The appointment was scheduled between 8 and 9 AM, first call of the day. However, at 8:30 AM the office called to say that the plumber was running late due to traffic and would arrive by 9:15 AM. Charlie and assistant Jose arrived at 9:20 AM, introduced themselves, and got to work right away. Charlie replaced the broken shower spout with diverter, replaced a filter cartridge (mine) under the kitchen sink, and checked three sinks for water leaks. He ran some tests on the sinks and could not find any active leaks. (We had assumed there were leaks due to stains on the cabinetry under the sinks. There was no standing water.) Charlie suggested that the next time we run a load of dishes in the dishwasher to check immediately under the sink for water drips. The visit went well. Charlie and Jose left at 10:30 AM. Since we had paid $99 (Angie's Big Deal) for an hour of labor, we paid an additional $24.50 for 1/4 hour labor and $61 for the shower spout and parts.

My experience with them was fine. They were able to come in the same day. So, they were fast and responsive. They were a little pricier than what I would like to pay.

Fred arrived on time as scheduled. He had a good attitude and was professional. He was through in explaining other issues that he noticed onsite. Unlike other plumbers I've worked with, he needed to spend a bit of time looking in his van for parts. He has good attention to detail and consulted with me on options that I had. Overrall, I would recommend him for another job. The job took about 1 hr and 45 mins, so I paid for 2 hours. The part about Moe's that I disliked was that I was overcharged for parts. For the two angle stops, I was charged $69.95. These angle stop retail for $14.95 each. Exact Model. I would have expected to pay $20 dollars each. Hopefully, this was a simple mistake and Moe will refund me the difference.

It was fine. Everything was good. Everything was on time.

They know what they are doing. This company was able to build some parts for this heater which I was impressed with. I thought the price was fair. I set an appointment and they show up on time.

Gilmore has been servicing our old units for the last 30 years. During that time they have always furnished prompt and very honest service. As the units neared end of life after 35 years, Gilmore would come every year and refresh the freon or provide some other bandage to keep the units going until such a time as we could afford to replace them. In this case we did not need or want Angie's List referrals or competitive bids - Gilmore has earned our trust and confidence over many years. They did not let us down with this install. We called them late last week and this week they came, spent two days and installed the units, including special HEPA filters which they engineered into the systems. We are very, very satisfied with Gilmore and highly recommend them to all.

Everything wen very well. We called some other plumbers on the list, but they couldn't come out until several days later. Moe is a larger business with more employees and are able to provide prompter service.

First of all, Moe appears to be an umbrella company which sub-contracts the jobs to smaller local companies. The tech that came was not actually a Moe's employee. I also used Moe's for a plumbing inspection and the same was the case there. Not really a problem but was not made clear up front. The tech was a bit late (30-45 min) but not egregiously. He was a nice guy, he was courteous, and seemed pretty knowledgeable, but not a model of professionalism, as I had come to expect from service providers on Angie's list. Again, nothing major, but by comparison, I wouldn't say he was excellent. He identified the problem after about half hour and described it to me and then provided with me with an approximate cost of repair on the spot, which he estimated around 2K. I ended up deciding to replace the whole unit instead and I went thru another company that specializes in just HVAC systems and they were really A++, so again, by comparison I would choose that other company over them as they went above and beyond the call of duty. Overall, they provided a decent service with no issues, but you can also find better out there.

It went great. He was reasonably priced and incredible.

To my surprise, Victor came 10 minutes early and ahead of the scheduled time, I had to let him wait till I was ready. The job was finished quick. The service provided was very, very good. He was so professional , respectful and performed his job in a clean orderly fashion. He used shoe covers before entering my house and closed the door behind him every time. He explained to me the job process very well at the start and gave me helpful tips to avoid later problems.The whole experience was very comfortable. Yes, I will use their service again.

