I read the reviews of this company on the Angie's List website and called. They were responsive in submitting a bid and were easy to schedule when I decided to use their company. They were as great as the reviews said, as well as being the most reasonable. I met with Ricky, the owner to choose the color of composite. His team worked fast and efficiently and did a great job of cleaning everything up. They advised me of the need for smoke and CO detectors in the residence and provided me the form to complete for the city inspector so I could have it ready without delay. Ricky said to be sure to call if there were any problems we noticed when the rain came although he didn't expect any. I feel certain that he will be good to his word should there be any problems, but I don't foresee any either. This is a good company.

I have to be honest that this is my first use of Angie's List. I was apprehensive at best and got 1 other estimate. There was another company that I called but they were out of business. When I called Apex Ricky came over and went up the roof to take measurements and gave me 2 brochures to look at if I chose their company for the shingles. He said his office would send me through email the quote. I talked to him about my enclosed patio and how I was tired of the leaks and how hot and cold it was. He gave me quotes for just the roof of the main house and if I wanted to do the patio also. I ended up choosing both. I chose Apex because they quoted using 30 lb felt and the other company was using 15 lbs. Also, Apex was offering to use new vents and such and the other company was going to use my old ones, just repaint. After seeing how many more vents were added, I am sure the other company would of charged me more for the extra vents, as Apex the price was the same. Once I made up my mind and the ladies in the office let me look at other roofs that they had done, Veronica and Nicole are great at answering questions, I just had to pick a date for the project to start once I signed the contract and picked the color and type of the shingles. I found out that I don't like the folded look of the profile ridge of the Markalay shingles so I chose Timberline which lay flat. The men were out there promptly at 7 waiting for the dumpster to arrive. They tore down the old shingles and put up the wood to hold the new shingles. They were done I think by 3. They took the dumpster away and the next morning the delivery of the new shingles arrived and were put on the roof. That morning the men came, but the inspector didn't arrive till 1:30. Some of the men left to work at another site I think, but 2 men stayed and waited for the inspector. Once he did his inspection, the men started laying down the felt and shingles and I think they called the rest of the crew. They ended up finishing the next day by around 11:30 or so. They picked up the staples with magnets each day. I liked that Ricky answered my questions as did the ladies in the office, because I had a lot of questions. If I had a concern they took care of it. I liked that Ricky had someone wait for the inspector. My neighbor is also getting her roof done by another company and her roofing company did not have someone wait for the inspector, so he left without checking her stripped off roof.

They did a great job. Very fast and punctual. They provided a quote the same day (with a copies of their bond and liability insurances). They were the lowest of the 3 quotes. I called with questions about the quote and within 1/2 hour I had an updated quote for the same amount with the issues clarified. When we were ready to proceed, Ricky came out to the house with shingle samples so we could compare styles and colors. The actual amount I paid was the quote amount. I defineately recommend them.

Very professional. Crew arrived on time. Got right to work. Job completed in just a few hours.

Hire at your own risk big promises and no follow through

Their crew arrived when promised and completed the job in the time schedule they outlined. Each day they cleaned up the debris generated that day and removed it from the premises. The work was superior and I give them an excellent rating. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my best friends.

Ricky was very professional. When he showed up for the estimate, he went up on the roof and gave it a thorough inspection. He and his crew reported on time, worked quickly, and did a very good job. I will use Ricky should I ever need roof work in the future.

They were honest and professional. They came back and finished the work in a short amount of time.

Excellent customer service from office and from Ricky; he called when he was on his way. After determining the work needed, he came back to perform the work on Monday while I was at work and left me an invoice on the porch. Very convenient. Good job!

Representative, who also seemed to be the owner (forman) came to my house, on time, as per appointment. He measured the roof, and quoted me a price which was consistent with what other roofers were charging in the area. On the Monday that work was supposed to commence, a possibility of thunder showers was predicted, so he called me to tell me that the work woud start the next day (Tuesday). Tuesday the work commenced, and continued until Thursday when the entire work was completed.

