Description of Work: I have been a customer of this company for eight years and I am so disappointed with the service I just received. They installed faulty equipment and refused to come back and fix it and after 46 phone calls and no return phone calls and being told that they would finally fix it and setting up an appointment and then not showing , I filed a small claims suit and they finally returned my money. I have referred this company to many of my own clients and for anyone who is going to use them I would be very careful.I am not sure if this was a one time incident but very disappointed and will never use them again.

 + -1 moreThis was the 2nd year I've used them for my wood burning stove. It's been the same 2 guys both times, and one if them is the business owner. They are polite/courteous, but also work quickly, and efficiently as a team. The removal of the bricks to access and clean the insulating "blanket" inside the top of the t-top was something the previous sweep I used didn't do. They asked if I wanted a 1 or 2 year follow-up call, and did the 1-year as I requested - which was nice because then I got it done in September before I needed to burn again for this winter. I'll keep using them. Their price might be a bit above average, but then you get well-above-average service, so no complaints from me.
Description of Work: The chimney sweep service was for a 1-story 8" stove pipe to a wood burning t-top stove. The 2 men work in tandem, one on the roof, the other at the stove. The stove pipe cap / screen is cleaned, the stove pipe brushed/swept, and bricks are removed in the t-top so they can access and clean the insulating pad. The guy working at the stove has a vacuum running with a very large HEPA bag installed during all of this. I've never smelled or detected any ash dust inside the house escaping from the vacuum/bag. They also clean the glass door inside and out. I think they were in and out in 45 minutes.

Description of Work: I had my gas fireplace cleaned and inspected, and my dryer vent cleaned. The fireplace looks brand new. They were on time, helpful, and I will definitely use them again. I have already recommended them to my neighbors.

They were very mindful of my room furnishings and took pains to keep things clean. He was great to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his company, The Flue Doctor, to anyone seeking a chimney inspection and cleaning.
Description of Work: I wanted my chimney cleaned and inspected so I would know it was safe to use this winter. Chad pointed out to me that my particular wood stove installation was not to code, was a "slam installation" with no stove pipe present in the chimney. This situation resulted in a higher price for the cleaning due to the additional labor required to remove the wood stove from the fire box to completely clean the system. He further cautioned me of issues that might be uncovered in the cleaning that could present safety concerns. Upon cleaning the chimney, he showed me the cracks in the flue liner that would present a potential fire danger in the future. Chad and his helper quickly completed the cleaning of the chimney, the fire box, and wood stove.
