Service was great. There was always a contact person available if I had any questions. They were clean and guaranteed their work for 4 years. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

They used a painted on coating instead, which is more messy, and got some on the facia. Also, they left some tar stains on my driveway. However, they later came back and cleaned up the mess. I appreciate their follow-up on this, and I would use them again.

Jordan Roof company came out and an excellent job patching up our roof, for a cost that was extremely reasonable. We bought and renovated an older home, which had left our roof in a questionable state (mostly from age). Some of the problems we had Jordan Roof company address were: * Our roof is comp. installed directly over old wood. When it was installed, the comp shingles were nailed directly to the wooden shingles, however the nail heads were not covered by adjacent shingles. This is a potential problem. * We had a 4" pipe removed early in construction, however the roof was never sealed up, so we had a very large hole looking directly into the attic. * During construction, our GC installed a new vent stack, however did not flash it properly or up to code. Jordan Roof company addressed all of our problems, and gave us confidence that we have at least 5 more years with our tired old roof before we need to start thinking about replacing the roof with a brand new one. When we do, we'll almost certainly call Jordan Roof again to do the work.

On the first visit, everything was gone over in great detail as to what I wanted, plus other items that I didn't even see that needed to get done. The estimate was right in line with 2 other estimates that I had received. The Jordan Roofing contract agreement, which itemizes everything "to be done" is awesome. From roof tear off to completion was done in less than 72 hours. Wow, I was impressed. Considering the work that had to be done, including replacement of 27 sheets of plywood, several feet of fascia board replacement, and rafter tail repair work, I would expect this job to have gone at least 5 days. All vents painted to match new roof. Clean up was perfect. Roof looks great! This was one of the best experiences with a contractor in my life. I highly recommend Jordan Roofing. - James

As a retired roofing contractor I was very careful in choosing the right company to do some preventive maintenance work on several buildings I own in a small industrial complex in Santa Ana, CA. After much deliberation I chose Jordan Roofing Company of Orange. They weren't the lowest bid but their price was very competitive. I dealt directly with the owner, Bill Jordan, and was completely satisfied with the way the job was handled. There were a few hiccups, but everything was completed to my satisfaction. My call were promptly returned and Bill was a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to working with them in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend Jordan Roofing for any of your roofing needs.

Bill Jordan came out to perform the roof review for the estimate himself. He was thorough, explained all options, and was patient while I went through my several pages of questions about materials, warranty, insurance, and workmanship. I received two other estimates from top rated Angie's List contractors and was thrilled when Jordan Roof's estimate was the lowest since they were my first choice. Also, they had Liability Insurance in addition to Workers Comp. The other two did not, which really surprised me. Bill was also very patient and accommodating when I requested wording and description changes be made to the contract. Bill Jordan showed up the first day of work and stayed several hours to review the work with the crew. Neither Bill nor the crew had any issues with me being on the roof to participate in the discussion of the work to be done and answer my questions. The main crew consisted of Tim (flat roof specialist!), Angel and Bernadino. They did a great job and were very thorough. This review would be extremely long if I went into all the detail and care that they took with each step in replacing my roof. They cleaned-up at the end of each day, and provided plastic for inside the home when replacing the skylight to catch falling debris. The roof looks great. This being southern CA it has yet to rain so I can't comment on performance yet. But observing the 25-year old materials and workmanship that was removed, and replaced with better materials and workmanship, I expect this roof to last my lifetime. The one hiccup that occurred was the skylight replacement. They City of San Clemente required a building permit for replacing an existing skylight in-kind and would not let the roofing company pull it. I had to obtain the permit myself as owner-builder. Jordan Roof did all they could to resolve the issue expeditiously, and luckily there were no delays. Therefore, if replacing a skylight, be sure to check to see if a permit is required.

Estimate came in well under another contractor; very responsive from the office staff to the actual workers. The work was completed on time with no surprises. A great experience.

I called three roofing companies from Angie's List. I chose Jordan Roofing for their price and the professionalism when I received the estimate. The work was done in a timely manner, they cleaned up after the job and it looks great. I would definitely use them again.

Our house has a pitched roof that expands into a flat roof. The point at which the roof becomes flat has had a leakage problem for years. In addition, the entire roof was more than 20 years old and was showing signs of leakage elsewhere. We selected Jordan Roof Company after getting other bids primarily because their approach seemed more professional than their competition. Bill Jordan came to our house and inspected the roof, even inviting us to join him on the roof so that he could explain how they would do the work. A few days later, we received a printed estimate with all the details of the process and a payment schedule. Bill arrived at 7:30 on a Monday with a crew to begin the work. As the work progressed, we found the crews to be professional, polite, and careful to avoid getting debris in our garden and pool. At Bill's suggestion, we covered our living room furniture and were glad we did as it isn't possible to do this kind of work without some debris falling through the flat portions of a roof. The job was finished a day earlier than estimated. The crew did an excellent job cleaning up any debris that happened to fall in our yard. Bill came to inspect the work on the last day and asked for any complaints or comments in order to insure that we were satisfied with our new roof. During the work, our tv antenna was damaged. We discovered this after the work was completed and the crew had left. We called Bill who immediately sent on of the men back to the house to try to repair it. Since it couldn't be repaired, we replaced it with a new one and Bill immediately responded by offering to pay. Needless to say, we were pleased and impressed by his cooperation. We would recommend Jordan Roof Company with no reservations to anyone.

