Very well, he spent extra time sanding and staining the railing. Pricing was very competitve, and fair, only complaint was that he was a few days late due to overbooking himself with other projects. We would have him work for us again.

HandyDan didn't come back to fix one of the windows right away. They kept me waiting two weeks and I was very unhappy about this. I was upset because they didn't tell me in the beginning that they had another job going on. I wouldn't have used them if they had been upfront with me about their immediate work schedule.

Called a few times....called back and said he had been on vacation. I called again...didn't respond.

Dan never returned my call or email to set up an estimate.

I will definitely call Dan again when I need a handyman. Value was exceptional and Dan is very responsive and nice. Highly recommend Dan!

Had to call and complain about the work. Paid 1/2 up front. Paid the balance on the day I thought the work would be completed but the work was not completed and he did not respond to e-mail or phone calls. I had to finish the job myself. NOT HAPPY

Save your self the disappointment. I called three weeks in a row, each week leaving a message but never heard back. Check out P's Handyman. We had a great experience.

Dan is great on the phone, he knows his business. Dan was responsive and we were able to work out times for work to be continued over the course of a week. I have never met Dan. His three workmen all were nice and had their level of expertise their skills varied. I am used to professionals either having something on their shirt that identifies who they work for or who they are, or at least introduce themselves. None of that occurred with the first handyman to show up. All three were very nice and got their jobs done in quickly and professionally. The ceiling required texturing turned out ok compared to the original. Good news Bad news on the toilet flap- When it lands correctly it no longer leaks. About 50% of the time it does not land correctly and continues to run until you take the lid off and adjust it. Plus something is wrong somewhere in that you have to hold the handle down for a full 5 seconds for it to flush, it was not like that before the repair. I did not say anything to the handyman that repaired it since he took out the old one to buy the new one. And if it was having this many problems I probably need a plumber in case they no longer make materials that fit my aging toilet.

After having disposal installed the previous weekend and discovering a blockage to the street, Dan sent a retired plumber (Ron) to perform rooter service. $70 - worked like a charm. When Dan came by to inspect the job, I mentioned that i would like to have my driveway gate moved back approximately 12 ft. Dan gave an estimate on the spot and had the job started within an hour. Great service, great price and great work! Definitly use HandyDan again!

Left call in the morning outlining what I needed done. Received call back in early afternoon and had Nick arrive later same day. He was able to complete the job and also looked into what was needed to replace a ceiling fan. Good job and I will have them back again next week for another project.

I was amazed that I received a call with 15 minutes of sending an email for quote. The plumber arrived on time as arranged, gave estimate and returned the next day to complete the job. Although it took 2 hours due to some incorrect parts with the disposal - I am very pleased with service and price. Actually having Handy Dan come back for a couple more jobs in the near future!

great! I really appreciate how Dan took time to educate me. He explained everything that needed to be done, how much it would cost and what else he might find once he got the toilet off. He explained how toilets don't need to be sealed with silicon and he explained why.

I needed my outside stairs repaired and a garage door replace, but I kept putting if off. When the garbage disposal went I of course needed it fixed immediately. Dan came the next day and not only fixed the garbage disposal but arranged a plan for the other repairs also, and it was a plan that saved money. I even got touch keypads for my doorlocks. I'm already starting my new HANDYDAN list.

I was overwhelmed by the task of fixing all the things that needed to be done in this house, but Dan and his efficient, friendly, courteous and skilled crew made it possible. From our first survey of what I wanted done in the house I knew I had found the right person to do the job. He honored what I wanted done while explaining better ways to do the job and creative ideas for fixing the problems while honoring my tight budget. As things surfaced that we hadn't known about, which always happens with older houses, we discussed together the best way to fix it. His crew is responsible so I felt safe letting them work at the house without me being there every minute. This was big job so it took many weeks, but I always felt his crew was working efficiently and effectively. When the gate started scraping the cement last week, I called Dan, two of his crew came out and found it had been damaged by termites and water and in one day I had a brand new gate! I can honestly say I could never had done this renovation without Dan and his amazing crew! I've found my forever handyman!

I had a gazebo in my backyard that was falling down from dry rot and termite damage. My choice was to replace it with one of those vinyl white gazebos or to rebuild the one I had. Unfortunately, the only thing that could be salvaged was the center post. Since I wanted a wood, more natural look, for my backyard, I contacted HandyDan who I had used for a project before.. He gave me a fair price and proceeded to build (the actual work was done by his brothers - this is apparently a family operation). They tore down what was left of the old gazebo and built me a new one even upgrading the anchoring hardware so it would take a bulldozer to push it over now. It was a quality job from start to finish including a thorough cleanup afterwards. Don't be fooled by the handyman term - he does all manner of construction.

Prompt & quality service. Kudos to Dan and Nick. Multiple visits to allow primer, paint, etc to properly dry. Quality their focus - no rushing to finish. All completed work was excellent and the price fair given extensive service provided. They will be starting another bigger job in the near future.

I can't say enough good things about Dan and Ron. The responsiveness, professionalism, etc... was great; but the real key for our success was the work ethic and willingness to do the dirty job. Getting under the house where it's wet is not pleasant. Too many other plumbers would not even come out and look. Others wanted to cut out the flooring or do other heroic measures or expensive diagnostics. Ron wanted to discover the leak and fix it. They saved me hundreds or thousands of dollars. I've never been so happy to write a repair check before. Mark

This work was performed for my father to improve the safety of his porch and back step. The contractor came out promptly to perform an estimate and was able to start the work on time. The first day they widened the front porch, the second they modified the back step and added the coating on the front porch. After a few days to let the concrete harden they were back to add hand rails and clean up.

Great job for a very good price considering the time involved. All of Dan's employees are knowledgeable and friendly. They take care to do the job correctly and small problems are handled without an issue. They are professional, courteous and I would not hesitate to use this service again.

Great job. The cabinets look beautiful. All the knobs and handles are lined up perfectly. The job was completed in a timely manner. Nick is very friendly and courteous. I will use the service again.

I called Dan in the morning and he was available to come out that afternoon. Everything about the service was excellent, and I would use him again anytime.

I had to install a mailbox on my front lawn in order to resume mail delivery by USPS. I purchased a mailbox that required setting the pole in concrete and assembly of the mailbox. I contacted Dan and after some initial confusion about setting a date, we agreed on a late morning appointment during the week. On the appointed day, Dan called to ask if he could come earlier (hooray!). He arrived exactly on time with a helper. We agreed on where the best placement would be and the work began. He read all of the instructions that came with the box and pole and decorative pole cover. I watched as he used his level several times to make sure that the mailbox pole was straight. He and his assistant then went the extra mile to fill the pole with concrete for added strength. He sloped the concrete around the pole so that water would not pool at the base. The work took about an hour and a half to two hours to finish the job. His work was exact and thorough and his clean up complete.

HandyDan was great. He was very professional and fair. I felt very comfortable working with him. I did not use HandyDan, because I chose not to go forward with the projects.

I'm very happy with them and I have used them twice. His quality was very good and I would use him again.

The people were nice enough, but it took them forever to get him out to do their estimate and when he came, he did not have his coveralls to go under the house and look at something. He said that he had to come back and I could never get him to come back and finish the estimate and finally give it to me. I called them twice and asked for an approximate amount and the second time I called, he told me about a $75 fee to go under the house and I was not happy with that. He did finally call me back 2 weeks ago and I told him that I would like to get another estimate. They were not proactive. They were licensed. I will not use them because it was too much of a pain.
