When they finished the cleaning, all carpeting looked like new!

Gus was amazing! Not only did he text me and provide an ETA before heading my way, but he was very professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately we recently had to put down an 18 year old cat who had multiple health problems and was urinating in different corners of the house. Needless to say, my carpets were in need of some TLC. I can honestly say that my carpets have NEVER looked so good-every last spot was removed (and has yet to resurface)-and it is fluffy and odor free. I smile every time I walk into my home and see how beautiful my floors look. Gus will be the ONLY person I use moving forward to care for my carpets. He truly deserves every great review on here. For my business, their estimator man was almost an hour late, did not call, office did not call, and I called to remind them, and they did not know. Off course, I was not available and someone else had to get out of a meeting to take care of him - quite disrespectful. If they are tardy and unprofessional before doing business, the odd they will be any better after making a deal - is null.

Gus was outstanding. He arrived on time, went right to work, did an excellent job. He was finished within 2 hours and cleaned up. He had me inspect all areas and offered to come back if there were any concerns. Carpets look great. I would definitely use Carpet Wizard again and recommend them to others.

Tried to contact numerous times and no one would answer phones. They sent me a note through Angie’s List and they asked for my number and still never called me.

Wow cant say enough about this service provider. If you want it done right then schedule a appointment with Carpet Wizard. Gus came out and did our carpets, he made a carpet I was ready to have replaced look like new, Stellar job. If you want a true professional who is interested in doing the job right then you want Carpet Wizard and only Carpet Wizard. My wife has sensitivity to fragrances they use a solution with no fragrance happy wife happy life. I love it no funky fragrance smells for my wife or our bird to have to deal with. Simply the best I have ever used I will have them back in about six months for another cleaning.

The service provider gave me a written estimate of work and charges. He said, "Don't sign it until I'm finished and you tell me that you love my work." Well, we loved his work. He was very careful to move furniture that could be moved and work underneath heavy furniture to extent space was available. He spent much extra time on the stairway carpet which was nearly black in the middle traffic area. Someone later commented that they thought we had replaced the carpet on the stairway, it was so clean! He also succeeded in making many pet stains disappear - but he warned me that the only way to remove pet stains permanently was to replace the pad underneath. Fabulous work, done surprisingly quickly, courteous and neat. I will certainly call Carpet Wizard again the next time we get our carpets cleaned.

We've had him here a couple of times before. He is very thorough, gets out all the stains, and works extra hard to get out tire tracks left in the hallway by the wheelchair. The carpet looks like new and stays clean-looking for a long time. Excellent work and will definitely continue to use him.

Gus called & asked if he could arrive before our 3:30 appointment. I agreed to this and when he arrived I showed the areas to be cleaned and he went right to work. When he finished the master bedroom he asked me to inspect it. My Chow Chow sleeps in one spot in this bedroom and there was a dark spot from that area. Gus got that spot out and other spots as well. When he finished the house, he asked me again to inspect the other areas. All carpets were spotless as well as the spots I was worried wouldn't come out. Gus and Carpet Wizard did a great job and in the future I will always use this company. Thanks, Gus!

It actually turned out really well. They did a prespot spray before hand. They did move some furniture around. I wasn't really that that has to be done. They actually said that that would be something that they would do. Upholstery cleaning turned out really well. I checked calling in to get the person in the office to schedule and kind of going back and forth. First impression that part was kind of annoying. I had to kind of basically tell you know I need you call me we go over the calender to see when we can get this done. Once they got here and started doing their work it was excellent. He kind of walked through with me and said you need to do this and you need to do that. He kind of told me everything he was doing each step of the way in the process. Price is reasonable.

Great! I have used Carpet wizard a few times. Gus does a great job every time. I wouldn't use anyone else. He makes himself available to work with your schedule. He is professional, on time, and affordable.

The provider was highly skilled and knowledgeable about carpet cleaning. He gave me a run-down of what's best to use on a stain when it first happens. He prefers the use of a wet cloth dipped in salt water to treat any stain. He would prefer we leave the stain removers to remove themselves. The most difficult stains were those where I had used stain removers. My dog recently acquired a small cut on his front paw and tracked blood on my carpet. I dipped a rag in salt water and the blood stains came out completely. I was amazed. So not only did the provider do an exceptionally good job, he gave me exceptional advice about stains and spills that may happen in the future.