I contacted 4 roofing companies that I found on Angie's list. Bill Jordan was the first one to contact me, he was so professional and explained different options available regarding best way to cool the attic. Of the 4 contractors I contacted his proposal was so detailed including pictures of the roof and a breakdown of his commission. WOW..... Jordan roofing came in with the best price. The company is a number 1 for me! The whole roof was off in less than 4 hours and after clean up you would never know they were here. The office called me to let me know exactly what to expect and their crew was top notch. Very friendly and very knowledgeable, putting in long days in the hot sun. They also installed a solar fan for me that I had ordered on the internet. I love my roof (thanks Bill for helping me with the color), I've had neighbors stop me to ask who did the job. I'm a senior and a widow this was a major home repair and I'm so grateful to this company for helping to make the process less stressful.

It was quite apparent from the beginning that Jordarn's Roofing truly value Angie's List members. When I called and asked for someone to come out for a quote, Paul, the owner himself, made it a point to came out and gave a quote. All the dealing I had with this company was great. Paul was there on time for the quote, and walked me through the details of what needed to be done. Three guys came that following Saturday, on time, and worked all day. All were quite friendly. They all did a great job and cleaned up all the debris. After all the job was completed, the hole on my roof was gone and all the loose and broken tiles were nailed and replaced. I was very satisfied with this company. So Satisfied that I referred a friend over for his roof repairs. Thank you Jordan's Roofing.

They were excellent. The came out and diagnosed the problem very quickly. The gentleman that came out was very professional and gave a very detailed analysis of what he needed to do and about how much it would cost. They came out on fairly short notice and was able to fix the problem very quickly. He did a good job for us.

I have an architectural feature on the front of my house that is a small dormer with a sheet metal curved cap over it. I have had continual problems when it rains that the water runs off directly onto the stucco siding on one side. Once before I had unsuccessfully tried to have roofer fix this problem. After he completed his work, I could get him to come back out after it rained and the problem wasn't fixed. I finally decided this summer to take another try at getting this fixed. I used Angies List to select 3 roofing companies to come out and give me an estimate - first one came out and got up on the roof and immediately said there was no problem - even after I showed him pictures of the soaking wet stucco after it had rained. He said, they could add some flashing but wouldn't guarantee anything - I chased him off and didn't even get a quote from him. Second Roof Company that came out was Jordan Roofing. When I called up to make an appointment, I was immediately impressed - when asked how I heard about them I said Angies list and the girl immediately said that the owner will handle this directly - she said he wants to handle directly all the Angies List referrals. Bill Jordan, the owner, came out the first thing the next day right on time. We talked for a few minutes and I showed him the photos of my problems - he understood my concerns and quickly sketched up a small mini gutter (only about 6-8" long) that he thought would address my issue. As an engineer, I liked his concept and we agreed for him to go back to the office and provide me a formal proposal. Within 2 hours after he left me, Bill emailed me a proposal with the specifics and cost estimate of $390 to make and install these gutters. A third roofing company cameout that afternoon - but became quickly apparently they were not interested in doing this job. I signed the contact with Jordan roofing that day authorizing him to start fab work on the mini-gutters. I made it clear to Bill that since it was the middle of the summer and no chance of any significant rain, he could take his time to complete - I was in no hurry. About 2 weeks later, I got a call from Tim of Jordan Roofing stating that the gutters were done and wanted to coordinate a time to come out and install - we agree on the next morning at 8 AM. Tim was right on time and understood exactly what to do. I had gotten some spray paint to paint the gutters which he gladly did. It took Tim only about an hour to complete the installation - this included spray painting a portion of the existing sheet metal cap to match the gutters. When it was all done, the added gutters looked like it was part of the original design. Bill Jordan's concept and design was perfect for this unique situation. I was also very impressed that Bill got the size of the gutter exactly right - when he was out for the estimate, he didn't go up on the roof to get exact measurements but estimated them by eye - his eye is real good because they fit perfectly. Also, I mentioned that I had had a small leak at one of the vents in the roof - Tim put a neoprene sleeve over this vent at no charge. I am extremely pleased with the work Jordan Roofing did. My problem was very unique and it took some thought and ingenuity to come up with a cost effective solution. The other 2 roofing companies I had out were also highly rated by Angies List but it was obvious to me they were not interested in and maybe not capable of doing small out of the ordinary unique repair work. I would highly recommend Jordan Roofing - they were very professional, good to talk to, and did excellent work. Update on 10/31/2013 - After first rain of season, stucco siding in region in question was bone dry - Bill Jordan's design worked perfectly. Excellent job to repair unique situation!!

