They were a small, local mover. They were pleasant and wonderful. They packed and unloaded all in one day. It was a good price.

I changed my review from F to C only because they are still learning by their mistakes being a new company and there were a lot of issues for me and I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and changing to C from F. Their price seems good but I didn't get a chance to use them because of their inexperience. They need to work on communication, professionalism and honesty For them to say I was only available on weekend was FALSE, I said I was available during the weekday and NOT weekENDS! and if they wanted to squeeze me in to give me a 1/2 hr notice since it was a small job I would be available. They need to be honest with people and answer (reply) honestly on Angie's list. I have email showing I was available ALL WEEK (days) for weeks and made myself plenty available.

If you are planning to make a local move stop your search and call Mike Campos. Mike and his crew moved my family from a two bedroom apartment and a storage unit in the South Bay to a house in Culver City. I called him just 9 days before our planned move. Mike came out to give me a in person estimate for the cost of the move. During the estimate he told me that he would be bringing a 5 man moving crew (including himself to supervise the crew and help move), This was a huge bonus as most moving companies only send a 3 person team for local moves and since you are often paying by the hour it can add several hours to your move time. Also a key point to note since Mike's quote was a little higher than the comparison companies that I spoke with but those companies gave me quotes over the phone only and were planning to send three man moving teams. I would have paid much more than there quotes by the end of the move. Mike showed up on time. His crew was personable and efficient. They did everything I asked and were helpful both with breaking down and assembling our furniture. Mike and his team finished in less time than he estimated and he credited me the difference. (How often does that happen with local movers) I have moved many many times in the past 12-15 years and this was by far the easiest and least stressful experience I have ever had. Which was a real bonus since we have a 3 year old and a 7 month old that needed our attention through out the day. In addition, I should note that while I did about 90% of the packing myself before they arrived, I needed Mike and his crew to tape shut about 15 of the boxes and shrink wrap the larger furniture. All of this was done quickly and at no additional cost to me! Trust me on this point. If you do not at least call Mike for a comparison quote you are doing yourself a disservice. He did everything he said he would in less time and less cost than he quoted me. I couldn't ask for anything more! Great experience, dependible company, the owner was honest and reliable. I will use him again when the time comes.

On fairly short notice, I called Mike on the Tuesday before the move and he came by that evening to do a walk through and gave us an estimate of 5 1/2 hours, using a four man crew. On the morning of the move, Mike showed up with a 26 ft truck and three other guys. Shortly thereafter, a fifth guy showed up and Mike said that he didn't count himself! So we had 5 guys working hard and efficiently and taking great care with all of our stuff. They moved a large, awkward bookcase and a huge and heavy elliptical machine downstairs without making any contact with any walls. Nothing short of amazing! They ended up finishing the job in about 3 1/2 hours. Since we had some extra time to meet the 4 hour minimum, they even helped unload stuff out of our cars. Very polite and professional crew. We have used several different movers over the years, and Mike and his merry band were the best we've come across. Would definitely use again and we would highly recommend to anyone we know.

WOW!!! Mike and his crew showed up loaded for bear. They were on time and took care of business in short order. The right tools for the job, everything went extremely smooth, nothing damaged. Not even the possibility of it happening. The price was reasonable, nothing to worry about and moving is stressful enough. These guys are very professional. Thanks Mike!!!!

He came promptly when we contacted him and gave us tips on cutting our moving expenses. He advised us to pack small items ourselves in advance and gave us free supplies bubble wrap, boxes, tape and tape gun to let us do that easily. His estimate was clear and based on hours we used his service. We were efficient so the hours we used were less so he reduced the amount we had to pay. Even with a 25% tip to his team we ended up paying $200 less than estimate without the tip. That was a pleasant surprise for us.To get an A review from me a professional has to be top class. Mike earned his A review in all categories and based on our experience I would not hesitate to recommend him to others

They were excellent from beginning to the end.

I'm not much of a story teller. Suffice to say, they showed up exactly on time (to the minute), provided better service than I'd expected at a very low cost. They took care not to scratch anything, wrapped all furniture in plastic, and used heavy blankets in the truck to keep furniture items from touching each other. As an added bonus, they offered to and then switched my refrigerator door hinge from one side to the other at my new location. Very pleasant experience all. The move was a 1-bedroom apartment's worth of furniture, probably more boxes than a normal person might have in such a small apartment to a house a few blocks away.

If I could give this company an A+ I would. They were exceptional. Really efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, conscientious, and everything else you'd want in a moving company. The owner came out and surveyed our two-bedroom/two-bathroom apartment and gave an estimate on cost and time. He worked with us on a reasonable price. On moving day he was spot on with how long it would take. We did our best to have everything packed and labeled, but some items still needed to packed. They took over and packed up the remaining items really well. I was completely worry free. They treated our stuff not like it was their stuff, but like it was OUR stuff. Took really good care handling it. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone.

Mike came out and provided an estimate. Mike pitched in as needed making the team 5 people! Day of: team was prompt and efficient. They got the fridge into the kitchen despite it not fitting through the door way. Duration was as expected. No hidden charges.

They were on time and efficient. Everything was moved in a careful and timely manner. We were pleased with their work.

