Great customer service! The gravity furnace expert was able to come three days before our scheduled appoint. He quickly diagnosed the problem and installed the required part.

Again, I don't have a clear memory of the details, but I can say that they were professional, courteous, and prompt. The service man explained everything to me in a way that I could understand (even though I've now forgotten!). The owner of the company even drove over to my house on a Sat. or Sun. morning (can't remember which!) to check when something had alarmed me - before they made the repairs. It was a very positive experience, and I will use Carreon again. I have also recommended them to friends.

I'm really happy with their work and speed of work. I was a little disappointed that Al wasn't able to work out timing with the electrical team I had and I was put in the middle trying to figure out who was running late and who was being a little dramatic about the situation. Difficult when I'm not on site and have to manage the drama over the phone. A professional makes you aware of the situation but doesn't put you in the middle and just completes the work. As well, I would have preferred them to leave the keys in the lockbox that I had specified rather than giving them an onsite tenant that shouldn't have the keys. I was left searching for the keys when they weren't in the lockbox for the next contractor and had to ask where they were. Overall, I was very happy with their actual work and the problem solving in terms of relocating a heating unit, suggesting covers for the compressors and being flexible about additional work performed. I would ensure I was on site for the work and controlled the keys.

The repairman came right on time and re-set the heating/ac unit for the whole house. He figured out why the heat wasn't turning on-- the air filter hadn't been changed for over a year. At the time, we had tenants living in the house, and suggested they change the air filter immediately and we would reimburse accordingly. Unfortunately, this did not happen and the heating/ac unit tripped up again. We called Carreon to come to the house again, and this time he came free of charge. Since the air filter has been replaced, we no longer have any issues. WOuld definitely use Carreon for any of our heating/ac repairs in the future.

They worked out just fine. They came in as promised and the charge was as promised. But they really didn't fix it. They told me I needed to replace the kitchen faucet. But they did fix it enough that it was no longer an emergency.

They are very honest and I would highly recommend them. They are also very reasonable with pricing. The man that did the work for me was Skip Wiatrolik. He didn't charge me the travel time and I've never had any problems with the work that they did.

Thus far, our repairs have not been terribly complicated; not much to tell or describe here.

I have used Gilmore Heating and A/C to service both my office and home. They are without question the best, most honest company I have ever used. I had someone else come out and look at the A/C unit on the roof of my office-- they charged me $175 , but said I really needed to replace the unit, that it was so old it could not keep cooling. It broke down again within a couple of weeks and this time I called Gilmore. $300 and the unit was fixed. Gilmore's technicians are professional, efficient, and honest. The last time they came out, the office was desperate-- with no A/C the office was 95 degrees! I was told they were really busy, and could not come for 3 days. But they called the next day and said there was a cancellation! Hallelujah-- 15 minutes after the technician arrived, we felt the cold air beginning to flow. The problem?? a blown fuse, and a little problem with a wire. Total cost? $98.00

Extremely happy with our service at CARREON. Our A/C motor broke down in the middle of the worst heat wave we can recall. Initially, we had gone with another company who promised next day service as my husband has some health issues. We lived to regret that decision after six days of triple digit temps, and lots of excuses from the other company. As we grew more and more apprehensive about the other company, we contacted Mary at Carreon, who was so gracious even though we were using someone else, and who encouraged us to give them the benefit of a doubt. When they showed up with the wrong part, and a projected wait time of another week (!) for the right one, we decided to switch to Carreon. We brought our old motor to them, as we are only about 4 blocks away, and hoped it may help expedite our service. Within a few hours they were in possession of the correct part, and thanks to a cancellation and prioritizing our health issues, within 24 hours we had our A/C back, and they charged us only $375, thats 40% less than the other company was charging us. The entire staff was friendly, considerate, professional, and genuinely caring of our predicament. We will absolutely use them in the future for any of our A/C or heating needs, and highly recommend them.

The technician appeared very professional, courteous and worked quickly. The main finding was an extremely dirty filter which they did not carry, so I replaced the filter after the technician instructed me on how/where to replace the filter. He also advised me to change the filter every 3 months since the unit is running almost continously. I was unaware that in a high-rise building that they would have to go on the roof to check the air-conditioning unit. The technician was very familiar working in numerous high-rise buildings in downtown Los Angeles so had no problem being escorting by security to the roof unit. He advised me that since the unit was on the roof of the building they would have to charge me extra for his time. They only charged me $20 more (usual service charge is $65)/.I would definitely call them again for maintenance and/or service of my HVAC system.

It was quick, and within the estimate. Everything works fine and they did a great job.

Saul was on time, and cleaned our furnace and a/c unit. The a/c unit had not been serviced in a few years, and he suggested we do a deep cleaning to remove the grime from the coils. He took great care, cleaned out the leaves in the bottom of the unit, and went over everything. He also cleaned the outside of the unit. He added coolent to the system and checked that all of our interior vents were blowing and circulating at the correct temperature. He also cleaned the furnace, and installed a fresh filter. He was able to date the units, and gave us an approximate life expectancy for both. I was pleased with the work, and feel better running the unit now that it's been serviced. We've used Moe Plumbing for plumbing issues with the house, and it seemed wise to use them for the ac/furnace service.

85 degrees inside, home office air conditioner on the fritz. Employees melting and dripping -- I called CARREON because they were the closest to our office (with good ratings) -- they put me on the calendar for the very next day. They called three hours early - said they had a cancellation -- and came early. Fast, quick - and up and running within half an hour. Brilliant. Accepted my Angie's List coupon no questions asked. I highly recommend Carreon.

