They were prompt and thorough.

It went just as planned.

The workers came on time, were very careful in setting up and did excellent work. They were the most polite workers I have ever met and were careful about protecting our wood floor when bringing in equipment. Ask for Angel to do the work on your house -- he is really experienced and nice.

Appt scheduled for Monday 8am - scheduling problem job didnot ger started until almost noon. I am very please with the completed work.

Relatively little to say -- crew came as expected on a Monday morning and left at the end of the day with the entire job done to satisfaction, leaving nothing behind. Air sampling results were comunicated both verbally on the next day and in writing by mail.

Work took three days and each day the work crew was exactly on time waiting as I arrived at the property which was currently vacant. The foreman and crew were friendly, gave me updates and mentioned anything that was noteworthy that I should know. They were very accommodating and eager to do a good job. I was able to call the office and add some additional drywall to be removed for an additional fee at the last minute and that work was completed without the overall time being longer than expected. My inspection after the work was completed and the all-clear given revealed that the work was done as had been discussed and the area was clean looking. Only minor snafu was that the wrong phone# ended up on the paperwork making it difficult for the person who did the air quality test after work was completed to contact me to tell me he was delayed. There was also a scheduling issue where the work crew told me he would come at 2-3PM but he then did manage to call to tell me he could not come until about 7PM. However the testing was done and results available the following morning as expected so overall I remain very happy with the work and would use them again if I needed further remediation.

The area rep, Peter Landry, was very hard to get a hold of. In fact another rep had to cover for him. I had to call several times to get an estimate. They were highly recommended by 3 HVAC companies that I had gotten estimates for replacing my old gas furnace. Which is why I stuck it out. Otherwise I would have just moved on. The work itself performed was flawless.

Synergy saved me over $400 compared to the next-best bid. They came out for a free estimate and were able to do the work the very next day. I got the all-clear to remove the seals and re-enter the house the following morning. They did leave some supplies (tape, plastic sheets) behind in my house, but I can't complain about free stuff. I did discover one small spot where a duct was not secured properly, but they came back out at no charge and not only fixed the problem, but added insulation. Overall, a very positive experience.

It went very smoothly from start to finish. We are having our furnace replaced, thus the old furnace in the hallway closet and it's attached ductwork and vents are being removed. Several HVAC companies came out to look at the old furnace and bid on doing the new project. Every HVAC company suggested Synergy as the best company to use. I arranged a bid appointment via the phone, Mr. Peter Landre came to our home and after about 5 minutes of looking he knew what needed to be done. I got the bid and contract in the mail and in email form quite promptly. I arranged for the removal the following Tuesday. Workers were on time, clean, professional and completed the work in just under 2 hours. There was zero damage to my home (walls, paint, etc.) and I feel confident everything has been removed in a safe and appropriate manner. The cost was pretty high for what amounted to less than 3 hours of work, thus the grade of "B" for price. However I would not hesitate to recommend them to a neighbor or friend.

I was very pleased with the work. The ceiling looked great once it was done. It was ready for skip coat and paint the next day. I was pleased with how quickly they were able to start. The only negative point was that they workers broke a florescent bulb, and left the broken bulb pieces in a bathroom sink.

I contacted them and they sent over a quote later than I was expecting. I was also getting quotes from a few other places. The other places actually came out to give a quote were as this company just kind of got a brief description over the phone. They said they would put together the quote, but I felt more comfortable with the other company that actually came out to the house. So, we didn t choose to go with them.

It was very difficult to get a hold of Peter Landrey, the area rep for Synergy. We played phone tag several times, but when I had a heating company handle the contracting, Bruce was able to get him on the phone immediately. The men who came out to perform the work were nice, but left asbestos tape on two or three of the shafts. When I called Peter to ask about the work left, he stated that it was not on the work order and that I should take it up with Bruce at the heating company who handled it. I called Bruce, who was surprised that the work was not done and unlike Synergy, took full responsibility for the error, rather than getting defensive and deflecting any mistake. Two more men came back at the end of the day to finish the work, thanks to whatever conversation Bruce from the heating company had with Peter at Synergy. When Dave from the heating company suggested that the shaft in the garage (20 ft) needed to be removed because of asbestos, I tried contacting a couple other asbestos removal companies, but in the end went with Synergy out of a lack of Angie's list options that met my area/criteria. Bruce handled the subcontracting. One issue that came up during its removal was that one of the people working told my husband that there wasn't very much asbestos on the pipe. This begged the question of why they removed the whole thing. After a flurry of phone calls and frustration, Peter from Synergy called and left a message stating that there were several (three or four) joints that did indeed have asbestos tape. In the end, I don't know if I would use Synergy again because of our customer service experience, though the men that did the actual work were fine. Dave from The heating company did find one small piece of asbestos that was not removed, but he went ahead and got rid of it for us, as it was tucked away in a wall where the men from Synergy obviously could not have seen it.

