Paul came and looked at the heater and replaced a part. He was very professional and efficient. Unfortunately, the initial repair didn't solve the problem, so Carreon came back a few days later and made another small repair and fixed the problem. I was very happy with their responsiveness in coming back a second time to make another repair and they did not charge us for the second visit. I would absolutely use Carreon again and recommend them to anyone who needs a heater repair. Great job, Carreon!

I had a difficult time finding a company that would install a heater that they did not provide but Carreon had no hesitation (and no attitude) about it. Karen was lovely on the phone and Paul (who did the repairs) called promptly and came out the next day to give an estimate. He was friendly and very knowledgable. I had reservations about the price (it was a job that I could have done myself but I didn't feel it was safe as I'd probably poison my family with carbon monoxide) but after discussing the job with Paul I wanted him to do the work. He did not pressure me at all and was totally willing to answer all my questions even when I wasn't sure I was going to go with Carreon for the work. I made a good choice. Their work was flawless and I could not be happier.

REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. I called Moe Plumbing and heating to light a pilot in an older model floor furnace in a rental property because my handyman was out of town. It involved going through a crawl space to light from underneath. On the day that the technician was supposed to come my tenant called and said they were a no-show so I called to reschedule and they said they'd be there at a specified time but didn't show again. Then they called and said the guy would be there in a couple hours and they'd call when he'd finished the job he was working on and let me know when he was on the way. They called several hours later and said he'd be there in 1/2 hour. He showed up about an hour after that and said it wasn't the pilot but that a part needed to be replaced. My tenant said he spent about 15 minutes under the building and doubted he did anything because she couldn't hear him doing any work. When the furnace still didnt work he then said I needed a new thermostat (the one I had was just a few months old) but after replacing the thermostat and the furnace still didn't work he left saying he was late for another job (my tenant said he was only there about 45 minutes total) A couple of days later my handyman got back in town, lit the pilot and the furnace worked fine. He said that there wasn't any new part on the furnace but that maybe they put a used part on. I had to give my tenant free rent for the time she didn't have heat ($165). Since I'd had the furnace rebuilt a few years ago I'm sure the part that he said he'd installed was not needed and certainly the thermostat was not needed...neither of those fixed the problem . I called the company to complain and they responded by sending a bill for $250 saying that he was there two hours and the parts were $90 When I told them that was not true, that there were no new parts installed that they should come back and show my handyman what they did they just stopped taking my calls and turned the bill over to a collection agency. They are total crooks and liars. If you call them make sure you document the time they are there and see them do the work and the parts they install. Or better yet, call my handyman!

He went above and beyond. He helped me physically move things from Home Depot back to our property. It was outside of his responsibility. The toilets got delivered and were delivered broken. So, he helped me physically return them to the store and bring back new ones. He was very friendly, prompt, quick service, willing to explain to us what was going on, and go out of his way to help us.

Fred, the technician, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to locate replacement parts for a very specific tub. Since it took so long for the parts to come in, he wasn't able to complete all of the work right away, but they didn't charge us for anything until the work was fully completed. He also took a look at a drain in the kitchen that was being difficult, figured out it was the garbage disposal and was able to replace it right away with a new unit he had in his truck. We're very pleased with the work.

My AC broke during a hot spell (not a real heat wave). Nevertheless, the company could not send a technician for more than 1 week. On the day of the appointment the technician arrived on time. He was neat and professional. He quickly diagnosed my problem and fixed it.

They showed up quickly and got the job done and they're relatively expensive.

Skip came out, repaired our water pump, and replaced conduit piping to the water heater. He seemed very honest, was professional and very knowledgable. He was here was here within an hour and gave a phone number to call if I needed any help or further assistance, or to talk me through any emergencies.

I've been using them for numbers of years. They are knowledgeable and competent. They come on time but I think they are a little higher price than some other prices. The real reason that I use them are they come out on time and get the job done.

I had one Heat Pump unit which was not working. The technician spent a lot of time diagnosing the problem with the unit which was a faulty compressor. He told me it would cost around $4,000 to replace the compressor. None of the working units were serviced. I knew the price was way high so I called in another A/C company who confirmed the diagnosis and quoted me $1,700 for replacing the compressor and putting in new refrigerant. I went with that company, Mirsky Heating and Air Conditioning.

The workers at Gilmore Heating and Air Conditioning came out on time, did a great job and they were efficient in a way that they picked up the problem immediately.

They did a really good job. They were punctual and underbid another company. They finished a day early and did everything exactly the way I had asked. There no problems and they finished the job in one day. I am waiting on them for a bid on another project.

It went well - the disconnection happened while we were away and Carreon handled the entire job effectively. We needed the AC unit moved and the tech who handled the job moved it by himself several yards away from the house onto our driveway. When the foundation work was done, Carreon came back and reconnected the AC unit and the job was done very well - all the connections were clean and organized and the unit runs well. There was some schedule confusion regarding the reconnection appointment - they tried to cancel the day of the appointment because it was too cool outside to test the unit - but when we told them we had a house inspection scheduled for later that day they showed up as promised.

Carreon's tech saved me well over $3000 in unnecessary cost because he knew what he was doing, was honest and took the time to explain it all to me. For only $100 I got integrity, professionalism, and great service.

All service personnel have been punctual, courteous, clear in their explanations of problems and solutions, as well as experienced and highly skilled. No complaints whatsoever. Only sincere thanks.

