The work was completed on time and professionally. Our additional questions revolve around the regrowth and additional pruning that needs to be done sometime in the future.

They were not the cheapest bid. Their work was excellent and the clean up left the yard in better shape than when they started. They listened to and followed my directions carefully. They also offered advice on how to shape different types of trees. I'm very pleased with their sevice and will use them again.

Had several large trees & 2 mexican fan palms done in OC, very happy with result. Recommended David's to my condo association in LA and we contracted to do many trees. The crew got the job done in less than 1/2 the time of previous companies, the results are outstanding. A little more $, but worth every penny (and I pinch 'em). Did I mention 42 happy condo owners at my building? I expect to use this company annually at both properties.

The crew arrived within the time frame given. They reviewed the work to be done and the estimated cost with my husband. He signed the authorization for the work to begin. And the crew immediately got to work. The work was done in a very professional manner. Although some of the trees were tall, the crew knew exactly how to do their work and I was never concerned about falling debris or potential damage to our property. The crew worked quickly, and removed all tree debris. The crew had all the necessary equipment with them. They cleaned up promptly and left many areas cleaner than they had found them. Upon completion of the job, my husband paid the crew. The cost was exactly what had been estimated--even though it had been over 3 months since the original estimate had been given to us in writing. We were extremely satisfied with all aspects of all contacts and experiences with David's Tree Service. We highly recommend them.

I had a problem with them and I didn?t know how to explain. I used them and I have used them in the past. I saw them on Angie?s list. They came and the guys were absolutely great. The owner?s son, whose name was Darren came and gave me quote on everything, I told him that I wanted to replace the tree in the middle of the yard and he gave me the price to trim the tree and replace the tree; and if I wanted to replace the tree, they would get posts to secure the new trees. I told them fine. They had time earlier previous day. I told them that I needed two posts for the trees. The guys were great. They took out a bunch of trees. They planted the trees which they forgot to post for the new tree. I told them that they had forgotten to post to the tree. There were a lot of big rooms here and that old tree was going to break. He said that he would go ahead and get the posts. It was several days. I called them in office and told them to bring the post and they didn?t bring them. One fine day I called and Darren came with the posts. I was happy and went to thank him and he asked me if I had paid the bill. I told him that I had paid the bill when they had done the work. I told them that they had knocked and broke some bricks. I didn?t say anything about it because I liked the company and I was going to fix it anyways. I decided to call and talk to his dad because I didn?t like the way I was being treated by the son. He had total attitude when he came with those posts. I had paid them $800 to take a bunch of trees out and I had used them two other times. I didn?t like the attitude of the owner?s son just because I needed some posts to fix some trees. I paid them to apply it properly. So I just got upset. They never called me. I called them twice and told them that I wanted to speak to the owner because I wasn?t treated well by his son. I never got a call back from them. The girl whom I spoke also empathized with me. He was in a bad mood because he had to come back with the posts because I asked for it. I liked guys that they use. The guys are really nice and personable. Just because of the owner and his son I would give a D to the company. The price was little on the high side but they do a good work. They were punctual but they were not in bringing the post. The son had such an attitude. I have used them in the past and I like them. Their workers are outstanding. The owner?s son is not good. They never broke anything before. They broke the brick but I was willing to turn my head on that until he had that attitude. I would never use them in the future. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- update: 11/22/11 The company finally sent me the full amount for the damage do our brick work. Also, they did come out and kill the stump of a tree that had sprouts growing on it.

The main concerns were that no damage be done to the fence, just 3' from the palm, and my other plants, trees, and wooden deck.The guys did an exceptional job. First, there was absolutely no damage to anything. Second, the clean-up was perfect. And finally, the job was completed very quickly so caused litte disruption to the neighborhood.The only thing I wasn't so hot on was the price. This is the first time I've used a tree service, so perhaps the cost was par for the course. The work was completed in about 90 minutes including the clean-up. The cost was $450. Not sure if that is standard for this kind of service or not. So 100% satisfied with the service, but still suffering from the sticker-shock.

Everything went quickly, efficiently, professionally with no hassels.

Quick and correct estimate. Professional work execution. The only issue that we had was that there was some confusion with the scheduling. The central office postponed the work by one day, but the workers showed up as originally scheduled. Otherwise, everything was done in an excellent manner.

