Called the company and they came same day! Leo did an outstanding job! I have crawl space between floors so I thought it would be straightforward, but Leo and I found out it wasn't easily accessible. He instead routed the wire through the ceiling and walls to get to a light switch. This was all done at no extra cost. I patched the 2"x4" holes myself afterwards. Leo was very friendly throughout and cleaned up after himself before he left.

Very professional. Accurate estimate. Work was completed on time. SDS has a great sub that completed all the dry wall work. Work was done well. Some of the lights have been flickering and SDS returned promptly to replace the lights. Overall pleased with the work and would recommend as well as use again.

The actually had to crawl under the house and ran dedicated 20a cir uit from the service panel to the AC outlet. I first met with Josh for the second quote...and thank god I did because his quote for the work needed was $1200 LESS than his competitors in Glendale!! Yikes...what a difference. Like Josh, nice guy easy to talk with. He sent out a couple of guys that did a great job, they were professional, cleaned up, very nice...did a great job! They have pretty good reviews on other sites.

They told me what they needed to do. They would break the wall and they wouldn’t be able to repair it. It’s odd to me because why would they open the wall if they’re not going to repair it. They had all the information on what I was asking but it was so much money for me. They were good in responding. I just didn't like the information.

Arrived on time. Estimates on target. Second time we used them. Terrific service and workmanship!

they did a great job for the prices quoted which were much less than another electrician - we had jacuzzi lighting and heater problems for years that other electricians and jacuzzi repair company could not permantely fix - wasted alot of money and time until sds figured it out and fixed it.

It was a difficult project considering the unique layout of my living room but it was a very pleasant experience. If we didn't like something, they were flexible and made adjustments to our satisfaction. They worked efficiently, were professional and friendly, and spent a lot of effort ensuring that everything along the way met our needs.

I've worked with SDS two times now, and I really appreciate their professionalism, quality and attention to detail. Josh is amazing and is totally honest and straightforward with his quotes and the amount of work that needs to be done. His crew knocked it out of the park. They were on time, clean, and did a great job. All around would use again.

Welp, this is the first bad review I've ever felt compelled to write on Angie's List, but I want to save anyone else from wasting as much time as we've wasted on this company. Several weeks ago Josh from SDS came out to give us an estimate on moving an electrical wire and installing a riser so the DWP could move our main power line about 12 feet. Josh seemed knowledgable, and suggested we install a new electrical box at the same time (he said it would cost nearly as much) and gave us a verbal estimate of around $1200 that he said could only be firmed up once we had a spot check report from the DWP. Fair enough. We got the spot check report and called back to have them come back out and reassess the job to give us a firm estimate to compare with the other companies bidding for the job. My boyfriend and I both had to call them several times to get any response, and once we finally got ahold of them, they declined to come back out, but instead asked that we scan and email them the spot check report and they would take the details of the job from this and give us an estimate. This seems strange, but given that Josh did come out a few weeks before end assess the property, and given that SDS had good reviews on Yelp and Angie's List, we went ahead and scanned the docs and emailed them. Several days later, Gary called and gave me a verbal estimate well over the initial estimate: $1500 for just the rewiring and the riser, and $2700 for the new electrical panel, rewiring and the riser. When we called again to ask Gary to put that in a proper written estimate with the details of the job (what kind of amp? piping? wiring? anything?), he declined to send us anything in writing, saying there were no details ? it was a package. Ummmm... what's IN the package, Gary? This is absurd. And the fact, that SDS has been in no way "Same Day Service" as we've had to essentially stalk them to get a response is just icing on this sad, droopy cake that seems to not give a hoot about their customer service.

Mike and Leo (his picture is on the website) was ontime as scheduled. They assessed the situation correctly. One of the circuit breakers kept tripping/shut off because my tenants used many appliances. Mike and Leo listened to us and recommended 3 new lines and 3 outlets to be installed in different rooms in the rear of the house. The work was done in August 2014 and it was hot. They did a good and clean job. I have two homes and have dealt with different contractors on many situations and I?d say that Mike and Leo were professional and so was the work. The price was determined in advance and there were no surprises. So far, the circuit breaker works fine and only tripped when my tenant plugged in an air conditioning unit which they were not supposed to anyway. Mike and Leo were pleasant as well and I?d use their service again in the future.

These guys are terrific. They're super professional, friendly and are the most knowledgeable electricians I have ever used. They added an additional neutral wire (for my ancient dryer) to a 240 circuit they had already installed for no additional cost. I am very pleased and will definitly use them again.

