I called on Tuesday morning, and was able to get an appointment for Wed. afternoon. Since it wasn't an "emergency" I thought it was acceptable, and when I asked, they told me a service call was $60, but that was waived if service was performed. Wed morning around 11am, I got a call saying that someone could come out early, as they had a cancellation. That unfortunately didn't work for me, so I kept the 3:30-5:30 window, which I had previously set up. 3:30 rolls around and the employee named Miguel rolls up. I didn't get the phone call that they told me I would get about 30 minutes before he arrived. I met him in the garage and began explaining the situation. I had my garage door spring replaced 3 years ago (by a different company), and by the looks of it the rollers on the ends of the rod which hold the spring had shifted, meaning they weren't properly tightened. While explaining this to him, I started to feel a little uncomfortable with his abilities. I was almost wondering if he was an apprentice and the *REAL* employee was going to show up in a minute or two. Miguel just seemed un-sure of what to do next, or when to start working. I felt like I had to explain to HIM what to do. ***For a obvious problem like this, I expected the worker to look at the garage door system, and in 10 seconds tell me exactly what was wrong (as it was a VERY simple fix, I just don't have the tools or experience to do it myself).*** Miguel went to get his tools, and as I was walking inside, he asked if I wanted a quote. I kinda surprised, as no parts were broken and I doubted that it would take more than 30 minutes to fix the problem, so I didn't expect to have to pay much more than the service call price. I said sure, and he looked on his phone for a quote page. He initially quoted $170, then scrolled through whatever page he was on and changed it to $120, but made sure to add that I still get a 10% discount for being a return customer (my mom had work done by them about a month earlier). At this point I explained that I thought that was a little overpriced, but to start working as I needed the garage door fixed. I went inside and called the company who had originally replaced my spring 3 years ago. They quoted me $135 for a full spring replacement, including the cost of the spring and the service call (I paid $125 3 years ago, so I felt that was more than reasonable). That phone call took about 5 minutes. I walked outside to watch Miguel work. He was finished in less than 10 more minutes (15 minutes total), and then after cleaning up his tools, he lubed the garage door wheels up/hinges. I talked to Miguel and explained the cost difference, and how I could have called that company out and had them just replace my spring for what he just charged me which was 15 minutes of work. He said that they normally charge $175 for the door spring alone, and $150 for labor, so he doesn't know how the other company does it for so cheap, however his springs are warrantied for 10 years. At this point he had done the works so I paid for the service (came out to 110 with the discount), and Miguel left. Miguel was at my house for less than 30 minutes...

The process took a couple of days as we asked for more than was part of the special but he had to get extra parts etc so we were happy with the service.

I was very impressed with their initial response time, courtesy, and willingness to help. However, I spent a fair amount of time talking to the tech about looking into a replacement panel on our current garage door that was damaged and he said he would look into it and apply the $89 I paid for the unneeded roller replacement. I never heard anything back from the tech or Door Pros and I have yet to receive any actual service for the money paid. I emailed Josh at Door Pros more than two weeks ago and have yet to hear back.

I answered their coupon here Angies List for replacement of garage door opener, replace the rollers and lube and adjust the door. They were really nice to deal with. They showed up on time and did everything as promised. My door works beautifully. I was considering replacing it but it works really nice now. They installed a very nice LiftMaster door opener. I am completely satisfied. They are really nice to deal with. I am very glad I chose them.

Straight-forward. Technician was able to install the external box with no difficulty and instructed me about its operation. Nice to have this extra means of access.

Josh Camilleri was on time, gracious and very helpful. He went above the call to duty and replaced sensors.

My garage door is a lot quieter than ever before. The job was done pretty fast and they were flexible meeting my schedule.

They had to reschedule twice which was somewhat frustrating, but now that the job is finished, my garage door works much better, and ultimately I was very pleased with the service.