The plumbing in my 1929-vintage tub shower had given out and was leaking uncontrollably. Several plumbers had warned me that it was a major repair that would require opening an exterior wall. So I finally bit the bullet and called Moe. Jorge showed up early with his well-equipped van and got right to work. He worked skillfully and efficiently for eight hours until the job was done, breaking only to return to the central office for some missing parts. (The tub/shower set, which I supplied myself, needed some different-sized connectors.) The job looked looked beautiful when completed. Jorge even took care to install the faucets so the words "hot" and "cold" were perfectly lined up. The bathroom floor and tub were completely clean, and all old parts and debris were taken away - even the chunk of plaster from the exterior wall. I have been a big fan of Moe ever since my main sewer line broke while they were doing a re-lining. They took full responsibility for it (even though who knows with a 1929 clay pipe), saving me thousands of dollars. You can't beat their professionalism and integrity, from the smallest to the biggest jobs. Highly recommended

They never told me it was going to be a temporary fix. I called another provider and they told me what they did was not a legal procedure and then they came back to fix properly.

I used them based on my friend referral. they did our back yard sewer line. Very fast and good quality. fair price

The initial interaction with the plumber was very good. I had all intentions of having the plumber make the repairs. However, once I dug up the area around the leak, we found that we could do the fix on our own. However, I did make a quick call to the plumber when we were digging and asked him some questions. He was very responsive to the call and answered my questions. I ended up doing the repair on my own.

they wanted $98 just for the estimate, most plumbing services will happily give free estimates for new jobs. the rude lady on the phone wanted to charge $98 just too "look at" the repair in question. i do not recommend them. there are way too many other plumbing companies out there that are nicer on the phone and will give free estimates.

They were very courteous and fast to respond. It was like a Friday afternoon that I had a disaster and they came and helped right that day and at a minimal cost, which could have been much more. It was fast and very nice. The furnace now works perfectly fine. And, they threw in some extra stuff that was free. They changed out my thermostat and checked some other stuff. I haven't used another company before but they seem to be fair from other reviews that I've read from other companies.

Lupe, is a tremendous person/professional. We just had some rain and I noticed that that 1 of the drains around the pool did not drain. Seeing how we were going to get 5" of rain over the weekend, I called Moe's Pluming and they said someone would be out between 10-1. Lupe showed up at 10:30 and preceded to work tirelessly for almost 5 hours. He was constantly pleasant and explained everything he was doing. The rains came and all the drains worked great. I will always call Moe's from now on and request Lupe.

I received adequate support from them. They came on a timely manner because we needed work right away. I remember the time frame that we requested the work, within 3 hours they were already here.

I found them a little more expensive than I thought it was going to be. They were there for less than an hour, and I got charged more, and it seemed like they had miscalculated the time, and so I found it expensive. I would advise people to double check their calculations. I was happy with the company, I needed them fast, and they came the next day. Overall I was happy, I just found them expensive.

Octavio was our tech from Moe's Plumbing that did the service call. He was prompt and he clearly described what to expect for that paticular job. Most of all he was quick and left the work area clean. I have always been happy using Moe's Plumbing and I always try to use local businesses. Give Moe a try.

We got estimates from several companies for quotes ranged from $8500.00 to $12965.00. |The reason we chose Gilmore was that when Mike Curtin came out to do the estimate he really took into consideration our specific needs and the way we would be using the new heating and air conditioning. He quoted selling us the $9050.00 units we have, just what was necessary and not more to push a higher priced system. |He recommended the P.W. Stephens Environmental, Inc. for the required asbestos removal of our old unit and we would recommend them to our friends as well. |Mike saw to getting the city permits and arranged for the final inspection, which was passed with no problems. |Some of the most important reasons we would recommend Gilmore are how professionally all their people behaved, the project was completed on schedule, the cleanup left our home spotless and how comfortable we felt having them in our home.

They were prompt and kept me advised as they researched the cost of items for installation. I was looking for a porcelain shower base which is a little unusual but they took it in stride. After mention was made of asbestos testing and other permit issues, I decided not to go ahead with the project because of possible additional repairs I might have to make upon the insistence of the local inspectors.