This is the best experience I have had with this issue. Mr. Jordan came out and quickly analyzed the problem. He explained to me what the issue was and how to fix it. He gave me a very good quote. I authorized the work and he started very quickly. I am totally satisfied with his work and I would not use anyone else to do my roof work. He is a real professional and I highly recommend his Company.

Woke up one night in our newly purchased house to a dripping noise -- ceiling started to sag in a small section because of the roof leak. This is a 60's era house with a flat roof. I called eight different companies to perform estimates, and got a range of service, from one who simply entered the front door, looked around the interior, and told me I needed a new roof to Jordan Roof Company recommending that given the circumstances (overall good condition, found the problem), a repair could be done -- not a long term fix, but it'll tide me over until I'm not so poor from the recent house purchase! Two other companies promised to email me quotes, but never did -- Bill got the quote out to me just a few hours later, I scheduled the work for a day later (impending rain), and the guy showed up not just on time, but slightly early for the appointment. It rained just a little that night, but no issues so far -- I've got the ceiling repair-work scheduled with a contractor that Mr. Jordan recommended, so we'll see how it holds up. Bottom line: Owner came out himself to perform the estimate (Angie's list benefit, I guess). Went up to the roof to inspect thoroughly. Diagnosed and throughly explained the issue. Recommended a fix that worked with my budget. Sent a quote and scheduled quickly. Showed up on-time as promised. Hopefully I'll be able to post an even more positive update after the next heavy rain!

This review is being written by the brother-in-law of the home owner. The following comments were gathewred from the home owner,Angela Schnepp. The initial contact with Jordan Roofing was good and the proposal for the reroofing work was acceptable. The work was done in a timely manner but the workmen on the job were not particularly cooperative and complained about doing the work. An example of this was when it was found that some of the fasteners that held the roofing materials in place had penetrated through the wood deck and were clearly visible from the room-side, the workman complained about having to do it when asked to do so by the owner! No more time and effort than this would have taken I would think the workman would have done what the owner requested. One workman whose name is Tony was particuylarly annoying. Some additional work on a gutter did not look to the owner like it was satisfactory and apparently "the fix" was not well explained to the owner. There was an additional charge of aapproximately $800.00 for building materials. I understand it is not unusual to have additionals charges on a reroofing project but these charges were not itemized so the owner had no way of knowing whether the charges were justified. I think the thing that bothered the owner and me the most was that when Steve Jordan came by to pick up his check the owner asked him to go up on the roof to verify that the work had been done in compliance with the contract, he refused, saying that his workmen knew what they were doing. While in fact the reroofing work may have been done very well and may keep the owner "in-the-dry" for a long, the business owner didn't do himself any favors in the way he dealt with this owner. I had noticed a leak in my roof after the heavy rains we had. I had guessed that it was the chimney flashing, and I had another comapny come out and look. I know that I will need to replace my roof in 6-18 months, so I was hoping to use this opportunity to find someone I can trust so that I can call them and quickly get the roof replaced when I am ready. The first company didn't seem that interested in just fixing the leak, and the minimum they gave me was quite high. I called Jordan Roofing and the owner came out the next day to take a look. He was extremely professional and what won me over was his honesty. He told me that my roof didn't need immediate replacement, and he quoted the fix at 1/4 of the other company. He sent someone out who quickly and professionally fixed the leak. All I can say is that I look forward to when I do replace my roof because I will be giving him a quick call because of the great service I received from Jordan Roofing. Do not hesitate in giving them a call and having them come out to bid on your project!

Bob provided our quote. He was professional and prompt. I thought their contract packet was very well put together. A competing quote was a couple hundred dollars cheaper and we hired another other company.

Bill was great. He came in to quote what we needed and didn't push any services were weren't ready to do. He was very informative and explained all about our roof. His team came out quickly and was able to replace the drip edge, replace shingles and put up the remaining fascia boards before noon! He was honest, straight forward and respectful. We will definitely be using Jordan Roofing for all of our future roofing needs!

Everything went smoothly with the work crew. We had excellent communication with the onsite supervisor, Tim. The job took a bit longer than expected but we didn't mind. It looks great and we're very happy with the outcome!

Other than a minor scheduling issue the project when better than expected. I would use Jordan Roofing again in a heart beat.
