We were having some unexpected guests visiting on a Sunday so that Saturday morning we decided that the carpets needed a cleaning. Having two large constantly shedding dogs, vacuuming alone was not going to cut it. Besides, we had more that a few spots throughout that house that have crept up throughout the years that we had learned to ignore. Called Carpet Wizard and spoke to Gus and after explaining that I was having guests the next day, he said he would more than happy to get me on the schedule. He arrived on-time, quoted me an awesome price and did a great job. After he was done he walked me through the house explaining the trouble areas he had found and what he did to correct them and gave me some advice on dealing with certain types of stains. I was very satisfied with the work he did and would definitely call on them again. Thanks, Gus.

I purchased carpet cleaning for 3 rooms through Angie's List for $130. The stairs and hallway were extra. The guys showed up on time, completed the job quickly, were careful with my furnishings. The carpet was cleaned and fresh and looked great when they were done. I will use them again and also recommend to friends. I tried this company because they were on Angie's List.

Gus was by far the best, most thorough and thoughtful carpet cleaner we have ever hired - took the time to do a great job, was pleasant and punctual, and concerned for our safety (kids, hoses, stairs, wet soapy floor, etc.) Highly recommended!

Overall they did a very good job. They were late showing up, but called to let me know. In addition, because they were a little late, they did an additional hallway at no extra charge. There were two people doing the job and were very friendly and polite. The only reason i didn't give them an A was because some of the stains did not come out. They worked very hard, so perhaps the stain was just too set. I wish I could give them a B+ because I was very happy with the service. I definitely would hire them in the future.

Gus and his employee were awesome! They were very customer oriented, ensuring that I didn't pay more for my required as I had originally chosen one of their online promotionals. Gus explained that buying two promotional deals was actually way more service than what was needed. After doing the math, he was right! The results were more than I expected. He even removed spots that a previous cleaner was unable to remove. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and suggest that anyone, especially if you are a Service Member or Veteran of the Armed Forces, choose the Wizard for ALL of your carpet cleaning needs. You will not be disappointed. I received more savings than expected! I will definitely use the Wizard again!

The service went okay. They wouldn’t move any of the furniture so he cleaned around everything. The open areas turned out decent but I wish they would have moved the furniture.

Having light-colored carpet and being on the picky side I was 100% satisfied with your service. CARPETS look the best they've ever have having used other carpet companies in the past ruining my carpet leaving him wet up to 4 to 5 days you come into my house in less than an hour the carpets were perfect damp and not wet and they Dried four hours and they feel and look amazing thank you so much awesome job. I gave their contact information to a friend and I would use them again. They showed up on time and they did an excellent job. I was happy with the outcome. The whole thing ended up costing me less than I anticipated so I was happy.

The place looks much better! The price was great. There were a few spots that showed up a couple of days later and he stopped by today to fix them. We'll see if they stay away. Not sure all stains can be removed.

Appointment for cleaning set up for within one week. Texted about an hour before the appointment to confirm. Arrived on time and explained everything including the drying time needed. Cleaned three rooms plus stairs which hadn't been cleaned in many years. The carpets look great!

This was a return call to clean my hardwood floors after a job on carpet cleaning. Mr. Gonzalez called to confirm the appointment. Arrived on time. Explained the process and choices. Helped with moving some of the furniture. Cost was a little more than I expected, but the cost was because the floor needed more time as 2 coats were needed. Gave me advice about cleaning the floors to keep them nice and The floors look great!

Gustavo is a wizard indeed. His technique in stain removal is superior. I have a small home 998 sq. ft., 2 toddlers, and heavy traffic everywhere. The carpet is 10 years old, and worn with spilled coffee, juice and milk, especially in the dining room. Gus gets my carpet looking new. After the carpet dried, some traffic areas were a bit noticeable. Gus came back and rue leaned those super heavy traffic areas, and they are as good as new! Gus is awesome, well priced, and a consummate professional. I trust no. One else with my carpet!

Absolutely great service today! This is the best carpet cleaning we've ever had---beats all the well-known national chains we've used in the past---in every possible category. from price to quality. Gus and his son are extremely personable and comfortable to talk to. They are very conscientious and attentive to detail, neat and efficient, and don't try to add on a bunch of additional charges over the quoted amount. Gus gave me an estimate on the phone, scheduled a convenient appointment, and they arrived right on time, even though they were coming from Hayward to Half Moon Bay during morning rush traffic. Another plus was that they cleaned the large area rugs in place, without insisting that they be sent off the premises at exhorbitant charges. We've never had a carpet cleaning service willing to do that. The carpets and upholstery are spotless, and their equipment seemed to remove more of the moisture so everything is drying quickly. We have 3 large golden retrievers in the house, plus a 5-year old and an 8-year old and three adults, and I can guarantee everybody tracks in dirt, spills stuff, and in the case of the dogs---slobbers and sheds on the carpet. They got it all beautifully clean and fresh. I highly recommend using these two great guys at Carpet Wizard, and will recommend them to our friends.

