Description of Work: The service representative was most helpful and friendly. He not only serviced the intended garage door (42 Cedro), but he took the time to inspect the garage door at my home (3877 Aetna Springs) which is only about 2 miles from the intended location. I feel that is great service above and beyond what was paid for. Many thanks goes to that Representative.

I purchased the $89. special for a garage door tune-up, however shortly after I purchased it, while I was away at work, the police came to my house as a neighbor reported that someone had opened up my garage door and drove a car inside. My garage door was 20yrs old. For the security of the home, It was decided to replace it entirely and the code is a rolling code, so it can only be opened by me. Their clerk made a mistake over the phone is saying they could apply the credit, however they could not as it was a entirely new opener. They did an excellent job and I feel much more secure.

Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for the $89 Garage Door Tune-up with Quiet Roller Replacement from Door Pros Inc. A company worker arrived at my house at the scheduled time, but informed me that I already had quiet rollers on my garage door and that it did not need a tune-up as it was relatively new. He said that the noise was simply the motor and that if I wanted a quieter one, I would have to replace it. He did not do any work on the garage and was only at my house for about 5 minutes. He said to contact Angie's List to request a refund.

Description of Work: overall i suppose it went well. door pros came to my home for an evaluation, and they told me the rollers already installed on my door were similar to what they would install as part of the deal, so i asked if they could install the keyless entry pad instead. they didn't have one matching my door opener on the truck, but said they would call back once they spoke to their supplier. a few days later i received a call stating their supplier didn't make a keyless pad for the model of my door opener. My garage door doesn't require service or any other feature, so i'm asking for a refund for the deal.

Description of Work: Door Pros installed a new Lift Master garage door opener and did a great job. Technician showed up on time on the day I had them scheduled and was in and out withing 90 minutes. He could have cleaned up a little better, but it only took me a few minutes to vacuum the area. I will use this company again as the needs arise and would recommend them for installation and service for your garage door needs.

Description of Work: "The service professional came in and determined the purchased roller replacement on my particular door was not really necessary (a nice, honest assessment). More important to me was the door maintenance that come with the deal: my automatic safety reversal was not working. The service professional then suggested to simply swapping the work he provided in the deal with a replacement of the safety sensors (I had previously determined they were broken), to which I agreed. With hooking up, various adjustments, and a courtesy lubrication job and inspection of the door, the job took about 1 hr and concluded in a fully functional (safety) and quieter (lubrication) door as I had hoped for. The professional also pointed out some concerns on the door (e.g., a location where a bracket was starting to break). In all a great experience, thanks to the flexibility of the service provider. "

Description of Work: They replaced my garage entry key pad and serviced and put new rollers on my large garage door. They came exactly when they said they would, called 15 minutes before arrival and Josh was very polite and professional. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Description of Work: So far my experience with this "DEAL" and Angie's List has been nothing short of a disaster. I contacted you before to tell you the garage door service had not contacted me. You replied and asked what I wanted to do. I said I preferred to get the work done or wanted a refund. To date - nothing! I called in to Angie's list and was put on hold for that dept. I could not wait and had to hang up. I have yet to be able to hire one person through Angie's List after several months of membership. The first contractor did not show up after I made arrangements for my son to be at my home. Then the contractor showed up on another day without contacting me first, so of course no one was home. I tried other people. The next one declined the job as he was too busy. I am really disgusted with Angie's List and would like a return of ALL my money. Joyce Neifert 707-481-0151

Description of Work: Very professional. I would go with them again, however I was disappointed that the loud noise after the roller replacement was still present. I had mistakenly thought that their service would fix this (this was mentioned in their ad). I was told I would need to replace my entire garage opener for that to happen.

Description of Work: After coming to replace squeaky wheel special on Angie's list we found wheel replacement would not help much if any. After inspecting door I elected to have spring replacement also for an additional charge. Door Pros did an excellent job and tuned up door so that it makes very little noise. Nice work!

Description of Work: My garage door stopped halfway up. Door Pros came out that afternoon & relaced the gear on the top of the motor.
