They first sent an arborist to inspect and give an estimate. Unlikely many other people in our neighborhood they did not butcher the trees back to nothing. They did a great job of thinning and shaping the trees. We will definitely use them in the future.

David's Tree Service did a fantastic job removing two large trees in my backyard. They were punctual, polite, efficient and very reasonably priced. They cleaned up ALL branches and debris after the work was done. I would definitely recommend them AND will use them again when I am ready to plant my new tree in the yard

We were extremely happy with their work. We would hire them again without reservations. We are going to call them to come out in the future and grind the stump. Their price was the lowest of the other estimates we received. It was amazing that they were able to remove such a large tree in one truck load. The chipper was powerful and took large branches and small logs. This is a job we wanted done for a long time and it turned out even better than we anticipated.

Darren came out to give me an estimate, he was on time and friendly. After he left, I phoned him and added a few more trees to be removed and he was fine with that. The workers were a bit late, but I was here, so it wasn't a problem. We didn't have any trouble with this company, they did what we asked and the price was great. I would recommend this company.

Initially contacted company via their website. Received a prompt response via telephone -- office staff friendly and helpful; called back when they said they would. Estimator Brian arrived on time with his new iPad. Knew his stuff. In addition to the two trees, I had a laundry list of odds and ends around the property. He created an itemized estimate on the spot and printed a copy for me (printer in truck). Crew of 5 arrived on time, with trucks and all the right equipment. Foreman Matt was top notch. Made short work of the two trees; one a pine, one a very large ash. They did a thorough job of tracking down and grinding all the surface roots. The larger tree was right on my property line, with roots extending into my neighbor's front yard. They took extra care to chop several large roots by hand (rather than using the giant grinder) so that my neighbor's flower garden could be spared. Excellent job of clean-up, including my neighbor's front yard. Also pleased that they accepted credit card payment. Matt had an attachment for his smart phone and swiped my card while I was standing there. I had been agonizing over this job for months -- had thought of using a smaller, mom and pop company. But I think a larger company, with larger and newer equipment, really made a difference -- and saved time. Paying by credit card was an important item for me.

The crew came on a Saturday when the office was closed. They were to thin and trim approximately 17 trees and remove two volunteer trees. Ten of the trees were large. All work was done beautifully and you'd never know they were here. They cleaned up well.

I actually had to leave for an AM meeting on the day of service. However my wife stated that they were prompt (8A) and professional. I arrived home early that afternoon around 130ish as they were just packing up. As I got out of my vehicle one of the tree trimmers greeted me as he made his way to the work truck to pack the work equipment. As I walked to backyard I noticed they had sprayed down the area surrounding the GBOP as I looked closer I notices that they did a very clean job and was advised by my wife that they took their time and chose not use a stump grinder since they did not know if their was any pool plumbing near the pool, luckily there was not and the result was clean. As for the other 2 trees, those were also done with equal care and precision. Shortly after inspection an making my way to the front from the otherside of my property to speak with the project lead, I was greeted by Matt (project lead), he was very professional and greeted me with a smile and proceeded to lead me around to provide details as to what was done. After which time I thanked him and his crew for a job well done and wished him a Merry Christmas. After he left I started to notice other things, like the pool net was on the pool pole, which leads me to beleive they made sure that any debris that had fallen into the pool was removed. Also, on the side, there were two large green trashcans which others have used in the past, but DTS did not. Although I would not have minded, it was a nice sign of being courteous. Also I noticed along with removing the Rubber tree, they also removed the dead thatches of grass surrounding it which had died due to the lack of sun that was blocked by the once giant Rubber tree. There were few other little extras all around the yard which made what I paid worth every penny. I will definitely consider using their services in the future as well recommended them to anyone in need of such services. Thanks again!

They were on time, polite and very professional. He came out on a monday to look at the job and was doing the work by Tuesday. The price was right on with the estimate. They came prepared with a large crew and all the necessary equipment to do the job.

Perfectly, as before (in summer 2008)! I found the estimate to be more than reasonable, and the completed work beyond any criticism whatsoever. I find David's Tree Service to be thoroughly professional and reliable, and I unreservedly recommend this outstanding business as highly as possible. And next time I will definitely NOT wait four years between jobs!

This is the fourth time I've had David's Tree Service out to my property (I found them on Angie's list originally) and they continue to be exceptional -- arrive within their service window, professional and they do a quality job. I will continue to use and recommend them.

Appointment on Thursday to estimate job. Approved estimate. Office called later in day to schedule work for Friday before noon. Crew arrived at 10:30 AM on Friday. Job was completed at 11:50 AM. They did such a good job cleaning-up, you only know they were here by looking at the beautifully trimmed trees.

