All went well from start to finish. Sergio arrived as scheduled for estimate and also promptly as scheduled to perform work with his crew. All were neat and courteous and professional. My floors and countertops had never been professionally maintained but because of the variations in the stone I wasn't that aware of the gradual change in the finish. When I spilled a full bottle of balsamic vinegar on my kitchen floor leaving a huge stain I had no choice but to have someone who knew what they were doing take care of it. One thing led to another and the project expanded to include dining area, stairway, entry and countertops. There is now no trace of the vinegar stain in the kitchen and all the floors and counter tops look great. I am very pleased with Sureshine's service and the results.

I wasn't going to post this because everyone makes a mistake from time to time and I thought it was best that the mistake was made before I actually used them and potentially had problems. I made the appointment last week for this Monday and took time off work. The appointment was scheduled for between 10:00 and 10:30 as he "had another appointment before" and allowed enough time in the event it ran over. 11:00 a.m. rolls around so I call and leave a message to ask if he's running late. I use Angies's List because companies have a certain amount of accountability to their customers, therefore, even called them to ask if there were problems I didn't know about. It's close to 1:00 and no phone call from this company - no return call from the message I left them. The owner finally answered the phone stating "I had to take my son to the ear, eye, nose and throat doctor - I thought I called everyone but I guess not." Honestly, I understand life can get in the way and things happen so I was willing to give it another try (even though I lost time from work) until he said "well, I thought I was going to be doing business with your husband." WHAT? So that makes a difference how? Makes up for not showing up or not calling? In some way doing business with my husband would make a difference? What I'm happy about is the mistakes he made by not showing up, not calling and dismissing me in some odd way as "the spouse".... Things happen and like I said, life gets in the way but I was extremely unhappy about the way they handled a potential customer. I have several projects I wanted them to help me with that would have far exceeded his estimate on the phone of $2,600 to seal my patio slate. Would rather do business with someone else because the final frustration was (as I said) after I called him back and asked what happened about the appointment, his statement of "I thought I would be doing business with your husband" is far from appropriate in business.

So pleased! What a pleasure to have this crew of professionals in our home. They arrived on time and were courteous, friendly, clean and quiet. Really respected our home, always putting "booties" on when they were in the house. Put plenty of plastic down on the areas they would be walking on and had tarps outside for their equipment. Everything was done exactly as we had agreed. The owner, Ted McFadden, with whom I spoke when the job was finished, encouraged me to call at any time if I had any questions or concerns. He said they "build customers for life." I will attest to that; I am now a customer for life.

Very professional and courteous. Both showers look great, but the Marble shower looks exceptional! Had a little problem with the grout and Ted was quick to come out and fix it.

Ted's team (Dane and J.R.) did both jobs. The new home was a breeze for them. They arrived earlier than was arranged and got right to work after walking through with me to see what needed to be done. Moving on to my older home several days later, they cleaned all of the tiles and grout and repaired a few cracked tiles. The downstairs was very light tile with white grout, which after 14 years and 2 dogs, was no longer white and required a lot of effort on behalf of Dana and J.R. The two of them worked from 10:00 in the morning until almost 9:00 at night and left the floors looking great. A few days later, when getting the house ready to list, I noticed a couple of areas along the baseboards where the old grout was cracked and hadn't been repaired along with the other. I sent an e-mail off to Ted and he was just terrific. Responded quickly and he himself came right out within a day or so to take care of the couple of areas that needed attention. The floors look great and really make a difference to the overall appearance of the house. Thanks!

DANA AND RACHAEL SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB. IT DID TAKE THEM ALL DAY AS I HAVE LOTS OF 12 INCH TILE! MOST AREAS LOOK BRAND NEW. (ONE BATHROOM AROUND THE TOILET DID NOT COME CLEAN.) THE KITCHEN WAS THE MOST HEAVILY SOILED. THE GROUT LOOKED BROWN AND NOW IT LOOKS WHITE!! (ORIGINAL COLOR.) DANA WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY TO LEAVE THINGS BETTER THAN THEY WERE. (STUBBORN CLEAN-OUT VALVE ) MY TILE IS LOOKING GREAT! A WEEK LATER, TED, THE OWNER CAME OUT AGAIN (NO HESITATION) TO CLEAN A FEW SPOTS THAT WERE STUBBORN. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS! I WILL NEVER LET IT GET SO DIRTY AGAIN!

On the day of service both employees called in sick, but instead of rescheduling, Ted the owner came out and performed the service by himself. We have light colored tile & grout which is a challenge to keep clean with 2 dogs and 6 grandkids. Ted did a wonderful job. Our tile and grout haven't looked this clean & beautiful in years. My granite countertops also look beautiful. Ted was courteous, professional and prompt. He even gave me some tips on how to clean my tile so that the grout stays cleaner longer. I would definitely use this company again!

