven't had hot days either. Maybe we had hot days since July but I think they allow a year before they start doing their thing again, but I haven't had termites showing up. I think it was overpriced. What bothers me is that they seem to have good grades from other people and I thought they were terrible. I never would want one of the guys around here again. The other guy was very nice. As far as construction, the part of that was working here was wonderful but I'm annoyed with the owner because I can't read his writing for one and he is kind of hard to understand. I looked at the contract and tried to figure out what he was saying and I could not see what's there on the contract so he said he would have his girl type it up for me. He still hasn't given me the receipt. I won't have any proof. The railing that they did and the door frame were not good and the fact that they kept saying they were finished when they weren't finished and the fact that they left a mess around, and I had to get on them after that. When I told them they haven't done this and that, they would do it. They didn't argue about it.

I called them back a second time because I had silver fish in my bedroom so right after the first treatment, I saw some ants in the kitchen but I was too late. It had to be within a month or something and this was longer so they said that didn’t count so I got my own stuff and treated it and then the second time I saw silver fish in my bedroom and they came back and treated it and that’s been okay and since then, I’ve had more ants but I got my own product that I purchased a fix that. They are very nice and they come when they are scheduled and everything. I don’t watch how they spray because you have to be off the premises while they are spraying so I don’t actually see them spraying so I don’t know how well they are covering the territory. The price seems like it was reasonable. I wished he had worked a little better. I’ve never had anybody sprayed for that before so I don’t have anything to compare the price to. They are okay. I was hoping for better results but maybe I was just asking for too much.

First time they came out they sprayed and did a free termite inspection. Today was the second spraying. I was impressed that they called ME to remind me that it was time to spray and had several convenient openings in their schedule for me to choose from. They were prompt (arrived when they said they would) and sprayed quickly. I have not seen a bug since they sprayed the first time and I had LOTS of spiders before the first spraying.

The first person that came out to spray met with my Husband, he allowed my husband to stay in the house while he sprayed. That was my first concern. We waited for a week and kept seeing the roaches. I called back and they did send a second man out that I met with. He was very polite and explained the process. He said it did not seem like we had a large problem and he did ask us to leave and he did wear a mask. He explained he was going to also treat the hinges on the cabinets. Again we waited about a week and still saw small roaches. I called and was told they would not come back out. I asked to speak to management. I received a call from Gabby. She was not helpful and she was argumentative. She said she would rather just give me my money back because she did not want to deal with me. She made me feel like I was the problem and not that the service did not work. Very rude. The good news is they did return my money. I would much rather they provide the proper service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

Surf City is just OK. I found them through AL as I didn't like that our previous pest person would just show up unannounced to spray in my yard. I did like that SCTP would make the appointments and call the day before the came out. I have to say that their spray doesn't last long at all. I bought a quarterly or annual package from Angies List and you'd think the spray would last for at least 3 months. Nope. They only guarantee 30 days and that is about how long it lasts. My husband, me and baby girl were all getting spider bites in the night. Practically worse than before spray....like the spiders came to us in the middle of the room to avoid the spray along its perimeters. Awful. Outside, even though we were spraying for spiders, we'd get these HUGE spiders with these giant webs under the patio cover and also under the garage door eaves. They'd even attach their webs to our car. SO, I am not sure what the pest dude was spraying....water? Though SCTP are professional and responsive, I would not use them or recommend them for spider treatment. Other than that, they may be good for termites or something like a one time treatment.

Our home was invested with ants. After the initial treatment, we saw that there were no longer any ants inside the property. There were however, a trail of ants outside of the property. We just used bug spray to kill of any remaining ants outside the home.

This is my second purchase of this package which I've been happy with. I'm bad with remembering names but the service guy that did my house is awesome! He's done my house before and has been consistent. He's on time, very polite and professional. It was one of the hottest day in socal where people were passing out at a local parade. I felt bad but like a boss he owned it! He did everything very thoroughly. He sprayed every nook and cranny of the house where we have a lot of brown widows. He sprayed the eves, around the shed and even our fences. The interior has been effective as I've seen dead spiders and roaches in our hall way well after the treatment. I'll clean it up and won't see another incident after for awhile. I'm been very happy with the service and value. Surf City, you need to make sure you pay the service guy well to keep around for a long time! I'll have to look his name up update my post. Tell him he is awesome for me!

They came out on time to estimate. Gave a discount for being on Angie's List which was a plus. Overall they did a great job.

Felix and his partner arrived punctually at 9 AM to perform the termite inspection and the insecticide spraying service. This is my first time using Surf City Termite and Pest Control. The entire visit took under 40 minutes. They were professional, courteous and efficient. No termite issues were found. As for the insects, I don't really have an issue with them. My goal for the service is for insect control around the perimeter of the house. Felix put on shoe covers when he entered the house, which is much appreciated. Overall, the visit went very well and I look forward to their service in the future.

I only use Surf city for all the rental properties i manage because of Valerie, Valerie and her fellow staff members have the best customer service skills, all i do is give Valerie my tenants phone number and she coordinates everything for me. They also do a follow up free service after 2 weeks if needed. Very professional company and their pricing is very competitive. They also do an excellent job keeping records for you.

It's been roughly 2 weeks since the treatment was applied. Instead of large pests, I now see smaller ones coming out when I wake up in the morning. The employee did mention that once the big ones die off, the small ones will have to come out in search of food. I will be calling them to set up another appointment ( a part of the package). I definitely hope the second treatment will completely kill them off.

Surf City Pest Control is an outstanding company to work with for your pest control needs. Their prices are fair, they do great quality work and the customer service is excellent.

The provider arrived on schedule and the technicians were polite and professional. Technicians were courteous and removed shoes for spraying in the house. They said if we had any recurrence of the ants to call them and they would come back out. We did have a recurrence and all ants were eliminated after the 2nd application.

This company was professional from the first contact until the last. The young men were quick and efficient. The price is for a 4 visits and it is very competitive. I love that this company is woman owned. I'm happy to have found them.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we've used this company. The customer service is great. I had to reschedule due to fear of rain and they were able to come out 2 days later to do the work. For the quote and work both exterminators were either early or on time. I like how their office gave me a one hour window and then called me 20 minutes before for an exact time of their arrival. Best of all, the termite droppings are gone and many of our creepy crawlies are not out of our lawn furniture.