Skip came at exactly 8 am, fixed our faucet handles and also rebuilt the interior workings of our toilet. Prompt and professional service, and the work was done in about 1 hour. We were very pleased. About 1.5 weeks later, we lost all pressure in our shower, and the shower head would not stop leaking, handles would not shut off. It was a Sunday, and we called, explained we had just had the work done, and they sent someone over. It was a faulty part in the rebuilt part of the shower faucet handles. He did the work free of charge (since it was a faulty part), and we were very happy! We would definitely use them again. Update: The back shower failed again, and the water main would not shut off, we called Moe's plumbing, and they sent someone out right away to assess the situation. It was discovered that we need a water pressure regulator (looks like a tiny bell that sits on top of your water main pipe), as we had too much pressure building overnight. The pressure was causing our fixtures to fail. It was approx. 1600.00 to have the regulator installed, and we had a new one piece handle installed in the back shower. This required opening up the wall of the stall and dealing with the plumbing inside. It was a full days work. The plumber came on time, was very polite and professional, as been our experience with everyone at this company. At the end of the day, there was still a little time left, so he fixed the faucet of our pool fill, which was leaking from a broken gasket. Overall, we have been very pleased with the service, and have had no issues since then. They are not the cheapest plumbers, but they are insured, their plumbers are union, and they guarantee their work.

Al, the owner, personally talked to me on the phone after I'd had several workmen either say the problem was fixed or aggressively try and up sell me on the heater. I found him to be funny, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Al also came by the day before my scheduled service call to look over the unit and be sure he would have any part to fix it, without charging for the service call. The day of the call, the guys were promptly at my address, looked over the unit, worked to fix what was seemingly unbroken and then walked me through different future alternatives to the 70 year old unit, should we want to upgrade. There was only a service charge, no extras for getting the unit to work (required lighting the pilot to a different burner). I found both Al and his associate Al to be professional, knowledgeable and quick in the work. I can say without a doubt that I will go to them when we upgrade our heating system and if there are any additional service needs. Everyone I've spoken to at the company was respectful of my time and seemed honestly interested in my situation. I appreciate that, as well as care about supporting local business (they are close to me in Eagle Rock) over a larger, more corporate entity. They performed the work and would recommend them highly to anyone who needs heating or air repair work.

I had Gilmore install a new system years ago in my previous home (I sold it 2 years ago, so this posting is a bit late!), and although the system worked in the end, I was not particularly satisfied with the quality and installation. They installed the system in the attic and in so doing cut out many of the supporting 2x4 supports of the main roof. I only found this out when I walked on the roof after the job was done and found a soft spot over the area of the new unit. I would not be writing now if they'd explained what they were doing, but they instead went ahead and cut a lot of structure from the roof without discussion. I had to go up there myself afterwards to add back some supports to circumvent what they'd removed. Another problem was that the electrician that they brought on did not install the circuit breakers that were promised. I did not catch that until many months later when the breakers cut power to the house on a hot day. Overall, the crew did the work in a rush. Maybe they've improved since then, but back then I would not recommend.

I had some trouble with my gas fired forced air furnace not starting up when the temperature inside the house dropped below the thermostat setting. I called Carreon, and they said they would sent a repair person the next day, between 8am and 10am. The person showed up at 9am, and immediately discovered the problem was some corroded electrical connections inside the furnace. They cleaned the connections and the furnace now operates properly. Since the system is over 18 years old, they did a complete inspection of the entire system, both in the basement and in the attic. As you know, it is easy for a repair person to say that you need new expensive parts, install them, and charge you for them. But, this person was quite honorable, and made a simple repair, charging me only for two hours service time. I have used Carreon before, and I will use them again. I recommend them highly.

I highly recommend this company. They are prompt, they try to be clean, they are thorough, and they are polite. Moe Plumbing Service's servicemen are professional and their office staff is nice.

When I called for information, Mary was helpful and provided details about the process for cleaning the old furnace and the replacement process, if necessary. Adalberto came to evaluate the furnace. During the cleaning process he noted cracks in the firebox and provided a quote for replacement. He ordered the new furnace and scheduled the crew. The crew arrived the next day. They were great. The took care to protect our floors and the adjacent areas while working. They installed a new furnace, thermostat and ducts in the ceiling and roof. Mr. Carreon arrived to inspect the work. The old furnace and ducts were hauled away. Over the past month, the furnace has been working just fine and our house is comfortable and warm. We were very pleased with everyone at Carreon.

They do great work. They show up on time and what they quote is what you pay, there are no surprises.

All of the plumbers are full time employees and do an excellent job. They call you in advance if they will be late. They are very good with follow-up. They always ask before they start a job who is responsible. This is important as I have tenants. They have always been reasonable, even when dealing with a difficult tenant. They are very personable.

From our electric bill, I had identified that the home cooling units were not performing properly. Contracted with Carreon to identify the problem(s). Units were low on Freon, filters were dirty. Service tech discovered that the previous technician had superglued the refill valve rather than replace it properly. No way to refill the system. He then cleaned out the valve and replaced the defective unit, then recharged the system. Everything works to spec now.

Quick, courteous, and professional. The plumber showed up on time, explained the how and why of what he was going to do, and then promptly proceeded to make repairs, and was done in half the time I expected. Not really much to report, as it all went so effortlessly.

They were great. They were really honest and gave us options that we hadn’t heard of before when we had other people come out to look at our furnace. I would use them again in the future.