Everyone was on time and worked nonstop. Very courteous, polite and hardworking. Did an excellent job and we are thrilled with the results. Are looking to have additional work done soon since everything else looks so nice and we still have some countertops that need help.

It went excellent. The floor look great. I would highly recommend this company. The owner, Ted, is great, and was easily accessible. I will certainly use them again the next time the floors need to be cleaned and polished.

I highly recommend Sureshine Care & Restoration Services .The job was done to my complete satisfaction. The entire crew did an excellent job. Everyone was professional from start to finish. My 10 year old travertine floors, granite and marble counters looks brand new.

The floor tiles had a nice luster. The dark gray was replaced (because of deep-rooted grime) into a much lighter shade of gray. The grout was unbelievably cleaned and back to its original almost white color. That component of the job was just great. The 2nd component was not as successful. I am still not sure if the issue is technical or less than stellar craftsmanship. Therein lies the core issue. My expectations were not adequately controlled. After they started to leave at the end of a long workday, my wife decided that the final product was not acceptable. This much I think I understand about changing a dark grout to almost white. It is very hard to do well. Nonetheless, after their 1st attempt, there were too many mottled areas; looking very much like it was painted with cheap white paint...much like painting over a dark surface to a light color without benefit of using a primer. Anyway it was afterdark when they left and, though better, it was far from perfect under close scrutiny. The effort was outstanding in terms of hours expended, but the quality of the final product was a B- to C+.

We moved into an older home a little over a year ago. We realized that underneath the downstairs carpeting in the hallway- was a ( once) beautiful slate floor. The floor was covered in paint and was in need of cleaning/polishing and needed an acrylic seal. The floor looks amazing now! Beyond our wildest expectations and service was professional, punctual, and price was fair. We will probably have him back to do the same in our bedrooms once we get around to tearing up the carpet! Highly recommend!

Dana arrived on time, was very and professional, made sure he draped anything that could have been damaged by his equipment (for example, draped the railings on the staircase to prevent the hose from damaging the railing), he was meticulous in cleaning all the corners and doubling back to get any tough areas. I was very pleased with the quality of the work, Dana's work ethic was great and he did a fantastic job!

I had some real stubborn grout stains on a white tile floor in 2 bathrooms that I attempted to clean with bleach, simple green, etc. to no avail. They came and did a great job of restoring it like new.

Ted was great about coming out and giving us a quote. He didn't try to oversell us. In fact, he told us that we needed to do less than other providers did. Dana was the technician. He and his team were great. They were very careful, diligent, and thorough. They worked hard and did an amazing job. Dana went above and beyond in my opinion. I would definitely recommend Sureshine and would use them again in the future.

Our experience with them was great. There was an additional charge besides the $129 big deal. I wanted him to clean the grout more carefully so he charged extra for that. The work met my expectations. He was really courteous and professional. He really did a good job with the cleaning. This was the first time I had this done by a professional. I just really like the guy that came because of his professionalism and customer service.

He did a wonderful job on the grout and made it the color it was originally. He was on time for job and did it correctly.

Ted (the owner) came out to assess the job at hand and to confirm the proper tint of our beige grout to confirm all colors matched. The job consisted of caring for the floors of the whole house (kitchen, dining, living, bedroom and both bathrooms). The job was performed by two of his very capable technicians who were nothing less than true professionals. I have a home office right next to the house and while the techs performed their job, it was as if they weren't even here. It was a real pleasure having them around. When the job was completed, Ted returned to our home to ensure that we were 100% satisfied with his companies services.....as we were. Great experience!

My granite was beautifully cleaned and sealed and the grout at the backsplash was removed and replaced. The marble top on my buffet was very stained and etched. I was very happy that it looked like new when they were finished. There must have been a miscommunication about cleaning the floor grout in my bathrooms and it didn't turn out as I expected. But Ted, the owner came out and corrected the problem and the grout looks clean and white now. Ted was very nice and informative and aimed to please. I will use them again.

Their price was excellent and they had a number of people out for the job. Their sales people were very knowledgeable. Their scheduling was good, they could schedule a time, and they showed up on time. The work however took longer than what was estimated and there were a few problems but they did come back for a second time and we were ultimately satisfied but it took longer than expected. So they had to redo some things but then they showed up, came back and completed the work when they said they would.

It went extremely well. Ted is very professional and was prompt responding to my email, setting an appointment for the estimate, arranging a date for the work and following up! The bathroom looks outstanding and he and his crew did everything they said they would in a timely manner. Thank you!
