Description of Work: Jim came over to look at replacing some rotted wood on my 110 year old porch; they were complicated shapes with a lot of moulding, and the replacements needed to match and connect to the original structure. His quote wasn't cheap, but it seemed reasonable; I hired him to do the work. He showed up on time, as scheduled, with the wood already cut and planed. He installed it quickly and competently, routing the edges and installing millwork to match the original trim. I'm very happy with his work, and will definitely use his services again.

They seemed to know a lot about everything else so if I need work for anything else I'll call them first. We chose them because of Angie's list.

Jim came to my house the next day and later provided a bid that was reasonable and took into consideration my budget. Jim was patient, listened and provided good ideas and information. I continued to be impressed throughout the process with the service, speed and workmanship. Jim was easy to work with and very accommodating to my requests. I couldn't be happier with my new kitchen and bathroom and would definitely use Jim again for other projects. He takes pride in his work and I would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.

+ 1 moreDuring Jim's visit to measure and give us the estimate he listened to or wished and asked questions to assure he knew what we wanted and provided information to us so we would could make good choices. Jim's estimate was very reasonable and his time line was great (two days from start to finish). When the stone business delayed delivery to Jim his wife called to brief me on the problem and the adjusted time line. (Great customer service). He was very professional and very personable. He finished on time and did a great job. The shower looks fantastic. We will be using Jim again and I recommend him to anybody.
Description of Work: Provided estimate in writing. Set time table for execution. Took out fiberglass tub/shower combo. Reworked all plumbing to accommodate new walk-in shower. Itemized what homeowner needs to buy. Ordered, delivered and installed cultured stone panels and shower pan. Installed handicap safety bar and corner shelving. Installed all fixtures for shower. Removed vanity sink and installed new one.

+ 1 moreWe had 3 contractors come out and give us estimates. Jim seemed the most professional and sincere. He explained in detail what we could expect and he went above and beyond what we had expected. He got the job done 2 days before it was scheduled to be completed and we love our new room addition, kitchen and bathroom. I would recommend OC HOME BUILDERS to everyone who needs any construction work done. So many scary contractor stories out there so I was hesitant but I am so GLAD that we did it!
Description of Work: We had 600 SF room addition/den added to our home which was much needed and we had both the kitchen and guest bathroom remodeled. We have so much more space now it's fantastic and our kitchen looks awesome. We can actually have guests over and enjoy our space.