My move went very well. Mike and his team of five men were hard-working, diligent, and focused. To the extent efficiency allowed, they were careful with our things, asked questions whenever necessary to clarify how I wanted certain pieces handled or moved, and patiently answered all of our questions as well. Mike made it very clear that he took great pride in his business and his work and his ultimate goal was to provide excellent service, which he did. He takes his credibility seriously, and his team appears to trust and respect him. All of these qualities gave me confidence in trusting Mike and his team to take good care with my things. I called the company, along with several others, to get an estimate beforehand. I was very specific about what I thought we needed to move and left a large margin for things I knew I would leave out. Mike answered the phone himself, listened carefully to what I had to say, asked a few more questions, and gave me an estimate range, along with options for packing. He offered to come by and do a quick on-site estimate which he said would take only a few minutes. To accommodate our schedule, he came by one evening later in the week and true to his word, took only a few minutes to survey the job. He stayed another 15 to answer all of my questions and discuss whether we would like to have them pack for us, how long that would take and what the variable costs might be. I chose to do a significant amount of packing and moved our kitchen and bathroom ourselves beforehand, moving breakables individually and using significantly less manpower and packing materials than the company would have used to protect my things. One lesson I have learned and which Mike reminded a couple times throughout the process is not to underestimate and volume of unpacked "stuff". The team was very good about labeling boxes and packing quickly and efficiently. There was no haggling about materials costs (something I have experienced with other movers in the past). The day of, there was a slight miscommunication, and Mike and his team showed up early. Instead of complaining, Mike had the team clean the truck and further prepare for our move. Once 9am hit, they came in, armed with tape and boxes, blankets, tools, and dollies, and began wrapping, labeling and moving out the largest pieces. One man remained in the truck and oversaw placement and packing within the truck. As Mike estimated, it took about 4.5-5 hours to pack, move and load everything in. I provided lunch and refreshments, for which they were very appreciative. After a short break, they showed up at the new place with new energy. They brought padding for the elevator and other materials to protect the floors. Upon coming up to the place, they rolled out and taped down thick plastic to protect the hallways carpeting from the dollies. Inside, they lay down blankets to protect my hardwood floors and were happy to take off their shoes inside as I requested. The team was very patient in placing down the furniture in each room. They helped me decide where to place various pieces and without complaint, rearranged heavy bookcases and dressers at my request. They were very courteous to my neighbors and worked quickly and quietly. As they left, they not only cleaned up after themselves, but removed a number of things I chose not to keep and offered to take various items to the dump for me. There were two casualties in the move. The base of one glass vase was cracked and the files in two filing cabinets were in disarray. That is the reason for the B in quality, but to be fair, it is not clear whether it was the movers or the quality of the furniture. So, while not a perfect move, well within the margin of error that should be expected in moving that much stuff at once. At the end of the day, Mike made sure everything was in order, and when I asked about the gratuity, he told me that some people do and others do not. They guys are just appreciative of the work. After that much work, with all of the extra attention they paid to things not included in the contract (protecting the floor and walls from moving traffic, being considerate of neighbors, not haggling over packing materials, packing more than was initially agreed upon), all for a reasonable price, it did not seem right to tip any less than 20%. I have already recommended this company to three friends and colleagues in the area and would hire them again. p.s. lovely touch - they sent us a holiday card thanking us for the business.

They were amazing. My overall experience with them was good. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I just used this moving company for myself, then I needed some more help and I knew to call Mike at Diversified Movers. I needed help moving some of my mothers things into storage and knew I couldn't do it myself so I called Mike and his crew. They wrapped up, and boxed up what ever I needed they are amazing....want an easy move, call Mike they are on time and very reliable would recomend to anyone.

Fantastic. This is the 3rd moving company I've used in the last five years or so and they were by far the best. The entire experience was a treat. Everyone we dealt with at Diversified was professional, knowledgeable and friendly; from the initial phone call, to the onsite estimate, to the move itself. They showed up on time with a team of seven (!) movers and in a flurry of carefully coordinated activity took apart and wrapped up our furniture and electronics, boxed up our closets and anything else we hadn't managed to pack and artfully filled two moving vans full of our stuff. At our new home we watched the same flurry of activity in reverse and in no time at all, had our house set up. Not one missing item or a single scratch on anything and finished well ahead of the time estimate. These guys are great. And they went the extra mile (shrink-wrapping chairs we decided to store in the garage, moving outdoor plants around, anything you needed)! And they offered, they didn't wait to be asked. Our moving team was a great bunch of hardworking, proactive hustlers. I would use them again in heartbeat.

They were outstanding and completely thorough. There were no loose strings hanging over when I moved out and moved in. They put more effort into the move than what I expected because moving is very tiring. They came in like a squad of marines when I left my place and everything was picked up for you. The highlight of the move was when one of my desks would not fit in through the door; they disassembled it and reassembled on the inside for no extra charge. They were very reasonable and the quality was excellent. I would say that they had the military thoroughness.

I am very impressed with Diversified Movers. You can really tell that they have been doing this for some time. They come on time and get things done efficient and damage free.They are never lacking on man power or tools needed to do the job (blankets, dolleys, trucks,tools etc..)

Amazingly well. They were on time, cheerful (even when it was raining!), had great attitudes; handled everything with professionalism; nothing was damaged during the move - furniture, floors, walls, etc all survived intact. Mike & his crew are great and I'd recommend them in a heartbeat. In fact, I am hiring them again for a smallish job & will hire them yet again in another week or two to help clear out a storage area. Hire these guys!

Everything went according to plan. They were prompt and thorough. They obviously have been doing this for awhile because they were like a well oiled machine fast and accurate. I would and will not only use them again but give their name to anyone looking to have something moved.
