I found Carreon on Angie's List, looking for a high-rated local HVA service. Had a bad early experience with another company (who tried to urge hundreds of dollars worth of services on me when I called them out for AC not working, pitched unecessary air duct cleaning, turns out it was just a cord left unplugged after some construction but they charged me for "wire disconnection.") Carreon was 100% better.

I called for an appointment on 09/29 at 10 AM and was told that a technician could be at my home between 1 PM and 4 PM. At 3:45 PM the company called and informed me that the technician was delayed and would it be okay if he called me in about an hour to let me know what time he would arrive. He called at 5:30 PM and offered to come at at either 7 PM or the next morning. I chose the next morning. At 8 AM the next morning (today) I called the office and they had not heard from the technician that I spoke with so they had not scheduled the appointment. They again offered me between 1 PM and 4 PM which I accepted. The technician arrived at 3:30. It was a different technician than the one I had spoken to the day before. Allan was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He pointed out that there were a few worn parts under the sink which were causing small leaks. I agreed to have him replace the faulty parts. The job was done quickly and professionally.

I needed a new central air and heat in my 1923 house. No prior duct work. The home is very important to me, and my goal was to find the best contractor at a very good price. Lucky me! I found the BEST contractor, who happened to also offer the BEST price! I received estimates from five companies. I narrowed my selection to two, Carreon included. The final two had the best estimates and appeared to be the most professional companies. The situation at my house was complicated. There were no easy solutions on how to install the system. An attic system wouldn't work. There were other complications. The companies had to come out several times to re-evaluate the installation. In the end I chose Carreon. Even though the other company seemed fine, and their quote was competitive, there was really NO competition as to which company was most professional, most personable, and most reliable. And while Carreon's estimate happened to be the lowest, I probably would have chosen them anyway. They were that impressive! From the very beginning-- with my first call to Mary, the office manager at Carreon-- my experience with this company was stellar. Mary couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. The technicians, installers, and all company personnel (including-- especially-- Al Carreon, the company's owner) were terrifically professional and kind in every way. I really couldn't be more thrilled with the whole experience. This company went out of its way to accommodate me. Every single step along the way I felt like they knew what they were doing, and they treated me and my house with respect. The end result was amazing. As an illustration of their top-notch skill... the City of Los Angeles requires an independent duct inspection by a company not affiliated with the installer. My inspector was amazed at how "beautiful" the ductwork was. He said that he had NEVER seen better ductwork in ALL of his inspections, and the system passed the inspection with FLYING colors. The inspector said he had rarely seen such low leakage from the ducts!. I knew that the system LOOKED good from the outside, but of course I had no way of knowing what the "inside" looked like. Well, according to this expert, it was just as good inside as out. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company for complicated and difficult installations. (I can imagine how'd they do with the easy stuff, too!)

Prompt arrival. Diligent performance. Friendly and good customer service, providing options and pricing.

They said it would take all day to do the work and didn't give me an estimate so I didn't end up using them for the project. They seemed to be intelligent and he knew what needed to be done. The only thing that I was concerned with was not knowing the price ahead of time.

Keefe is a very professional, dependable company. I have used them for years and found them to be highly reliable.

Carreon sent out one of their gravity heater specialist Alberto. Alberto fixed my problem and also gave me his professional assessment of my heater which included the fact that one of the burners needed to be cleaned. He turned this burner on to show me the problem, however, I opted to have it turned off. I also asked Alberto to turn off my pilot light for the summer. Carreon was responsive and punctual. My entire experience with Carreon and Alberto was totally positive. I highly recommend this company.

Good experience. They were pleasant and on time.

He spent a lot of time figuring out the problem we had. He was able to fix it and it went smoothly. He is very attentive and I think he is a very honest person.

They were very responsive and were willing to work with me as far as scheduling and price. They gave me all the information and they got back to me whenever I called them and left a message.

They are reliable but their pricing is expensive.

They are local and very good. They were recommended by a neighbor and they've done good work for me. They've come out and responded well. Sometimes, the owner actually comes out himself. I would continue to use them in future.

