My experience with OC Home Builders was top tier. I wanted to install new windows to help soundproof my bedroom from my neighbor's AC unit, and they helped me get the job done. America and Dereck were both friendly and skilled at their jobs. They were not pushy. The installation went smoothly without hiccups, and now I can't hear my neighbor's AC at all. I highly recommend them to anyone and will be turning to them for future work.

We had an excellent experience completing our whole home remodel with OC Home Builders. I have already recommended them to my neighbors, my closest friends and family. This is a hard working, honest contractor with talented craftsman who take pride in their product. This local, family business came highly recommended from our architect and we could not be happier with how they brought our plans to life. Every aspect of our home was remodeled. OC Home Builders changed our floor plan, made our home structurally sound, replaced all plumbing and electrical wiring, replaced the roof, replaced insulation, new walls, new hardwood floors, bathrooms and a kitchen completely reconstructed-literally everything! OC Home Builders was always incredibly organized and kept me and my husband up-to-date on our options, the progress of the build and the next steps. Jim is a talented and experienced contractor who runs a tight ship and has great relationships with his team. I always felt like my home was being built to the highest standards, with attention to detail and with beauty and precision in mind. America was the project manager and the person we most often interfaced with. I cannot thank her enough for always answering my questions, helping me make informed decisions for all aspects of our home, and keeping me in the loop on all of the activity and improvements being made. They were always flexible with us as we made decisions and they were helpful when troubleshooting the issues that naturally arise in a project of this size. We now live in our dream home and feel secure that every nook and cranny is well constructed, tastefully done and with the best products and craftsmanship available. OC Homebuilders remodeled our home and garage. They have been professional throughout and communicated from start to finish. We are updated on our project progress with emails, text and photos. If there are any issues, we are notified immediately. We are happy with the work they have done and am optimistic that it will do great on the market. I highly recommend them.

We have had a terrible experience with OC Home Builders. They renovated 4 bathrooms for us in 2019. After less than 5 years, we just had a water leak in the master bathroom shower. The cause of the leak was substandard framing and support for the shower bench which caused the bench to settle causing the separation between bench and wall. The side of the bench was also not hot mopped at all and several parts of the hot mop did not have blocking behind for support. Not only did OC Home Builders not take responsibility for their mistakes, they asked us to pay them more money to fix their mistake! We are so disappointed with the way they have handled this whole situation and do not recommend them at all. Please work with other general contractors who take enough pride in their work to actually stand behind it.

I have used oc home builders before and would use again and again. I needed the floors redone after a poor job by a different company. I could tell the difference at the end. The edge work around the transitions were so nice and even. The baseboards were taken off and put back on and they still look great. Amazing work.

I hired OC Home Builders Inc. to build an ADU for me. Their service has been great. Jim and America did a good job keeping the project moving and taking care of issues as they arose. In particular I felt they kept me well informed about what was going on with job as it progressed. Jim made some great suggestions along the way to improved the finished product. This is a family company and I felt I got to know and appreciate all of them during the course of the project. They all work very hard to get the job done. As a home owner, I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a general contractor for major constructions work.

OC Home Builders, Inc. is a family run business. America and her husband Jim, split the job with America running the administrative & financial end of the business and Jim running the construction. My wife and I could not be more thankful for the absolutely professional service we received from them. They were efficient, thoughtful, precise, well priced, and most importantly honest. The prices they quoted us did not change, and they were up front with any changes that had to be made and what if anything they would cost. OC Homebuilders, Inc., utilized their close relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of all products was high and the cost was low. Our brand new kitchen could not look any better and it is all thanks to the work of America, Jim, their entire family and team. I would recommend them without hesitation for any upcoming project you have planned for your home!!

From day one, America was very patient and went above and beyond to explain how remodeling projects work. She assisted us in getting our building plans approved all without any commitment from us to select her company as our builder! Ultimately, we selected OC Home Builders because they checked all of our boxes: customer service, quality of work, great reputation, and competitive pricing. Throughout the process, America and Jim were very transparent. It was reassuring that changes to our project were warmly received by America and Jim, who stressed how important it was for us to be happy. The job was done exceptionally well, with minimal noise, dust and disruption. The crew (Paul, Derrick, Clay, Chase, David) was friendly, talented, professional and punctual, always taking time to explain where the project was at and what to expect. We remodeled our kitchen and vanity with OC Home Builders. The scope included new custom cabinets. America and Jim were great to work with. They always kept us up to date on what was happening next and any challenges. The work progresses smoothly and efficiently. They are family business and a tight team so everyone knows what they need to do and when, with Jim providing oversight. The worksite was kept clean and orderly. I highly recommend them.

OC Home Builders did a fabulous job on my bathroom remodel. They have high attention to detail, great communication, they were very clean and consciences, and do beautiful work. I am very pleased with my services.

