They were fantastic. Very polite, very service oriented. I had moved most of the furniture from the carpet before they came, but they helped me with two pieces once they got here. They then went to work on the carpet. It looks great, even in the high traffic areas where it was pretty dirty. The entire process took less than an hour. When they left, they gave me their card and said to call if I should notice anything I was unhappy with. Great follow up! I will absolutely use them again in the future and will recommend them to others.

Really happy with this service. They were very flexible on the timing and did a fantastic job for a reasonable price. No bait and switch or high-pressure tactics (something I usually have to deal with with services like this). A few weeks later and the carpets STILL look fantastic. We highly recommend!

I called Gus at 6:45 am to leave a message hoping I could get on his list of call backs first, he answered! He came two hours later. We had an emergency. Our dog had left some serious damage to the carpet while we were asleep that night. Gus said he would be there at 8:15 and he was. He looked at all the stains, and the two rooms, and gave me an excellent price. He spent time and elbow grease on the stains, and them steamed cleaned the carpets back to looking new. I was very happy with him, his work and his price.

I called Carpet Wizard because we were expecting guests and the carpet really needed cleaning! I had put this off till the last minute, and when I called, I needed it done ASAP... :-) Gus answered the phone when I called, asked me to describe the space and gave me a quote on the phone. He said he would be there by 5:00 PM the next day, since he already had a full day. The next day, he called and said a spot had opened up, could he come in earlier at 2:00 PM or so, which I was fine with. Gus remained in contact via text messages, telling me when he was leaving the last job. They arrived a little after 2:00 PM and Gus reconfirmed the estimate. He and his assistant did an excellent job getting the heavy use area marks out, and even managed to get out some stains left over from the Zero-res guys we had used about 8 months ago!! Gus is pleasant and friendly, and we will certainly be using him again! Highly recommended!!

Gus was about 45 minutes late but called and said he was stuck in traffic. When he arrived he confirmed the quote he gave me over the phone and immediately began working to protect our clothes and furniture. The entire job was finished in under three hours and was done in a thorough and professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend or use Gus again.

Arrived on time. Very professional. Carpets and rugs look great now.

Called for information. Gus responded promptly to the phone call, gave a rough telephone estimate based on what I told him, and booked a cleaning date for me. He called when on his way and showed up right on time. His estimate was just $5 more than the phone estimate and so reasonable that I asked about cleaning a recliner that hadn't been cleaned since I bought it 20 years ago. That was just $30 more. Gus worked quickly, efficiently, and left the carpet and the chair looking perfectly clean. Absolutely will call him again next year and refer him to friends and neighbors.

I was extremely pleased with their service. Mr. Gonzalez was very pleasant and friendly. He was prompt and professional. He did an excellent job for a very reasonable price - detailed. His helper was learning, and was very conscientious and hard working. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again.

Service was great! We were to go on vacation and wanted our house cleaned right before the holidays. Gus answered the call in the morning and was able to come out later in the afternoon! Him and his helper did a great job cleaning all the carpet in about an hr. We even had a broken dining chair that he offered to glue back together for me! Carpet is looking great! Will definitely be calling him back next time.

Only the master bedroom carpet was actually cleaned inside the house. The rest of rugs & loose carpet were cleaned in & outside the garage area on a tarp & plastic drop sheets. Gustavo & crew did an excellent job cleaning & arranging the rugs & carpet. It was a huge challenge to arrange all carpets & rugs in the garage area to clean & dry efficiently. They were extremely patient, got everything cleaned. I would highly recommend them for a carpet cleaning job.

The experience was great even though it started out rocky. Gus called 35 minutes before the appointment time and said he was having trouble with his truck. He said he would be about 45 min late. He arrived about 45min late but was very apologetic. Hey we all have had car trouble. The condition of our carpets was terrible. Stains and just plain dirty. We had just purchased the home and we need the carpets to last a little longer. Gus said he would do his best. He pretreat and spotted the really bad spots and the carpet came out looking wonderful. I would recommend using Gus and Magic Carpets again. Thank you

This is the 2nd time I've used Carpet Wizard. Gus is easy to schedule appointments with, even for Saturdays. He came as scheduled and the carpets are clean and soft again. I've used a few difference services over the years -- I'll stick with Gus. Gus's work dries fast/well and the dirt doesn't come back (unless of course, the cat makes a new mess or hairball).

I called on Tuesday to arrange carpet cleaning for my rental property and scheduled a cleaning for Thursday morning. Gus showed up on time and gave me a great estimate. I had questions about my hardwood kitchen floor that he was happy to answer. Gus is honest and very professional. He told me how long it would take and offered to call me within 10 minutes of finish so I could run some errands. I was very happy with the cleaning. The previous tenants had some heavy traffic and soiling.The carpet was cleaned and complete within his timeframe. Very happy with the results.

Couldn't be better. We will use them next time.

I have to say, very impressed with Carpet Wizard. Gus answered phone on weekend and set appointment up on the spot. Reviews were so overwhelmingly good that I just went with him - no price comparisons (I never really do this). They did a GREAT job - removed stains other services could not. They were also VERY reasonable vs. other companies I have used in the past. I am a loyal customer now and would recommend without hesitation to any member of Angie's List.

They were very good. We had a dark rim around the rim of the carpet and he got that out very well. They did a very good job. I would definitely use them in the future.

Gus answered the phone immediately. Made appointment for next day. Responded on time. Did a GREAT job of cleaning up dog pee stains. Finished in one hour. The downside: Communication problems in the phone call: I had to spell out the name of my street eight times, and he still didn't understand. I finally texted it to him. He didn't explain to me what was going to happen, any choices involved (like steam vs chem). Didn't move any furniture at all or protect any of it (I noted in some reviews for other companies that this was done). Took more time wanting me to explain how my iPad worked than the job he was going to do. Confusing instructions on what to do afterwards. Best thing was the price: $155.

Called the Carpet Wizard and my call was returned within the hour by Gus, the owner. He provided an estimate based on my description of the work needed. I appreciated his honesty with making sure I understood it was an estimate based on my description of the condition of the carpets/fabrics; he let me know often he arrives and finds more work is needed than originally described. He arrived at 9AM as promised and did a walk thru to confirm the estimate and how long it would take. The only thing different from the original estimate is that we added our chaise to the order. The fabric was so worn; we did not think it could be cleaned. The price we were charged was consistent with the quote, and based on other places I contacted, very fairly priced. Gus completed the work within 2 hours. Our living room looks great, and the love seat no longer smells like our dog. I was surprised how quickly everything dried. We were back in about 5 hours later. Our experience was consistent with other postings for the Carpet Wizard. Gus does the work himself, so when you book, you know exactly who will be coming. We will definitely used the Carpet Wizard again and recommend Gus without hesitation.

On Friday afternoon- as we were in the final stages of cleaning and moving out of the house we had recently sold-our champagne color carpet was stained when a Tumeric capsule was picked up by the vacuum cleaner and exploded-resulting in a serious stain. My husband started trying to clean the stain and I turned to Angie's List for help. I called Carpet Wizard and Gus answered the phone. He was amazingly helpful and understood my panic and concern. He gave me emergency instructions on how to mitigate the problem and said he could be there in two hours. In less than 2 hours Gus arrived and spent the better part of the next 2 hours working to remove the stain. His approach was professional, kind and understanding. We could not have asked for a more amazing response from anyone. At a time of significant stress, The Carpet Wizard-Gus- provided prompt, professional service and the price was more than fair.

They were very responsive. Customer service was clearly a priority. He (owner) put solution on a tough stain. The solution had to set in. He actually called back the next day to see if the solution worked.