The whole process was so easy. Gus arrived on time, did a very thorough job, was so helpful. I'm so pleased with the results and will definitely recommend and call again.

Will definitely use them again. They were right on time (a little early even). Thorough, efficient and quick. Really nice.

Martin did the work. He's a well spoken, young man who takes his job seriously. There was equipment malfunction and he had to come back a second day. The quality of the cleaning was very good.

The experience was so, so and I was a little disappointed. They sent a young person and I expected someone with a little more experience. I probably won't use this company again. I probably will use a larger, more established company. I purchased a Big Deal and they were right out and on time. He was well mannered. I just have an older carpet and I felt I did not get my money's worth. The ad was for three or four rooms. I have an adjoining dining room and living room so it seems like there should have been another room included that he could have done, like the stairs for free or some throw rugs for free because I was not going to have them do another room. I ended up paying extra for throw rugs and he went on and did the stairs, but it took some talking. He even said it was the easiest job he had ever done and was in and out. I moved all the furniture for him but he was not willing to negotiate. I think if I was working with the owner he would have been able to look at it more reasonably and negotiate the job because basically I paid for just one big room. I think I would have paid for a more established company and maybe paid a little bit more so I felt really good about the job that was done. The carpet was wet and I know they have treatment now that does not soak my carpet because that is not good for my older carpet. I have five rooms upstairs that I want done and if they had worked with me a little bit I would have called them. I like to use small businesses and I was looking for a company that I really felt knew what it was doing and that I could call back and get a more reasonable deal. They were not horrible, horrible.

Everything went great! Better than expected!

I arranged for these carpet cleaners to come here today, between 3 ? 4 pm. That was their suggested time, and I agreed to be here. So I waited here from 2:30 until 4:20, but no one showed up. So I called them, and asked when they would be here. The [same] guy I had spoken to when I made the apointment started making excuses, one after another, finally saying he had sent someone out to my address, and promising that he would be right here. Then he changed that, saying someone had called, and canceled my appointment! I told him I was the only one here, that I had been waiting, and that I never called back or canceled. I also told him that no one else knew about our appointment, so I did not believe that someone else had pretended to be me, and canceled the appointment. I can understand making a mistake. But I HATE it when someone lies to me like that. He asked to check on his carpet cleaner guy, and said he would call back. I said OK, that I would wait. He finally called back, and told me that they didn't have any record of our appointment! I asked how he had my phone number then, since I gave it to him only once, yesterday when I made the appointment. No answer, just rambling comments that he couldn't contact his worker. This guy's story changes as he talks. I asked him how he stays in business? He said Angie's List gives him lots of leads. Well, to h*** with Angie's List! This is 3 for 3 contractors I got off of Angie's List that have been either sub-par, or who didn't come back to finish the job once they were paid, and now this guy ? who didn't even show up, and then lied about it. What a waste of time. Unreliable contractors are the worst. I will now call Angie's List. If they do not delete this business from their list of contractors, then I will cancel Angie's List, and whenever I see Angie's List on line, I will let folks know how inept and unprofessional they are.

Everything looks great. The price was higher than I expected.

On time (early actually). Very kind and professional. Quick; only took about 45 minutes. The deal was for one chair and one sectional. Since I did not have a chair he cleaned the shag rug. The rug was extremely dirty and he warned me that it might not work. It worked a little bit and it was enough for me. I probably would have thrown the rug out if he hadn't been able to clean it as much as he did. Very accommodating! The sofa came out so much cleaner and I was very pleased. It was covered in pet fur, dander and who knows what else after 2 years with 2 dogs and a cat. It took longer than 24 hours to dry but that was no big deal. Will use again in the future.

Gus is fantastic---he does an outstanding job at a very reasonable price. Best carpet and upholstery cleaning we've ever had in any location, and over the years we've tried all the big-name companies. None compare to this guy. He's very personable, efficient, returns calls promptly, shows up on time, does a thorough job, and we highly recommend him for any cleaning job. This man truly cares about his business and maintaining the outstanding quality of his work. We have small messy children, large messy dogs, and a lot of foot traffic. Gus gets it all clean and fresh with a minimum of fuss. He charges an extremely fair price, and doesn't try to hit you up for extra services or products. This is the second time we've used Gus, and we can't give him a better recommendation than referring anyone with cleaning needs to Gus's Carpet Wizard business. He's located in Hayward, but he doesn't blink at driving to Half Moon Bay---and arriving on time, even during pumpkin season!
