Ian arrived propmptly on Saturday morning,performed the work quickly, cleaned up andleft. He and his crew are very pleasant and professional. HIs prices were reasonable. I would definitiely use him again and will recommend him to my friends.

Arrived as promised. Work was neat. Connected and tested the dryer for me. Price less than estimate.

When our kitchen was remodeled, the refrigerator outlet was mounted outside a cabinet in a separate electrical box protruding from a cabinet. We needed to have the electrical outlet moved into the wall behind the refrigerator to be able to fit in a new larger refrigerator. Ian came by on time and gave me an estimate and proceeded to do the work asked for. He came across some problems with access to the wall due to limited space inside the wall but persevered and kept to his estimate even though it took longer than he thought it would. Everything was cleaned up satisfactorily. I would use his services again for future needs.

They arrived within the time frame given. We discussed what exactly needed to be done. They began they work. During the course of the work, a complication arised (due to my fan not their work) and they gave me several options on how to proceed and were very patient while I made my decision. They completed the work, faster than estimated even with the additional complication. They cleaned up the area thoroughly, replacing my daughter's stuffed animals and even changed a light bulb. They were extremely courteous and very professional. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

He was very prompt. I was happy with his service. The service took only about 15 minutes. He came the very same day that I called, I was very surprised with his prompt service.

The work went very smoothly. It was an extenasive job in that I live in a condo which has metal studs so running the electrical cable to the various outlets and fan connections was a time consuming job. They had to make holes in the drywall to access the areas where the cable needed to be strung. Since it was a condominum they had to use metal cable rather than the simpler romex so this took additional time and effort. They were extremely efficient and their work caused very little inconvenience. There was minimal damage to the drywall, the drywall was saved and replaced in the holes that were made and all mess was thoroughly cleaned. Ian and his crew were extremely professional, friendly and arrived on time. When I found there was a bathroom light that was not working after they left I called and they immediately arranged to come out and fix it. I recommend this company highly and will definately use them again for any additional electrical work I have need of.

Once he started he finished when he said he would although he ran into quite a few problems. More importantly he stuck to his quoted price even when it was clear he found more trouble than he had bargained for. Came back a week a later to fix a problem that we didn't know we had originally. He did a great job. His guys were professional and cleaned up after themselves. Did an outstanding job for us. I will definitely have him take care of any future electrical needs we may have.

Ian got the job done as asked in a efficient and fast way.

They did a good job and gave sage advice where needed. Replacing knob and tube in a plaster and lath house is messy, but they kept the work area clean everyday, in fact they cleaned up after themselves before moving onto the next room. As others have said, Ian is an all around good guy.

Overall a great experience with on time arrival and efficient problem resolution. We discussed the problem and agreed on a plan of action which was completed as agreed. Ian and team were also friendly and courteous to the tenants.

Ian was on time and professional and pleasant. He brought two other electricians with him so that the job went quickly and smoothly. He had to come back for the Fios job and did not charge me until the entire job was complete.

We are recent homeowners and found that Angies list has been extremely helpful. Our first mission was to get some electrical fixed and we had three electricians from Angies List with three different quotes. South Bay Electrics quote was half the money as the other two. When Ian told us the estimate, we eagerly asked, When can you start? He surprisingly replied, Right away. As Ian worked he found other issues and kept to his estimate even though he had to do twice the work. He also informed us of future electrical projects we might want to consider, which I thought was very informative. He worked with my husband, showing him how to fix simple problems that could come up later. He was prompt, polite and efficient. We will call South Bay Electric first before any other company. I highly recommend them to any one needing electrical advise. As an example of their work, as Ian left he noticed the door knob needed to be fixed and offered to stay and fix it. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to have many more as our home buying to do list gets longer.

It went great, Ian did exactly what he promised(and even some extra)for the price agreed upon. He was more than willing to share his knowledge and teach me a few things I didn't know. He is worthy of any home owner's trust, and is now officially my electrician.