The previous occupant of this house had pets and I have pet allergies. There was a lot of oder. At fist there was a mix up as to the scheduling of my appointment. Gus made sure come the next day and was very apologetic. Gus and his son were very professional. They explained a lot about pet oders and even

Gus arrived and examined the kitchen and gave me a quote of $190....BUT......he was very honest and told me that the result I wanted was not possible. The grout was actually not white... not as dirty as I thought. I was very impressed with how honest and sincere he was. He could easily have gotten me to hire him to clean it. The same thing with the fireplace. He told me again honestly that because it was porous material the stains would reappear after cleaning. Oh, and then he gave me several suggestions about what to do with my kitchen and fireplace. So go figure.......I try and hire him for 2 jobs and he would rather be helpful and HONEST then take my money. WOW! When was the last time that happened! I will be contacting Gus again for ANYTHING I need cleaned in my house.

Spoke to Gus on the phone initially and received a verbal quote from him based on the information I provided about my residence. On the date of the cleaning Gus was running a little late, as can be expected in his line of work, and he called ahead to let me know he was running just a little behind but that he was in route. We Gus arrived he was a very pleasant and personable individual. We did a walk through of the house and discussed all the area's to be cleaned. My house is a split level house with many different levels and lots of stairs and true to his word Gus agreed to clean the carpet for the agreed upon estimate. Gus did however recommend a booster to added to his cleaning solution that would assist in getting the carpets super clean for a minimal additional cost that I agreed to. Gus and his helper cleaned the carpets from top to bottom and I have to say that this has probably the best the carpets have looked since it was new. Gus and his helper completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and the carpets dried in a reasonable amount of time. We have lived in our house for over 16 years and have had the carpets cleaned many times but have never been as satisfied with the outcome of the carpet cleaning experience as we have been with this experience. We will definately use Carpet Wizard in the future for all our carpet cleaning needs and recommend them to all our family and friends.

Gus and Martin arrived on time and were very professional. I showed them the rooms that needed to be cleaned and discussed which furniture needed to stay and what could be moved to the garage. They started immediately on the carpets then the wood floors. I was very happy with the results as they were immediate. Since we are moving out of California, we won't be able to use their service again. I highly recommend them as they are professional and affordable. The only complaint I have is when my husband spoke with them a week prior, we were told they would move the furniture. I have physical limitations and am not suppose to do this. Otherwise, my husband would have worked from home that day. When they arrived, I was told in order to do the hard floors, the furniture had to be moved. Due to some of the items, we left them in the room. I ended up moving everything except for the sofa and a small chair which they moved. I then asked if we would be able to walk on the floors after they were done and I was told yes. Well, after they applied some sealer, I was then told we couldn't walk on the floors for two hours and would have to wait 24 hours to put the furniture back in there. So, I had to keep my senior pet in a separate room which stressed him out. Also, due to moving the furniture, my arthritis flared up and I was black and blue from the chairs hitting my legs.

Carpet Wizard did two rooms. I don't think they were willing to go to the third floor and do any cleaning. They did a good job. It didn't cost me more than the $130 for the big deal purchase. It went well. Nothing extraordinarily bad or good that they did. They did what they had to do. They were on time and got the job done.

Carpet Wizard did a GREAT job. 2 guys made our carpets look like new in about an hour. They were quick, efficient and professional. They were a little bit late to the appointment but one needs to give some leeway due to the nature of their schedules and jobs (you never know how dirty their previous house may have been!)

Very professional--------courteous, prompt. fast and thorough. We had someone else come over to give us an estimate (not from angie's list). They were late, sloppy looking and the van they arrived in looked like it was worth about 500 bucks (if you were gullible). So we said thanks but no thanks and went to Angie's list. First experience as an Angie's list member - it could not have gone better. Gus was on-time, made zero attempts at "upsell", set our expectations appropriately, and finished within 2 hours. I would recommend Gus to anyone who asked and will be using him (yearly) for further work.

They were about 20 min late but they texted me 15 min before the scheduled arrival to let me know. Carpets were heavily soiled and their work was awesome, I am very happy with the result. The cost was about what I expected for the amount of work that would be needed.

They were running late but they texted me 15 minutes prior to the appointment time to let me know. They ended up arriving about 20 minutes after the appointment time. The carpet was heavily soiled and matted down; walking across them barefoot was like walking outdoors. The guys spent about 90 minutes on the job, going over the entire carpet twice. The outcome was excellent; we can now walk across it without getting our socks dirty. Some stains (red Kool-Aid, for example) they can't do anything about, but that was not unexpected. Anyone who tells you they can get stains like that out of carpet is not being truthful -- and Gus didn't make any promises he wouldn't be able to keep. The cost was about what I expected for how much work would be needed. Future maintenance cleanings should be less expensive. Overall, great job!

The service was great. The carpets looked amazing afterwards! The only issue I had was that he was 2 1/2 hours late. However, he did call at the appointment time and let me know that his truck broke down and he would be there as soon as he could. He did a great job of keeping me updated and gave me a discount for it. He was very professional when he arrived and did a great job with everything.
