Gus was very professional. He gave me an estimate on 9/6 and I scheduled him for 9/10. I had to reschedule for 9/12 and again for 9/15. Gus was flexible and able to work with me around the issues causing me to have to reschedule. Once he and his crew arrived, they did a thorough job cleaning everything. He even wished my husband and I luck on our move to our new home. If I was staying in the area, I would definitely use Carpet Wizard again!

They are great. The price was reasonable. The owner showed up. He is very hands-on. He cares very much about the quality of his service. The work was excellent. I am scheduling him to come back every couple of months. The guy is obsessive and I love it. I would recommend them.

We came home from a long vacation and saw our house with new eyes and realized that there was a lot of cleaning and repair that needs to be done. My husband and I work long hours and just don't have a lot of time for DIY projects anymore, so I hopped onto Angie's List to start research on cleaning our carpets and fabric sofas, which hadn't been done in almost 5 years, and our grout, which had never been cleaned since we bought the house almost 9 years ago. I did not seek multiple bids from various providers, but gauged an average price from reviews and read reviews for cleaner details before determining I would try Carpet Wizard first. I knew what I wanted to pay and what the typical rates were looking like, and unless the quote was a complete surprise, I was happy to save time and book with one quote. Gus contacted me to set up a time to stop by to give a quote. We arranged this by text. Gus accommodated our request to meet with him on a weekend since we both have difficulty finding time to be home during the weekdays due to our work schedules. After the quote, which I felt was very fair given the amount of time it would have cost my husband and I to try to do the work ourselves (with less professional equipment), we scheduled a work day. Gus arrived on the scheduled weekday with his co-worker, Martin, and they promptly got to work. Both men were friendly and professional. I didn't think our staircase would look ok because it was so dirty, but it looks great. Our sofas are a light linen butter yellow color and we know they will never be really clean again, so the improvement that Carpet Wizard made was notable and great given what they had to start with. There was a large juice stain on one of our dining room chairs that was gone afterwards and the chairs look great. Our area rug, which is a medium pile zebra print had a lot of grime on the white areas, which look clean and clear now. But what was most impressive was how clean our grout was after they finished. We sealed the grout ourselves afterwards so I was up close to every inch of the grout afterwards and will say that I was delighted by how far into corners and along the kitchen cabinetry kick boards they went to really clean the grout. I don't know that I would have been that meticulous if I tried to do it myself. They cleaned grout where I never noticed there was grout. They also buffed all the floor tile which really made it all look fantastic. Remember, this is grout that was near white to start and was almost black through much of the kitchen when Carpet Wizard arrived. All is light and bright now. Finally, if it is of concern to the women out there...I was home alone with Gus and Martin and felt no concern about this at all. Very nice people with pride in what they do.

I would strongly recommend this company. When I first called, I wanted to check on what cleaning chemicals are used. He was very helpful in providing me with the company who makes the cleaning product, and followed up with me more than once to make sure I had gotten the information. Gus wanted to not only make sure that I was getting what I asked for, but also wanted to make sure all his customers were being taken care of with a good product. We didn't get tons of detail from the MSDS sheet from the company, but we were satisfied that it wasn't going to harm us. Gus came over to clean the carpets himself and he was a great houseguest. The carpets look GREAT. Our carpets are well worn and we have a dog. We are very happy with Carpet Wizard and will be sure to have them out again.

On time.Very quick.Over all a good job.

He apologized for taking more time than usual but insisted he could get it clean for our guests next week. We had many stains and he removed everyone one of them. The carpet is over 20 years old and looks brand new. He is professional and worked diligently, even in the 100 degree heat! He gave us advice on how to keep our carpet looking its best. I will be recommend him to anyone and will call him back in six months to keep it fresh.

Gus was professional from the first phone call. He immediately gave me a date and time - and he and his son came out to our house in Millbrae the very next day. They were early, but sat in their truck outside and did not ring the bell until exactly the time of the appointment. The truck was also nice, with their company information on the side. Gus answered all of our questions thoroughly and patiently, gave us a written estimate with a good price. Then he and his son worked for more than two hours and the result terrific. We feel as if we have a houseful of brand new carpet. Both men were polite, professional, friendly and industrious, and obviously dedicated to quality.

They were very helpful, trustworthy, and understanding. They did a great job and the work was done right away. They left everything very clean and tidy.

Great. From the get-go it was smooth sailing. It was the rare experience of everything working without a hitch: 1. Checked Angie's List for provider. 2. Called & scheduled appointment. 3. Two courteous gentleman arrived on time & voila I had new carpets again. All at a great price.

My carpets were dirty and I was almost thinking of replacing the carpets had it not for Carpet Wizard whose work proved to me that my carpet was good quality and i did not need replacement. This guy is just awesome !!! hands down very happy that I found him and I will be calling him again. He worked tirelessly for more than 4 hours since my carpet were really dirty !!! very happy with him and i paid him for his quality and the person is truly a gentlemen and really passionate about his work and service.

Had some issues getting the appointment scheduled and then they didn't show up on time. The work was pretty good but they weren't able to get out some stains, which was a little disappointing.

It really went great. Gustavo was very pleasant. He offered wet or dry cleaning for the same price, but recommended the wet, which we got. I'm getting ready to sell my house to move, and wanted a good job prior to putting it on the market. He had given a quote before even seeing it, and even though he under-quoted the job he still only charged the quoted price (I gave him a big tip to make up for it :)!).He did a great job, very concientous. The house smells great, the rugs are really clean. I watched him work and he really went over the same areas multiple times, using a pre-spray first. I've had 3 (including Carpet Wizard) companies clean the carpets here since I moved in, but this is the first one I'd recommend to anyone else. I found him on Angie's List and now I see why he had such great reviews. He really earned his money, and deserves a gold star in my opinion. I'd have him back next year if I weren't moving out of town. I can't say enough. Nice. Polite. Clean, modern equipment obviously in good shape. Showed up on time, and really did a great job. I'm glad I used Angie's list to find a top notch company. It really paid off for me this time, so I want to pass it on.

Our off white carpets were cleaned to perfection. I did not expect the results we got and was extremely pleased. Thank you Gus, couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

I always call or text Gus and he goes over to the units and does everything I want without me being there. I send him a checklist of what I want done, and it's done. If there are ANY issues after, he graciously goes back and fixes whatever it is I want....GREAT company....I use him all the time....and will continue to do so.

The guy was awesome and very thorough. He took a lot of pride and care for what he did. I had a good experience.
