Didn't use them since they were more expensive than 2 other bids.

We bought a 21 year old house. It was obvious the previous owner did not take care of the property the way he should have. So we needed to know in what kind of shape the roof was in. We called four roofers, their estimates ranged from $525.00 to $9000.00!!! Jordan Roof company's estimate came in at $940.00. The reasons we went with them were: 1. When Bill Jordan came out doing the estimate, he was the only one of the roofers that wanted to see the attic to see if there are any wet spots he could see. He spent about 10 minutes in the attic, when he came down, he said that everything is Ok , he could not see any infiltration spots. All other roofers just asked me 'does the roof leak?'. I don't know, but if I am the 'expert roofer' I do want to look for myself and not trust the observations of a guy that has no clue about roofs. 2. When he got up onto the roof he spent the most time of all the roofers up there. And he was the ONLY one who spotted that one vent pipe was broken and water was getting into the house. 3.We received his proposal the following day. 4. When his guys came out, they arrived on time, and knew what needed to be done. The reason why we had to pay $75 more than on the proposal was the fact that between Bill Jordan being on the roof and the guys coming out to repair it, I had the painters out and it looks like they have cracked 15 - 20 more tiles. It was a good experience and I would hire him again. He was definitely not the cheapest, but I very much liked his approach on how to conduct the roof inspection. He was professional, courteous, thorough and on time and so was his crew. And it is this professionalism that usually translate into quality workmanship which I am more than happy to pay a little extra and have it fixed the first time around. P.S. The guy who quoted the $9000.00, he is also on Angie's list with an A rating, said the membrane was gone completely and needed to be replaced. When I asked him to show me, he told me, it is his company's policy not to let me onto the roof while he is onsite. Go figure.

I love them. Keven especially. They showed up on time. They did a really good job making sure that everything was cleaned up everyday. They were very efficient and the price was perfect. They weren't the most expensive or the least. The workman ship was excellent.

I am Extremely happy with the work they have done. The roof was in desperate need of TLC and They took care of it with a professionalism that is rare in companies now days. From the moment I called for an estimate (which by the way was quick) to the day they finished the job, I was happy. They gave me a start date and they finished the job without interruption. They take pride in their work! This is the second time I have used Jordan Roofing, five years previous to this job they worked on my home. I received the same courtesy I did today as I did then. I received several estimates to re-roof my house. Bill Jordan personally came by the house and dropped off samples. He patiently answered all my questions. His proposal was complete and the price was very competitive with the others. He provided addresses of several houses in the neighborhood where I could see first hand what the type of roof I wanted would look like. His crew showed up on time and did the work very efficiently. The quality was excellent. There were no surprises. I would highly recommend the Jordan Roof company to others.

I have been in property management for 30 years. I first used Jordan Roof Company 18 years ago. Since that first job they have done all roof replacement or repair.for me. They are honest, very professional, and use quality products. There employees are personally trained by the owner as well as every job inspected by the owner during the process. The above information was for the re-roofing of 2 side by side flat roof condominium units. After years of association roofers "fixing" leaks without success we petitioned the board to let us use Jordan Roofing. The only time I ever had to call them back was on this job because of a leak that developed due to wind damage. Jordan was out the next day and repaired. it. I might add this job was done in Malibu and their offices are located in Orange .It is no small investment to repair or re-roof your home. I have had a few nightmare experiences with roofers before Jordan and I really appreciate the fact that they make my job so much easier. I would highly recommend them and have to many of my personal friends who are also satisfied customers.

After the first rain in several months, we noticed rain coming in at the top of a window located just below an over hanging roof. I called Bill Jordan, owner of Jordan Roof Company and arranged for him to come by since his company had installed the original tile roof. After that roof was installed a number of years ago, we added an addition and our contractor used a different roofing company to tie the new addition to the existing house. Bill Jordan was here at 8 AM as scheduled on January 24, 2012. He returned several hours later with two employees who performed all the work noted above. Before the work was performed, he explained the cause of the roof leak and how it would be repaired. The work took just over four hours. We were extremely pleased with all aspects of what was done to fix the leak and the extra steps that were taken to clean the gutters and the valleys on the roof, all at a very fair price.

started out nervous calling a contractor i didnt know ,but after watching how hard the people worked on my roof and and price i paid ,and the quality of the roofing material ,my new roof looks alot better ,and it doesn't leak anymore im a happy camper !

OMG! I cannot say enough about how wonder Jordan Roof LA is. I am a value shopper who collected 5 estimates for the owner prior to recommending Jordan Roof LA. We live in a Spanish style Duplex built ~1929, 1/3 Tile & 2/3 Flat Roofs with Flat roof Garage. The choices for flat are Torch down or Hot Mop. Either one are good with an experienced roofer. The key to Hot Mop is Temperature. Torch down limits tar odor and is good, cleaner too if sheets are fully torched to manufacturers specs. BUT Some Contractors will only do edges & seams to cut back on propane cost. Hot Mop is as good or even better providing the tar is the right temperature and spread generously. Being a painter by trade, I have exposure and understanding to most types of construction and estimate real cost of labor & materials. I had lower bids than Jordan Roof LA but due to questionable License, Insurance and Worker Comp coverage, I did not choose. The higher ones were just that. Higher. Some things you have to do right, start to finish. Kevin Sarno was the Jordan Roof salesman I dealt with. He's young, but don't let that fool you. He is very experienced and knows his job inside and out. His grandfather started the business in 1938 and took Kevin on jobs when he was old enough to climb a ladder. I didn't tell or show him any of the other bids. All I told him was what I was hoping; That he'd come in right in the middle, or average. Kevin came back the next day with a bid just south of center!! He reviewed all the easy to understand contract terms clearly and concisely answering all my questions. I told him if he'd accept the Angie's list 10% coupon and adjust the price, I'd hire him. He accepted and adjusted the contract total, right on the spot! This really amazed me as it brought the total barely over cost of Materials and Labor. Jordan Roof LA is no small operation. They have 30 full roofing crews, all company trucks working out of 5 Warehouse locations. Having "AAA" rated by BBB, CertainTeed "A" rated, 3 State Contracting Licenses, Workers Comp covered, Bonded & Insured for over $20M, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how they could afford to compete with the lower end of the bids carrying so much "overhead.". Kevin explained 2 main reasons. 1. Virtually NO debt. 2. Sheer VOLUME of work. So much, (30M annual gross revenues) that Materials Manufacturers gives Jordan Roof LA a discount not many contractors qualify for. D&B Rates Jordan Roof LA overall risk LOW. Credit Score HIGH. The over-all experience, quality, workmanship, courtesy and respect we were given was the greatest one could hope for.