Great experience start to finish. From Mary in the Office, Al the owner coming out for the estimate, to Mauricio and Sal who did excellent work.

The were pretty good. They didn't have anybody to do patch work that I needed. I had an inspection and the inspector brought that up.

I thought they were very straightforward. They knew the system went well. They did the job quickly and efficiently.

I was very impressed with the reception I received from "Mary" when I called. She was able to schedule someone to come out the next day to look at the unit and the next day after that they provided me with an estimate. The problem was when I had some questions, Mary could not answer them and need to speak to her supplier. This took longer than I had and then she forgot to follow up because she got busy. Although their price was higher, I was inclined to go with Carreon because of the good customer service experience. In the end, I decided to go with the company that allowed me to speak directly with someone who had the necessary technical background.

I called for an estimate, they came on the same day. they gave an estimate that was lower then others I received for a better product. We chose the unit and they came to prep the area and determined that the unit we chose would not fit, they gave us an upgrade for the same price. they did the work over two days. they were very careful moving the big unit down our stairs and did not scratch our walls...they only had about an inch on each side. It was pretty impressive. they leaned up after themselves and went over the work with us.

They started the job and finished on time and even came out right away when there was a short in the wiring from being an old house. Carreon went ahead and fixed it for me. It was the hottest day of the year and I was still moving in to my house and they came so fast and helped fix the problem. They all were very professional and had great attitudes. There skill was also excellent and I would call on them again.

They were not responsive enough and were hard to get hold off. The quality of their work was good and their pricing was very reasonable as well.

There were 2 servicemen who came out, and they were both extremely nice and professional! They explained to me everything they were fixing, and showed me the broken parts. They were here about an hour, and didn't leave until they were sure everything was working properly. I actually expected the price to be higher, so it was nice it wasn't over my budget or anything. The woman in the office on the phone was also extremely nice and helpful too. She said they she could get someone out within 2 days, and she was right.

I am quite satisfied. They sent two servicemen out the afternoon I first called and after running a few tests, discovered that all the refrigerant had leaked out of the system. Being late on a Friday, and needing to order the replacement parts, they added refrigerant to the system to get it working for the weekend and then scheduled an return appointment for the following week. They arrived for that appointment promptly, removed and saved the remaining refrigerant in the system, replaced two corroded filter / dryers, pressurized and tested the system for leaks with nitrogen, found no leaks, then put a vacuum pump on the system for an hour and a half, then installed the proper amount of refrigerant. I was impressed with them, because on the initial visit, they said that I would have to replace a $60 valve that might be leaking, along with the two corroded filter / dryers. When they returned to make the repair, they discovered that the valve was not leaking and would not need replacing. A less reputable company might have replaced the valve unnecessarily and charging me for the part and labor to make extra money for themselves. They were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after themselves.

This was very good. I agreed with their pricing. Many heating and air conditioning companies are reluctant to work on floor furnaces so I was happy to find them. I would hire them again.

They were very personable and their prices were reasonable. They did inspect the whole system and they found out that some unit was tilted which was preventing the water from coming out. Their quality of work was good and overall everything was fine.

I had called Mr. Carreon based on other reports from Angie's List about getting my rooftop AC/Heat Pump looked at since I have had it for 5 years and it hadn't been serviced. He told me he could charge me $75 to come look at it but if it worked well and I changed the filters not to worry about it. He was very pleasant. So, when we needed a new pilot generator after the gas company told us we were lucky we had not blown ourselves up with the old one, I called Mr. Carreon. He arrived promptly and went to get the part we needed. He also agreed to take a look at fixing my gas fireplace since I've had trouble getting a plumber to come out to replace the valve. Al fixed the furnace in no time and got me the right part for the fireplace but suggested I call a plumber to do the work the right way. I am very happy with all the information he provided me, and also that he did not try to attempt to do a job he was uncomfortable doing. As it is, we have heat and a great person to call if anything goes wrong with the AC or heat again! Also, I am well armed with information to call someone in to work on the fireplace.
