Description of Work: We purchased the service as a 'deal' from Angie's List. The purchase covers 1 year of service (4 times). When we contacted them after the purchase, the service was scheduled in a reasonable time frame. The technician arrived on time and completed the job in under 30 minutes. | |3 months gone by, I received a call from them to schedule another service. Every went well just like the first time. Great service. I like the fact that they initiate the contact for the service that I am entitled. | |Great company.

Description of Work: We had them come out twice to our home after purchasing a 1 year contract via an Angie's deal. While they are friendly and responsive, the potency of whatever they use does not seem to be sufficient. After the first spraying I found a cockroach and other creepy crawlers, including maggots on the ceiling (which was a new issue--yuck!). I called and they said to wait a week. I ultimately had them come back. We still have spiders and moths which never seem to go away. We'll keep it going for the year but I don't think I'll renew.

Description of Work: I got 3 quotes before I went with Surf City. The had a good price and the people I dealt with were extremely nice, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I used them for subterranean termite treatment and separately also for pest control (ants). Every technician who came to perform the treatment were very helpful and answered all my questions. I forget their names, but I do remember one guy, Felix. But I must say ALL the guys were very good. I would totally recommend this company.

Description of Work: we heard noises in the attic and called around to several pest control companies. we chose SURF CITY TERMITE AND PEST CONTROL because the customer service over the phone was professional, there was no hard sell, and they were very accommodating about sending someone out quickly. |The cost was not the most expensive or the least. |The very capable Nathan came out, looked around the entire exterior of the property looking for indications of rodent entrance. we had recently had most of them covered over with wire, but he discovered three near the roof that had been missed as they were covered by very large leafy trees. he sealed those, and set traps in the attic. |Nathan told us that if we heard a trap go, to call the company straight away and they would come and pick it up, otherwise they would be back in one week to check the traps. |My husband did hear one go two days later, and SURF CITY TERMITE AND PEST CONTROL promptly sent out someone to check it out and remove the rat and replace the trap. They also sent Nathan back out one week later to check the newly placed trap, at no extra cost. |It's been 2 weeks since that last visit, and there's been no more activity above our heads since then! |Nathan and the other representative arrived on time, always calling 15/20 mins beforehand to say they were on their way, did a thorough, quick job and were pleasant and happy to answer questions and explain what was going on. When we asked if we were likely to get the rats spreading to the crawlspace under the house, we learned that we had roof rats, not ground rats, so it was unlikely. Sure enough, there has been no noise or activity from under the floorboards. |We had to rearrange appointments twice, and the lovely secretary Star was always very obliging and moved things around for us quickly and without fuss. |Great company - we recommend them without reservation.
