This was an Angie's Big Deal. It was okay, but nothing special. They had to change the appointment date because of another job that ran overtime. They guy did install the keypad as promised, but the tune-up consisted of squirting some lubrication on the rollers. The keypad isn't the best either, but you get what you pay for!!

I bought the Big Deal for a garage door tuneup plus a keyless entry pad. It took several weeks to schedule. The day of the appointment, someone from Door Pros called and wanted to move the time an hour later. I had been given a window of 11-1 and had arranged to be home during that time but I needed to leave by 2:15 PM so moving the time to 2:00 PM didn't work for me. The woman who called didn't sound pleased but said she would try to get the technician there by 1:30 PM which would allow exactly the 45 minutes necessary for the appointment and would call me by noon to confirm. At 12:50 PM, she called to say the technician was on his way and would be there by 1:45 PM. I asked whether that would give him enough time to complete the work, and she assured me it would. The technician was great. He worked quickly and efficiently so that he wouldn't hold me up. The free keyless entry pad that came with the deal wouldn't work with our older garage doors but he was able to repair the one the former owner had installed. I felt like I got more than my money's worth from him. However, had my doors required some sort of repair or had the repair of the keyless entry pad been more involved, I'm not sure that he could have finished in 30 minutes. Although I would use the company again because of how good the technician was, it was irritating to arrange my schedule to accommodate the date and time Door Pros wanted to come and then have them try to change the time and risk cutting short the timed needed.

The service was great. They were on time and very professional. I appreciated how flexible they were as well. At the time that we originally scheduled them to come, I actually had a family emergency and couldn't be here. I completely forgot to call them and they showed up, but they were more than happy to re-schedule with me. While they were installing the quiet rollers, we found that the whole garage door engine needed to be replaced. We were able to apply what we paid for the coupon to the rest of the job. They did it very quickly and efficiently, and I would recommend them.

The technician showed up on time, did what was requested, and did a little extra by using his tall ladder to throw in a couple of light bulbs. Wound up having to replace some srpings when one snapped shortly after he tightened it up. They gave a bit of a hard sell on additional services but to be fair we need those services eventually so it wasn't unwarranted. Only advice I would give provider is not to oversell - if you show up on time and do the requested job well people will probably call you back. We anticipate having them back to do additional work in the future.