Th e technicians arrived on time and with the proper equipment. They quickly and efficiently did the inspection and provided video copies for my use. They offered suggestions on how to upgrade and/or fix the problems they found.

I chose MOE because of their long-standing reputation in the community, and because Jeff Hachey, who came to do the original estimate, was very knowledgeable and professional in his assessment of my plumbing needs. I had an unusual situation, where laundry facilities were being installed on the street-level of a three-story home, and the laundry water needed to be routed to an ejector pump located on the third-floor area of the property. Jeff quickly provided a reasonable estimate, and set up a date for the work to begin. He kept me informed of all aspects of the project from start to finish, responded very promptly to my questions and concerns, and provided excellent service in that area. He also assisted me in choosing bath fixtures and products that were suited to my particular needs. The representatives of MOE, who actually did the work, were Eric and Ronnie. They were always on time, always professional, and did a fabulous job. They were always willing to answer any questions, and kept me informed of their progress from beginning to end. I am very happy with the services that MOE Plumbing has provided to me, and I would highly recommend them to anyone to needs their services. Their office staff, including Jennifer and Rachel, were always courteous, friendly and helpful, which is greatly appreciated during the stressful moments that accompany even the most modest remodel project. Kudos to MOE for a job very well done!

They did a fair job. They are a bit pricey and expensive and we have had to replace the same part several times. So we had to call them twice for the same problem. They are very prompt.

My tenants called to let me know the gas floor heater had stopped working. I immediately got onto Angie's List to line up some estimates. The first estimate was from another contractor who told me that the heater could not be repaired and would have to be replaced. After he checked, he said the old style of gas heater in this house was no longer made and he recommended converting to a wall style gas heater. However, this would require additional repairs to the hardwood floors and walls because of the size of the old floor heater. Fortunately, I had also scheduled CARREON to come out to give me an estimate. Due to scheduling they were not able to come out until the following week but when they did come out they said they would be able to repair the existing heater! With great relief I authorized CARREON to make the repairs and they were able to do the job on the same day during the same visit for under $300. It's been a couple of weeks since the repairs were made and my tenants are very happy in their nice warm home! Thanks CARREON, you are now my official "go to" Heating & Air contractor!

First of all, the company is not technically Carreon anymore. The old owner sold the business to Merry/San Marino Plumbing Heating & Air. I chose Carreon from Angie's List because it had good reviews and was a small company, so I felt my special scheduling needs might be more easily met. The service was not for my own residence but for my brother's. He lives alone and has some brain damage, so I help him handle issues like this. I needed the service person to call me at least 15 minutes before arrival so I could drive there and meet him. Dolores handled my request on the phone and set this up. I got a message yesterday that the company had called and needed to change the service date from Friday to Monday, which was fine with me. However, this morning as originally scheduled, a serviceman called and said he was 30 minutes away. It was not a problem. I drove to meet him, and the service was performed. I was very favorably impressed with Adal. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The thermostat had been installed by someone else this past August (someone I decided not to call back), and it was not working properly. I believed it was due to installation, and Adal confirmed this. It was working on AC but the only way to make it turn on the heater was by switching the fan to "On". It would not work on "Auto". Adal re-wired the thermostat so the heat works as it should. The AC is now a problem, but due to both timing and temperature issues, we decided that can wait to be fixed until the weather warms up. At that point, I plan to have Adal service my home system as well as my brother's, so obviously the answer to whether I will use the company again is a definite yes.

I called on Monday to request expert assistance with my heating and A/C unit. John Vossmeyer called me back and talked to me over the phone for a number of minutes. When it became obvious I could better explain my situation with him by actually seeing my problem, we made an appointment for the next morning. There was no service charge for a Technician visit, which saved me $80 right away. He showed up right on time, managed to verify what he was recommending, and explained the steps and his recommedations to both me and my wife, which is an added benefit so she is fully informed and we know what direction we are going. For the service call, there was no charge. He also gave me what I thought was an excellent price quote on the filter replacements and advice as to what filters I should use. On another issue, he was able to give me a quote to add an addition air return, which I thought was very reasonable. I plan to use him again in the future for all A/C and heating issues.

The whole process began when Carreon submitted a bid for a packaged gas heating/electric air conditioner system, with new ducting on the roof, as a replacement for the original central system with ductwork embedded in the concrete slab when the house was constructed in 1960. We also got bids from other companies, but felt best about the Carreon proposal on the basis of cost and thoroughness of the proposal. Carreon began construction soon after we got the city permit, and worked diligently and on schedule. In comparison with past experience with contractors, the process was extremely smooth and free of aggravation. The only challenge was the weather: untimely rain caused some delay (to be expected, one cannot expect a construction crew to keep working on a wet, rainy roof). And here as well, Carreon was very sensitive and responsive to making sure that the work was timed to make sure that rain didn't enter the house while holes were cut into our roof/ceiling to connect ducts to registers in our house. Although at various times, a crew as large as 6 or 7 people were involved, most of the work was done by Michael and Eric, two very competent and hardworking young men who were also very personable. Also, the new owner, Jim Miller, was a pleasure to work with and very easy to get in touch with to answer questions or concerns. The work was completed in the time specified in our contract and meeting all of our expectations (accounting for the rain related delays), and we are extremely happy with the functioning of the new system. It heats very effectively and quietly. We would definitely recommend this company and plan to use them again in the future.
