Description of Work: I had great expectations after reading the positive reviews so I called and left a detailed message about the jobs I needed done, and I left my name and number twice... But they never called me back! I can understand if you're too busy to take on new jobs, but at least be professional and call the customer back to decline their request. To totally ignore a new customer is very unprofessional. I'm disappointed because I had such high hopes.

Description of Work: He wanted to charge me $390 for a child's bookcase and a child's mini-trampoline. He estimated that the more difficult item would take 2 and 1/2 hours for 4 hours of work at a rate $90/hr. They came an hour late.

Description of Work: My in sink garbage disposal wasn't working so I called Dan. He gave me an explanation as to why it may not be working and told me a couple of things to try myself. I did what he said and that fixed the problem. I called him and thanked him very much and will definately use him for future issues around my house as I feel very confidant that he will not be overcharging. I also understood the way he explained things which is helpful as I knew nothing about the workings of this disposal unit.

Now his voicemail answers but why bother leaving another message from someone who doesn't return calls?? I should have listened to the warnings.

Description of Work: We contacted him to do some upgrades in the bathroom and to replace part of the flooring. He came to my house, took some pictures, he did not take any notes and said he would get back to my with a quote... But I never heard from him again. When I called a week later to follow up with him, his voicemail was full and I could not leave a message. So I decided to hire someone else.

Description of Work: I left a message for Dan one week ago regarding a leaking shower head.

Description of Work: Dan had his two brothers help out and install 3 interior solid wood doors. Two of the doors were replacing the existing door while the last door replaced the entire jamb as well. Pricing was quoted over the phone to be $100/door for the two doors and 2-4 hours ($82/hr) for the brand new jamb w/ door. They had told me later that for a solid core door it was supposed to be $150/door, but honored their original quote since it balanced out for the final door costing more per hour.

Description of Work: We needed outside painting done on our home. We had, had it done by a professional painter 5 years before, but were unhappy with the result and the way that it held up.