We bought a coupon two weeks ago...expecting we were going to have to wait at least a month before service could be provided but the company came out one week after contacting them. On the day of our appointment were prompt, friendly and professional. They immediately identified that we needed a spring replacement then demonstrating how it was ready for replacement with an offer for a new spring and free labor (if we did it during the original coupon offered service)...it took us a minute to decide to go ahead with the new spring because we were sure the spring needed replacement and we planned to ask the company about that anyway!. We were told that it would take about an hour to complete the service, but it was more like 30 minutes. Criteria that I do check out with any contractor before adding them to my own list of contractors for future business: (1) They have their own tools and equipment, and parts ready to install (they aren't asking to "borrow" tools or a ladder, etc.) (2) They politely decline a glass or water or cup of coffee when offered (they come prepared with their own water, coffee, etc.) (3) They've done a thorough clean up of the work site when producing the invoice (no nails, screws, sawdust, or parts boxes or old parts left behind). All three criteria in this instance get an "A +" My only disappointment is that they didn't have business cards that I would have proudly shared with ALL my neighbors on my block

Overall the service was excellent from the beginning to the end. They were very quick and efficient and only took about an hour to complete the service. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!!

We are very pleased with Door Pro and the technician, Ronnie. They did exactly what we expected, were prompt and neat, provided a great service for a reasonable price and discovered several problems with the garage door and the opener that the original installer messed up. Its simple.... Great Job at a great price, quick response and great workmanship. I would highly recommend Door Pros for any garage door related needs.

Everything went very well. We knew that one of our springs was probably bad, and we always wanted a keypad, so we purchased the Angie's list deal for the inspection, lubrication, and keypad. They came out quickly after we purchased the deal. I can't remember the guy's name, but he was extremely professional, very helpful, and walked me through everything he saw and did and answered questions about garage door use and maintenance. We were the ones who brought up the fact we thought our spring was bad, and he actually admitted that it did not look old, but that the reason it looked the way it did is because it was the wrong type of spring for that door. He told us it could be a problem, but did not push us to change it. We requested it be changed and he agreed to change it at no extra charge for the service, just the cost of the spring, and he gave us an additional discount on the spring because we are members of Angie's list. After he was done, the door operated great--very quiet--and we were grateful for the peace of mind that the spring wasn't about to fail and that the door was in good condition.

I appreciate professional quality service, and that is exactly what I received via e-mail, on the phone and in person. The appointment was scheduled in less than one week, with a time window between 1500 and 1700 hours on a Friday. The service tech arrived about 1600 ready to begin work. His attitude was pleasant and professional. I asked questions about maintenance and lifespan of my existing equipment and received honest and candid answers. There was no up sell or pressure at any time, nor was there any price change beyond what was discussed or agreed to. I had my expectations on approximate costs to replace springs, and the pricing offered was better than I had expected. A parts discount offered at the time of service allowed me to replace/improve the springs on both doors and stay within my maintenance budget. I asked about replacement of the original 'legacy' door opener and if it could be reconditioned/reused by others. I was told that some name brand units such as Lift Master were sometimes refurbished and resold, but other off-name units are junked. I decided to keep my opener until it dies, then replace it with a new unit from this company. Battery backup will be nice. In summary, I have found a company I will continue to use into the future as well as recommend to others.

I am thoroughly pleased with the servicing to my garage door. Ronny was on-time, professional and fixed my garage door so that it runs smoother than when I first got it! What more can I say? I would definitely recommend them to others!

I called the company Monday morning, 12/5, to ask if they could replace my damaged garage door. Josh and Ronnie came to my house in a couple of hours. We discussed the type of door I wanted. He described how similar the door he could provide was to my original door and noted the differences. We discussed the type of windows he could include. He said they could match the paint and would paint the new door as part of their service. He noted that I should replace my broken control pad. He described the processes that would be involved and who would be doing the work. Although they could replace the door within two days, we agreed it would be more convenient for me for them to come Thursday afternoon, three days later. That would give them time to install, at their shop, the windows that I wanted. Josh suggested that he install windows on the other garage door so that the doors would look alike. He gave me the itemized invoice with prices and total. There were no additions later. Two workers arrived Thursday afternoon with the new door and matching paint. After installing the door, they painted it. They even painted the entire door frame, it had been damaged in several places. Josh promised to bring the key pad, which he had ordered for my system, the following Monday. The work was done in a timely fashion, they removed the old door and cleaned up the area and departed just before dark.

Had an appointment between 2:00-4:00. Received a call in the morning asking if I could make it earlier. I could no. and was told that it would be closer to 5:00-5:30 p.m. I said fine. Received a call about 6:00 p.m. saying it would be about 7:00 p.m. I said no, I would call and reschedule. Called and left a message. No return call. Called a week later and was given an appointment the next day between 2:00-4:00 p.m. No one ever showed up. No phone call. Very very disappointed.
