I was extremely pleased with Gus's work. He was punctual, gave a fast estimate and completed his work on time. He paid extra attention where needed - we did not have to supervise or tell him. Was very detail oriented and meticulous. Would highly recommend him.

Moving into a house we just purchased, I called Gus to clean carpets in 3 bedrooms and closets. He was willing to come on one days notice!! He arrived a bit late (called to inform us that he had been delayed) and was able to remove several stains and help renew the appearance of our carpets. He was professional in his work... maybe a little bit expensive (compared to mailer promotions)... overall I was satisfied with his work and most likely would use his services again.

I thought he slightly overcharged but the work seemed to be okay. I think I had to encourage him to go after some extra dirty spots instead of him pursuing them on his own. I thought it was more expensive than ads I had seen for the work.

I called and it was very easy to get a Saturday appointment. Gus, the owner, arrived timely, estimated the work and upon mentioning Angie's list immediately applied the 20% discount. He worked very hard for 3 hours and did an amazing job. Carpets were dry by nightfall, even though it wasn't a warm day. He got our stairs cleaner than anyone had done before. We'll happily use him again.

Gus the owner was extremely pleasant and concientious. I was having a bad day and he was very kind and considerate. He wanted to do the best job possible and he even used a booster in the living/dining room without extra charge. He gave me a very good estimate and he did a superb job. When he was finished you could hardly tell that I had lived there for more than 5 years. My landlady, upon inspection, said that she thought she would have to replace the carpet, but she could hardly see any damage at all. She immediately asked me for a referral to his service. I would highly recommend him and if you had an A+ rating, I would give him that in all areas.

I found Gus on Angie's list and called and he answered the phone. We arranged the date for him to come and he called that day to say he would be a few minutes late. He arrived within 10 minutes of our appointment. He toured the house and gave me a very reasonable offer. At the last minute I asked him to also clean the couch and an area rug which he did with no problem. He and his assistant were very courteous and personable,. Their work was efficient and they finished the job very quickly and without disrupting my life. The carpets, rugs and couch looked wonderful! The next day we noticed an odd smell and it didn't seem to go away. I waited a few days but it was still there so I called Gus and he came out the next day to check it out. By the time he got here the smell was almost gone and it must have been due to the couch not being completely dry. All is fine now and I can't recommend this company enough. I will definitely have him back to clean the carpets again.

Very well. The rugs were not pet soiled, but had not been cleaned for almost 20 years. They look almost new now. Great work, good communications, and a very prompt turn around. Thanks Gus.

Gus came by and gave us an estimate. We had everything done: the wall to wall carpeting, individual silk and wool carpets, sofa upholstery, and grout removal in 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. He and one of his staff worked extremely hard while they were here. The house looked great after they were done. We had him come back and do more individual carpets after his first visit. I would definitely use him any time we have carpet cleaning to do.

Gus arrived promptly as scheduled and bent over backwards to provide friendly and expert service! He was cheerful and reiterated that if I needed him to come back to re-clean anything to give him a call. He takes great pride in his work and is a huge Angieslist asset! I would call him back in a second (in fact, my landlord called after we moved out to ask who had cleaned the carpet because he wanted his name for the future!).

Could not have gone smoother.....highly recommend, especially to landlords.

My experience with Gus was great from the beginning. Happened to know about Carpet Wizard from Angies list and scheduled an appointment for giving estimate. He was quite frank and gave us a reasonable estimate. On the day of cleaning he came on time and since we had everything ready he was able to get to work quickly. Cleaned upstairs and stairways first and then cleaned downstairs. Took about 1.5 to 2 hours for the entire job. We were very pleased and were happy that we could pick a good company for carpet cleaning.

Gus Gonzalez came out and gave me an estimate about 10 days in advance. He gave me two options, dry chemical cleaning or a wet steam cleaning. Either way it was to be the same price. On the morning of the job he called half an hour in advance to verify. Gus had asked that we have all small tables, benches and chairs out of the way. The large pieces like the sofa, recliners, beds and chests had to stay put. We discussed Scotchgaurding--but the price for that service was very high. He said it would add about 2/3 more to the price so I decided to pass. First Gus vacuumed, then he raked the carpet, then he sprayed a sort of shampoo, then he used a big round stiff brush to scrub the carpet and finally he put a huge round dust mop sort of attachment on his cleaning machine. He paid special attention to the heavily soiled doorway areas. It is now slightly damp and looks like brand new carpeting. He cautioned us to stay off the carpet until it thoroughly dries--in about an hour or so. Super job, Gus is a nicer guy and the whole house has a nice fresh smell. I will definitely use Gus again. I just hope he stays with Carpet Wizard. By the way, I nearly used Stanley Steamer since they had so many good reports, but decided to get an estimate from Carpet Wizard since someone else had written up a report recommending them and Gus. I am so glad I did use Gus--I saved a bunch of money and can not imagine anyone could have made my carpets look better!

Gus has cleaned our carpets three times (in the past year and a half) and once for a friend of ours. He ALWAYS arrives on time. He had given me a quote over the phone based on number of rooms to be cleaned and my description of known stained areas that would require additional attention. He cleaned my carpet for the original estimated price and did not charge anything extra for stain removal (which there we quite a few, more than 15). I love Gus for his honesty and integrity. He takes GREAT pride in his work. I have had many other Carpet Cleaners of the past 25+ years and Gus was the only company who when he came in, did not try to "up sell" the job, charging extra for pretreating stains, stain removal, pet odor treatments, etc. I would recommend Gus to anyone looking for professional carpet cleaning. HE IS FANTASTIC! Best Dry cleaning method I have seen. Carpets remain clean for at least 6 months and dry within 2 hours. Excellent, excellent Service. P.S. I'm not a relative of his.