We had leaks in the asbestos-covered duct work of out heating system. We needed to remove the ducts to have it repaired. After getting 3 estimates, Synergy was lowest by $100 and had good ratings on Angie's List. They provided an estimate over the phone and sent an official estimate in the mail. They scheduled service without a deposit. They crew arrived on time and put plastic up to create a negative pressure zone. I'm not sure it was exactly air tight, as I pointed to some holes in the plastic, but they didn't seem too concerned. They painted over ducts and walls they could not remove. The air sample was done by an independent company and we had to leave the plastic up overnight to wait for the results. We called in the morning and were told it was safe to take down the plastic. It was a lot of plastic to dispose of on our own and won't fit in our usual trash can, so I'll have to take it to the recycling center. We received records in the mail of the air testing and documentation of hazardous waste disposal. I'm hoping everything was done right!

My contact was Mr Peter Landry. He was very punctual and professional in providing a bid and explaining what would be done. The office staff were helpful & friendly. I had to change the work day a few times but Peter made the process easy. On the day of work their crew were also friendly and completed their work quickly and professionally. It took less than hour from start to finish. Having them do the work meant that I did not have to deal with a hazardous material disposal situation that is also costly.

Their estimate came out to be exactly what we were told it would be by the heating and cooling company, so we decided to use them. I was very impressed that they did the air quality test as usually companies only do this for commercial work. When I went to look at the work they did I was amazed at the time and work they went put to protect our living area. If ever needed, we would use them again with out a doubt.

It went well. The workers were prompt and seemed to know exactly what they were doing. Work was done in less than a day (as estimated) so I could go ahead with my furnace installation.

The estimate response and process was quick along with quick work scheduling for 8 am start 2 days later, but at 7:30 they called to say wed been pushed to 12:30, which I find a bit annoying on such short notice, esp. when you are trying to schedule for a before work key hand-off. Also the estimator implied wed be given an all clear after the air test was over. This is not true, they have a "no news is good news policy" instead and we later spent about an hour calling synergy reception over and over to learn if the house was clear and being transferred to different voice-mail boxes until someone finally called us back to say the test was clear and explain their "no news is good news policy." Again, that seems pretty inappropriate given the big deal they make out of the air test and the asbestos work in general. They quoted $500 cheaper than alliance for same work and they were recommended by all out contractors as thorough, nonetheless, they could work harder on the follow through!

I think they offered a decent price and they came with two or three guys. They were finished in two hours. They were quick and efficient. They were minimally invasive and while they were working I could not hear any noise through the registers at all. They also arrived right on time.

Excellent, they came out right away and tested everything. They let me know the next day that our linoleum was OK. They scheduled the work very quickly and came on time and finished early. They tested the job site afterwards and let me know the next day that everything was OK. Everyone I interacted with was very nice and let me know what was going on.

They gave best quote at beginning, showed up on time, finished in one day and completed the work as promised. One detail: even though they warned me that the tape they use might damage paint or finish, I was disappointed that their tape removed finish from my hardwood floors in a couple spots at rooms' doorways.

Synergy were a pleasure to deal with. Both the removal crew and air quality test were punctual, completed the job on time and communicated well. Based on all the hype about asbestos removal, I was surprised by the price but the access was very easy.

We were happy with the service, except that they were an hour late.

After purchasing a home in the Sunset, we decided to replace the old gravity furnace in the garage. The heating ducts were insulated with asbestos, so we first had to have abatement work done. Synergy was one of two outfits we spoke with. The prices were more or less the same, but Synergy impressed us with their thoroughness and professionalism. The initial consultation was very informative, they were responsive to follow-up questions, and they completed the work in a timely and satisfactory manner. Since then we have used Synergy to conduct a lead test as well.

The two-man crew arrived on time. They completed their work while I was not home. They cleaned up and I could hardly tell they had been there. The first time they were scheduled to come, I had to cancel early in the morning because my three-year-old son was ill overnight and I thought the cleaning would be too disruptive to his recovery. I called a half-hour before the crew was to arrive. The person who took my call was very understanding and rescheduled the crew for the next week without any penalty or extra charge.