The work turned out fine, and I liked them. They came when they said they would come, did a good job and cleaned up after themselves nicely. I did not compare prices, but their price was good. I would rate them highly and would definitely use them again in the future if necessary.

5 workers , took 2 hrs for all removal. completely cleaned all areas including the small mess in the street.

I arranged everything by phone and left them the money and they came out and did the trimming and ground down the stumps for me and took everything away and I didn't even have to be here for them. They were prompt and cleaned up everything so when I came home that evening it looked great. I will use them again in the future.

Darren came right on time to provide estimate and explained work to be done and cost of each portion of work--he's very friendly! Work was quickly scheduled and was completed on time. Workers were nice and did a great job cleaning up when they were done. The cypress trees were leaning close to the house and I was a little worried the house would be hit by falling branches, but there wasn't a scratch on it! We requested that they leave the wood chips from the cypress trees on site and they put them in a tidy pile in a convenient location for us. Would definitely use this company again!

It's been a great experience so far

I've used this company a number of times and I would highly recommend them. They are knowledgeable about many kinds of trees and plants. They arrive on time. Their tree trimmers are polite and competent. They leave my property (and my neighbor's properties) clean and neat after the trimming job.

They were very quick and cleaned up everything very well. My only complaint is you have to be very careful on your walk through the day they do any multiple tree removal, even though the work order said to removed three trees they took out all six of my trees.

Arrived on time with 4 men. I thought it would take a lot longer than it did - they worked very quickly - they were done with everything including cleanup in 2 and one-half hours. So perhaps the price was a little high considering it didn't take that long. They did break a sprinkler pipe when removing the hibiscus shrubs, but they warned me that that would probably happen. Since I turned off the sprinklers, I didn't know about the break until they left. My husband easily fixed this later. All in all, things went well.

They are just extremely professional. They do a beautiful job and they know how trees grow and how they are supposed to be trimmed. They do what they say that they are going to do. This is the first tree service that I have been happy with in 40 years because the other companies would just chop off the branches and I did not understand what they were really doing.

They guys are true tree experts. I needed several trees trim through out my lot and they advice me on what tree actually needed trimmed and what time of the year. There were 5 trees I wanted trimmed and they advise me to hold off where as the other tree services just quoted me what I wanted done. They show up on time and they finish up on time and did a great job on the trees.

Overall the job went vary well.From first call to clean up it was Class A.

I love them. I spent $750 to lift that big coral tree. They have been great all around. There was no damage to the surrounding property and have been very considerate of not damaging my garden or the neighbor’s home.

Matt and his team arrived during the allotted time and were very professional. The work they did was great. Matt informed me that my A/C unit on the upstairs window had been punctured during the tree trimming. He informed me that he would go and get me a new one and even install it for me. He returned later that day with a new unit and even though he had a very difficult time uninstalling the old one, he did, with some effort install the new one. I will refer David's Tree Service to anyone.

We were very pleased with them. Basically they were able to come out to give us an estimate. My wife and I both of us work, neither one of us were able to be home when they were going to do the work but they had told us what they were going to do. When we came back from work, they had done the job which looked great. They had cleaned up completely, taken away the trees that they cut down and the trimming from the other trees. We thought they did the job for a very reasonable price. I would not be able to say about their punctuality because they came here some time after we left to work and finished up before we got home. The gentleman who gave us the estimate was very professional. He shared some good information that indicated us that he certainly knew his business and knew what he was doing.

They performed an excellent job. They arrived on time as promised and worked efficiently making sure to minimize the impact to my business. They were very professional and worked quickly and removed the trees and stumps as promised. The job areas were cleaned up promptly. I couldn't have asked for better. All that great service at a very competitive price. I will use David's Tree Service for home or business again and strongly recommend them.

Crew showed up early, as scheduled, and worked most of the day and did an excellent job. They were industrious, worked well as a team, were polite and responsive to feedback, and left a clean yard.

The pricing is pretty reasonable for what they do. They show up when they say they will, they do the work, they clear everything away, it's all cleaned up, the price is fair, they know what they are doing, and they do a good job. They show up when they say they will come, they come, they take a look at the plants and the trees, and then they do a good job.