The panel upgrade was completed without incident. After city inspection of the upgrade, the only requirement was the addition of a label for each circuit - which was performed. The workers were punctual and professional. The problem surfaced as they were ready to leave and I asked when the stucco would be repaired. Communication with Mr. Osepo became a bit strained as he insisted that it was "customary" that stucco or wall repair is "never" a part of the panel upgrade - to which I replied: " Maybe to you, not to me as I do not routinely upgrade my electrical panel". After I made a partial payment of $1000.00 with the note that the balance would be paid after I deducted the cost of repairing the stucco. After receiving an estimate of stucco repair, Mr. Osepo agreed to repair the stucco. The stucco was repaired satisfactorily and the final payment of $800.00 was made. In hindsight, I was remiss to not insist upon a complete and detailed estimate of the work to be performed. He was not professional for not providing a detailed estimate of job. The price was "average" as I have seen many ads with the same price. Some, however, did note that wall repair was not included and others did not. Since the work was performed in a totally satisfactory manner, I would use the provider again, with the proper contractual procedure. My only regret was the time and energy expended to finally complete the transaction to which I accept my part of the cause.

Called SDS because of a dead circuit in our house. Called at 10:00 a.m., they gave us a window of 3:30 - 4:30 same day. Josh came out and traced the issue to a loose wire in a junction box in less than an hour. Although the price was a little more than anticipated, and thus a B grade on it, the service was great. Very good communication and my wife felt comfortable having Josh in the house with her (most important thing to me). He took the time to talk to me on the phone and explain the issue and said if there were any further issues to call him and he would come back out. Will definitely use them again.

They were very professional and followed through with all the details, I called them back to schedule for the service and they provided more insights about the problems i needed to address before doing the work. I am very satisfied with their approach and will use them again

They came and fixed everything. They did such a good job and were good.

They are very professional and courteous. They are honest with their estimate and all jobs were done in an excellent fashion (they even did a thorough clean up afterward). The staff are so creative that always think how to finish each job in the most "clean" and economic way for customers. This is a very honest company for any of your electrical needs. We will not call anybody else but SDS.

They were the best of the three quotes I received. The work was done in two parts; first a salesman came out to give me a run down of the work, followed by scheduling a two day time period (which stretched into three. They explained to me why and I was cool with that) to have the electricians (who were friendly and professional and explained any question I had) come out and do the work. The work was done in a neat and professional manner. When they accidentally tripped the earthquake valve on my gas meter, they quickly refunded the cost of having the Gas Co. come out to reset the valve. My only complaint was, much to my surprise, I was told that there would be a 3% additional cost for using a credit card only after the work was completed. The point that the salesman tried to make is that it was my responsibility to ask that question, which makes no sense, since I had already confirmed what the TOTAL price for services rendered would be BEFORE any of the work was commenced. Would I use them again? Yes.

They did another amazing job. Everything was neat, organized and all of the outlets line up. We needed additional outlets installed after converting the electric oven to gas and decided to put in a build in microwave. The Electricians needed about 2 1/12 days on the job and everything passed inspection. Josh is highly responsive and very attentive to all of our needs. He made sure his team was on track. We all walked through everything before the inspection to make sure we didn't miss anything. We can't say enough great things about this company with their professionalism and experience. We have had them out twice to work on things and the building has at least 30 units that will be getting their electrical panels updated by SDS Electric.

We hired SDS Electric to replace the electrical panel (circuit breaker box). We had the original 1963 Zinsco which is known to have issues. We needed this updated since we were experiencing some issues. We bought an Angie's List deal with Gil's Electric. While I rated them highly, that was my bad. After I really checked their work, it was sloppy. The recessed lighting isn't flushed with the ceiling, there were wholes punched in the ceiling where they didn't center it correctly and I found the junction box not attached to the rafters in the ceiling. Hence I started looking on Yelp and found SDS Electric. Josh is really amazing. He came out and gave me a written estimate for a few projects and came in much lower than Gil's Electric for the electrical panel. By this I mean $800 less so we paid $1K and the $97.50 for the permit compared to Gil's Electric who wanted over $1800. The work SDS Electric did was great! The electrician was extremely professional and neat and made sure to explain a few things to me. They came back with the Inspector and everything passed! We are so happy with the work SDS Electric did, the condo building is looking to hire them to switch out the electrical panels for the rest of the 29 units.

It went really well. There were a few punctuality problems, but minor. The chandelier installation was very tricky but done with great care, patience and minimal holes to patch in the wall where he ran the wire to it. And the electrician did the first coat of patching and left us material to complete it when it dries. We just love the way it turned out. All the other work was done professionally as well. All done for the original estimated price. Coordinated perfectly with the plumbers. Great guys to have around as well. We are 100% satisfied.

SDS ELECTRIC answered the phone which none of the other did . They come in a timely manner on short notice and offered a really professional and concise evaluation of three problems we had.They fixed all my electrical problem. Easy to do business with and respectfull. I will highly recommend SDS ELECTRIC.

I have the electrical problem in my house in the late night of Thanksgiving Day . Half of the house had no electricity. We are in the panic mode because we had the family Thanksgiving gathering going on. I called SDS Electric and very impressed that the whole crew showed up in short notice and fix the problem very fast. They found the problem is the broken wires inside the electrical metal box outside the house. These young men are very nice and polite, the work they did very neat and professional. I am very happy with their service, and will call again with any electrical problem in my house.

SDS gave me the most reasonable price and answered every single question I had. They recommended LED lights that just look great and told me they will use a spare breaker in my panel so I don't get charged for the part. Everything went very smoothly and I cant recommend these guys more.
