I got several quotes from different companies for treatment of subterranean and drywood termites and ended up going with this company. Sal was professional, thorough and I felt gave me an honest assessment rather than try to sell me a bunch of services I didn't need. They arrived on time, completed the work and even offered to take away extra debris I had lying around. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service. I called them for an estimate based on Angie's List reviews. Abel came by the following day to conduct the inspection and told me the estimate will be sent to me the next day. The estimate arrived via email the next day along with all the information I needed to make a decision. I decided to go with Surf City, and it was very easy working with them to set up a schedule. On the day of the tenting, the crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. I did a walk through with Ray to make sure everything was properly prepared. The tenting came down a couple of days later, no damage or other concerns. During the process, I spoke with Abel, Star, Gaby and Ray with Surf City. All were professional, pleasant and knowledgeable, and they made the process nice and easy.

All went well. The nests were removed quickly and with ease. The technician was very friendly and didn't waste any time. I will absolutely use Surf City again!

Surf City treated my home for a localized termite infestation. I was very pleased to know that tenting would not be necessary; the alternative treatment Surf City recommended was exactly what I wanted. Additionally I had a rat problem we’d discovered in the attic. On the same day of the termite treatment, Surf City set traps in the attic and basement, cleaned and sanitized the attic, sealed all the areas of access. A two- person team was timely, courteous, efficient, clean and thorough; it took less than half a day. I believe they provided top service with honest, affordable pricing. Thank you!

Continue to reliably provide great service. Our technician has been servicing our house for a few hours now and he does a thorough spray where we see a noticeable decline in pest and insects.

The exterminator was punctual, courteous and wore booties inside the house to keep my carpet clean. He explained what he needed to do and got right to it. He suggested I wait outside until he finished the inside so I could properly lock the door. It is only 2 days since the application so I do not know if it was effective. There is a 30 day guarantee.

The rodents in the attic appear to have been removed. Several that chewed their way into the house have not due to household pet. Left traps for me to place after dog is asleep.

They only came twice, not quarterly. The techs that came out were professional, but the female(s) in the office who made the appointments seemed unprofessional and disorganized. I have not renewed with them and have hired another company. Based on the fact that they only came out twice during the contract, instead of quarterly (4X) I would not recommend anyone contract for yearly service.

Work went according to purchase plan. Service techs arrived on time, and provided thorough indoor and outdoor pest control evaluation, spray, and recommendations. Scheduling was a breeze although it would be helpful to get reminder calls regarding the quarterly services. Other than that, would recommend/rehire Surf City.

No more unwanted visitors! I purchased the annual plan to make sure the insects kept out! The office will call to schedule a return visit in three months.

I bought the quarterly plan and have been pretty pleased with the service. It was a good deal and it has significantly reduced the amount of bugs we’ve had in and outside of our home. The exterminators are always punctual (they arrive within the time window) are courteous(call when they are on their way) professional and knowledgeable. I like that they make sure to check and spray around areas you wouldn’t normally consider to need to be sprayed such as around the mailbox. I will buy another quarterly package when this one is finished.

The tech did a full inspection and told me the steps I took were sufficient and there wouldn't be any more unwanted tenants in the dryer duct. He told me the inspection was complimentary

They estimated, & said orange oil would be best, as the whole house was not infested; we agreed. They made & painted fascia boards before arrival. They arrived on time & worked all day; cleaning up everything! Polite, professional, they did a great job! We did not have to leave the house. We received a senior discount, too!

Always reliable. If we didn't schedule our quarterly appt., Gaby would always give us a call. Our renters (3 of our adult children) frequently would forget to call. the pest control operator was always polite and professional according to my daughter. I was only over there 1 or 2 times when Surf City's employee was there. I'm considering hiring them for my hose which is les than mile rom our rental, but I'm a little reluctant now that I see their new price, which if I recall correctly, is $100 more than for 2016.

I called three Fumigation companies to get quotes, all from Angies List to perform a fumigation on my rental unit in Los Angeles. One didn't bother calling me back, and the other one was literally double the price of Surf City. I was shocked. I did a bit more research on this company off of the Angies List site, and decided to go ahead and give them the job. I was not present when they did the tenting, but they were very prompt and thorough, and definitely did the job. How do I know when I wasn't there? Well, the foreman on the job took a cell phone picture of my tented house and sent it to me. Wonderful.
