okay - the technician was very late, even after I called and got a new eta. The insects are mainly taken care of, but the garage still has crickets.

I don't have anything to compare price.

I am used to doing things myself, but old age is getting in the way, so getting a reliable contractor scared me. I selected three contractors from Angie's List. Quoted prices varied greatly - two were close, one was a factor of two higher. I ultimately went with Surf City Pest Control. Good choice. Tenting and fumigation went smoothly. Fascia and rafter repair was first rate. I am a skilled wood worker building my own furniture and kitchen cabinets. I was impressed with the techniques and care used by them in replacing the damaged wood. Tenting the 2700 sq. ft. house was $1850, wood repair was $2000 for replacing approximately 60% of the fascia . I supplied the paint and they painted the new wood, they also removed all of my old ugly gutters from the entire house. They did not ask for a penny until the final touch up was completed.

It has gone well. The team is very professional, thorough and efficient. We see a drastic decline in bugs when they come. This is our second year using Surf City Pest Control.

We're on a regular program with them. Every 3 months they come and spray around the house for ants. They're very good. When they come over if there's anything that you've seen around the yard and you think it's a possibility it might be termites they're more than willing to take a look at the situation. They also do free estimates. The price is good. I don't have anything to really compare it to, but I know that the price that we pay for the service every 3 months is not exorbitant. On quality they're really very good. They guarantee within 24 hours if you see anything they'll be out to take care of it after they've done an application & if it should rain within 12 hours of their application they will come out and reapply for no charge. They come by when they say they're coming by. They are extremely professional.

They did a great job. Found a few areas which they treated and repaired.

Two nights ago, I started cleaning out my cabinets and got about halfway through the first night. The next morning, they called and left a message while I was at work. On my way home, they called again to confirm my appointment for today between 12:30 and 1:30. I said no, between 9 and 10. They said, well, we can't be there then, so we rescheduled you between 12:30 and 1:30. I had already made plans for the day, and couldn't be there. The attitude from the person on the phone was pretty insincere. She offered to reschedule for another day, but between the short notice and the poor attitude, I don't care to do business with this company. This would have been the first time doing business with this company and I was interested in having them come out on a regular basis. I'll try someone else.

Very well. The customer service is excellent. The techs are very professional.

Everything was done as promised, on schedule, and there have been no problems since.

They have been coming to my house for about two years now and there is no ants to be found! The technicians are always respectful, courteous and hard working. The office workers are always nice and very helpful as well. I would definitely recommend Surf City to anyone needing pest control as I did two years ago.

It went fine. They were always here when they were supposed to be and they would come for the quarterly treatments even if we didn't call them.

Initial service was well done. Interior and exterior treatment was good for the initial service. So far, so good in terms of reoccurring pests. Will update review as the quarterly service is done.

Surf City did an excellent job. The gentleman that came was as nice as could be, he stuck to the time scheduled, and the company's commitment to me was A+.

Surf City was our first choice based on the superior rating on Angies List. The appointment was set up and followed with courtesy phone calls the day before with name of technician and 30 minutes prior to arrival. Felix, the technician showed up on time and looked around the house. He offered his assessment and the solution to prevent future bird nesting. He also provided a verbal quote on cost of installing # of barricade. He said we would receive an official estimate next morning in an email. After we heard and receive nothing the following day, we called two days in a roll for answers. Then we were told Felix was on the field Friday and will get back to us on the following Monday. We waited till Wednesday before we gave up on him and the company. We were very disappointed with such irresponsible response and offered no explanation as why they left us in hanging.

They're prompt. They are very courteous, professional, and friendly. They are easy to work with schedule.

CALLED ME A DAY BEFORE AND THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT ABOUT AN HOUR BEFORE ARRIVAL. THE TECH SHOWED UP AS PROMISED ON TIME, HIS NAME WAS FELIX, HE ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS AND DID A THOROUGH JOB OUTSIDE ON THE YARD, THE DOORS, THE GARAGE ALL THE FLOWER BEDS AND LAWN. HE WAS FANTASTIC. I WOULD HIRE THESE GUYS FROM THIS FAMILY BASED BUSINESS ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. FELIX GAVE ME HIS CELL PHONE TO CALL IF I NEEDED ANYTHING OR IF I HAD SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS OR IF I WANTED TO HIRE THEM FOR ANY OF THEIR OTHER COMPREHENSIVE LIST OF SERVICES, THEY DO IT ALL!!!!!!!

Felix was great and had a wonderful attention to detail. Went above and beyond.

The young man who performed the service was very good - prompt, thorough and responsive to my requests. They actually came back after one application because I had ants coming through a door. They sprayed in that particular area and the ant problem was eliminated. I found them through Angie's List offers. I will use them again.

They have done a total of 3 jobs and they had to come back for 2 of them because the insects came back. It is not as effective as advertised. I had a year long contract with them. The cost was reasonable. I would compare prices from other competitors.

They did a good job. We have not found any additional critters around. We will be working with them for termite control. I would recommend their service.

Initially, I bought this deal due to moth infestation and I called to inquire if the chemical to be applied would eradicate the moth. I was told that it would control the moth. I do not have any problems with roaches, flies, ants or silverfish, just moth. Prior to the first spray the moth problem was much controlled, but I was hoping to eradicate the moths totally. It has been 3 sprays already. These past 3 weeks, I have noticed moths flying inside the house again. I was told on the second and third sprays that the chemicals used do not really control the moths. In order for the insects to be affected, they have to cross or their physical bodies should touch the chemical spray. Since moth is flying around and the spray is aimed mostly on the floor crevices and corners, there is no chance that the moth's body will touch or cross the chemical spray. The staff are excellent. They gave us a call when we were due for the next spray appointment. They gave us a call one hour prior to appointed time. The staff they sent were courteous, cautious and provided an excellent service. I hope they can help me to eradicate the moth permanently on the last spray.