They showed up when scheduled and gave me an estimate. The crew showed up in force on the day of tree removal when scheduled. and proceeded to remove six large palm trees in less than three hours, cleaned up and left. No screwing around here, very professional and courteous. A minor issue with a ding to a car parked on the driveway from a chip coming off of one of the chain saws, which they were more than willing to pay for and did. Top notch responsible company.

Scheduled David's Tree Service to come out and take a look at the trees for consultation and appraisal. Although the appraiser was late and I had to leave for work he called me and we did the walk through over the phone, which actually worked out very well. The crew arrived on time and it was quite apparent they were used to working together--phenomenal teamwork. Everyone had their job and they did it. They cleaned up after themselves and we couldn't be happier with the results. I keep going out and looking at my now beautiful trees--it feels like Christmas they're so much better--they were way overdue for trimming. I will definitely use this company again and would recommend David's Tree Service without reservation.

Darren was the salesman and did a good job of scoping the job. A crew of 4-5 arrived on time and spend most of day. Darren started the job and then left. But his crew did a good job performing all work they agreed to. They needed to enter my neighbors property who were notified in advance. The crew did a very good job of cleaning up all the debris and my neighbors were pleased.

I gave them a "B" on punctuality b/c they did run a little late since they were finishing up another job somewhere else. But it was nothing major. I will say they were very responsive every step of the way, and when I called on the phone, I did not get a recording. I got a real live person who could handle my questions They were punctual on the estimate, and up front about it. I had gotten other estimates prior to theirs which were - ahem - quite significantly higher than theirs. When I called the other companies back to let them know I would be going with David's, they wanted to play the game of "we'll beat their price." That was after I had asked the other company for their best price. David's explained what would be done, gave me a written, and showed up when he said he would prepared to get it all done in one shot. That included the guys to do the trimming, the chipper to grind it all up and the grinder for the stump. Very professional, knowledgeable, and I highly recommend them. I would definitely use their services again should I need them. Well done David's, and thank you. Kudos to your hard working crew.

David, the owner called the day following an email from me requesting tree service. He was very polite and professional and asked if he or Brian could come by the following day, as they would be in the vicinity. Brian, a certified Arborist arrived on time assessed the job and wrote a proposal. He recommended that I remove the tree that was already causing damage to the block wall and said that if they ground the stump it would kill the roots and prevent further damage to the wall. When I complained that the place would look naked and that I would miss the tree and the privacy and shade that it provided, Brian made recommendations to solve the problem. He suggested trees and bushes that were fast growing, drought tolerant , and would not endanger the wall. Two of which could be used as bushes or allowed to grow into trees. As he was knowledgeable, a straight talker and offered a reasonable price, I asked him when they could start. I checked out the trees on line, and they looked great. I called and asked if they could bring the trees when they came to remove the tree, stump and bush. I received an invoice by email the next day. The crew of four was there in a few days. The crew boss informed me that they had not brought the two bushes as Brian said when they went to pick them up at the nursery, they were not up to par and that he would continue to look until he found good ones. The crew were great and efficiently completed the original job. They said they would return when they had the other items and they I could pay them when the job was completed. Two weeks later a beautiful 15 gallon Australian Willow and 2 lovely, 15 gallon, bushy Silver Sheen bushes are gracing the exterior of my covered patio. Before leaving, one member of the crew even tidied up the surrounding area, so as to give the newly planted members of the garden a well ordered home. while the other, cleaned up after their work. I am very happy with my new view and look forward to entrusting any further landscaping to David's Trees.

Got an estimate from David's Tree Service and then scheduled the work, They brought a large crew and all the neccesary equipment. The job went quickly and was done very professionally. They left everything neat and clean. It was a pleasure to deal with these people and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

The crew was professional. I am very particular about my garden and they were careful not to inflict collateral damage to the surrounding plants. The trees look graceful and better proportioned to the surroundings. I will use David's Tree Service again.

When they arrived, the supervisor and I walked around the house I told him what I wanted done to each area of the house. You could immediately tell that the workers were very experienced at this type of work. What I really liked, is that they kept me in the loop the entire time. I would be asked to look at an area already cut or trimmed, or I was asked to verify what needed to be done in a certain area. I really liked that! You could tell that the workers wanted to do a good and accurate job for their client. This is a very professional company in every respect, from Darren, the supervisor who came out to do the estimate, to the workers who did a great job! I also liked the fact that Darren is a certified arborist, so he knows the right and wrong ways to trim trees, etc. I would highly recommend David's Tree Service to anyone who nees tree service, vine trimming, etc. done! We have two large pine trees that need trimming, and we will use David's in the future.

I would recommend them. They had that thing out in an hour and a half, stump and all.