We did a major addition to our home. It was 2 stories, included a kitchen, new roof line, dining room, facade. OCHB did the entire job, from the new foundations they poured up to the last shingle on the roof. OC Home Builders was outstanding. The reason they're so good is it's a team effort: the husband, Jim, is a detail-oriented, no-nonsense, high quality contractor. And his wife, America, is the customer service. It's a perfect combo. Jim gets it done right, and America makes sure you're brought along and your concerns are heard. Then they have their 2 sons doing a lot of the work, and they're just great. Good, kind boys that are really hard working. Their other employees, David and Paul are also way above par. Good people and really detail oriented-no-shortcuts-type of folks. Anyway, we've used them multiple times and their work has never failed. From a cost perspective, we found them to be right in-line with the majority. Not cheap, but not expensive...but with the excellent product, it's a much higher value.

Great. This is the second time we have hired Jim and America - they do terrific work.

We're 95% done and I'm very happy with the results. Some of the fixtures that I ordered are back ordered, otherwise we'd most likely be finished. But every step of the way, both America and Jim have been very professional and helpful. I've come to trust them and appreciate their suggestions! They've communicated well with me and have been flexible enough to occasionally work around my schedule. I will be doing more remodeling in the next couple of years and will definitely be calling them to do more work for me!

OC Home Builders remodeled the interior of our home (kitchen, two bathrooms, one laundry room, structural upgrades, fire place) and everyone on their team worked incredibly hard to complete our project. They worked great with city inspectors and have great relationships with them. America and Jim were available whenever we had questions and always gave great value for their work. They were willing to work with other contractors and be flexible to adjust to our schedule. Their entire team takes a lot of pride in their work and they want to make their clients happy. We would definitely recommend to others.

We had OCHB remodel our master bathroom. The work included removing a spa tub, extending the shower area, installing tile and the counter top, and updating the lighting. From the first meeting until the completion of the project we found them to be an excellent company. America and Jimmy were always available to answer questions and responded in a timely fashion. Their cost was reasonable, their work was excellent, and their communication was even better! Every step of the way we were informed about the next day's project, when their staff would arrive and any adjustments in time that needed to be made. Their workers and sub -contractors were also very good. We enjoyed working with them and were very happy how the the bathroom turned out. We highly recommend them.

Excellent. It was a long process but Jim and America Fischer were supportive and professional. America accompanied us on buying expeditions for tile and vanities and always found the answers we needed. Jim always took the time to answer our questions in an informative way, explaining details, code requirements, and the logistics involved. The project was finished in a timely manner despite the materials/supply chain delays we are experiencing these days. Everyone we worked with was professional, courteous, understanding, and knowledgeable.

It was truly AMAZING to work with OC Home Builders! From the very start, Jim and America were extremely responsive and flexible about our plans and goals for the kitchen reno (and were patient while we re-worked plans with our designer which greatly impacted the scope of the project). They offered great guidance for workarounds to fit our design goals and were knowledgeable and helpful throughout. It wasn't until we finalized all details and started the project that we could really appreciate the extent of the professionalism and communication - each person on the OC Home Builders team showed up to do their part as scheduled, we always knew what stage of the project we were in, and they were very conscious of keeping our house clean and the project contained (which was a major win because we continued living and working at home for the entire duration and my wife was extremely pregnant at the time.) We even added a few additional items to the overall project and they were clear about the pricing and timelines for those as well. There were never any negative surprises or "gotchas" with this team - and best of all, they finished ahead of schedule (on the day my wife's water broke)!!! We are extremely happy with the results in our kitchen and look forward to working with OC Home Builders again when we tackle our next home project.

America and Jim were amazing. They came strongly recommended by our designer and we couldn’t be more happy with their work. Jim provides the muscle and does most of the installation himself alongside his workers while America is the project manager. They provided us constant timely updates and were always eager to accommodate any additional requests. Their prices are fair for the quality of work done and you can tell they take pride in their work. We strongly recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again if we wanted to embark on further projects.

We would highly recommend OC Home Builders to our friends and family! It is a family run business and Jim and America were great to work with. They were responsive and friendly throughout the 5 month long renovation. Also, they were thoughtful and actually brought up seemingly minor house improvements that I appreciated. For example, popping gas line from kitchen to outback for a future grill. The work was high quality at a good price and we would definitely use them in the future.

It went incredibly well! OC Home Builders is a family owned business run by Jimmy & America Fischer. Once a detailed plan was created they stayed on schedule throughout the build, even when the nationwide COVID-19 issues arose in March. The only delays we experienced were due to those created by the late arrival of appliances. Their craftsmanship is top notch and we could not be happier with the final results. OC Home Builders are an extremely capable, talented, reliable company, capable of meeting your construction/remodeling needs.

We were extremely pleased with the work of Jim & America Fischer and their staff on the remodel of our bathrooms. They were very accommodating to our wishes as well as following the protective measures for COVID-19. We would highly recommend them.