They started on time and finished on time and did a great job cleaning up as they went.

Prompt response to the request for estimate. Gave the impression from the start that it would be a straight-forward job, and it was!I solicited several bids from around town, and these guys were very competitively priced. The clincher for me was the friendly service and demeanor of both their primary field Rep, Ricky, and their office staff, Veronica, and the fact that they could start the job the very next week. (Their closest rival would not have been able to start for 3 months) The crew arrived promptly on the agreed morning, and had the entire old roof off, the new insulation installed, and the OSB layer down by about 3 in the afternoon! A very hard working bunch of guys! Obviously NOT their first time working together. I was appreciative of the fact that many members of the crew spoke english. I had some work done on my pool a few years ago and found it very frustrating that not a single member of the crew spoke english, so I couldn't ask questions, voice concerns or even offer them common courtesy while they were working in my yard. The next day was spent waiting for the building inspector to arrive and sign off on the job, and the shingles were delivered and staged on the roof. On the third and last day the crew again arrived just at the promised time, went straight to work and had the entire job done by lunch time! The new roof looks great, and I'm very happy with it. Everbody involved was very friendly and professional. Their attention to detail was first-rate. They put plastic over my pool to prevent debris from falling in it. They draped my work bench and washer and dryer in the garage to protect them as well. They swept the yard with a magnet to try to limit the number of nails left behind. They even put down plastic under their work trucks to prevent oil stains in my driveway. Nine Grand is no small amount of money to me, especially these days, but I feel as though I got excellent value for my money from Apex Valley Roofing.

As stated above. Apex did the repairs behind the chimney and so far so good. Cleaned and replaced some parts behind the chimney and installed a "cricket" to help keep water from accumulating behind the chimney, which was diagnosed as the problem. Ricky, the owner of Apex was very professional, as was the office staff whenever I needed to contact them. Ricky even went out of his way to help me figure out a problem with another area that he didn't have to do. This was very helpful. I would highly recommend Apex Roofing. They are very professional and prompt and strike me as very honest.

I liked that they had multiple options. They were prompt and punctual. They are very clean and the pricing was very competitive. I would use them again in the future.

They were very responsive. Even a competing roofing company acknowledged that Apex was outstanding company to use. There appears to be no leaks. The clean up after was great. Their paper work and proposal and invoicing was all handled very well. All aspects of their service were very professional. I would certainly recommend them. They fully explained what they were going to very clearly. They were very educational throughout the process and they were great to work with.

The worker arrived the day after receiving our call. He actually arrived early. He very quickly found the problem & repaired by filling the area where water collected. Since he was on his way between jobs, he didn't even charge. This is amazing service. We would certainly use the company again & would recommend them to anyone .

They did a wonderful job. He was very conscientious and made sure that the workers kept everything cleaned up properly and did excellent work.

I needed two rental house re-roofed in the middle of refinancing them. I sought bids from three companies and based on Angie's List comments, I went with Apex and not only were they the cheapest, but they did an excellent job and were very helpful in expediting these jobs. I would definitely use them again

It went very well. It took only two (2) hours for the whole job & the roofer even arrived a half hour early! The co. president came the following day & checked the work to make sure that it had gone properly.

I reviewed & received quotes from contractors here on A/L & a couple local roofers, checked with BBB & selected Apex Valley Roofing for the best price & favorable references from a couple other contractors familiar with his work. I met with the owner Ricky to review the quote, good selection of mfg. tiles colors & he was able to answer all my questions/concerns. I had friend, a retired roofer, that was able to help me with the quotes & details which was a blessing,considering all the variations in quotes & materials. Ricky & his crew was able to remove the old roof in a day & complete the project in about 5 days. The only issues was the city's home inspector fell through a roof slat, damaged the ceiling in one of my bedrooms & slight damage to a bay window. Ricky took care of all the repairs, paint, texture no questions or additional fees. When a different inspector came for the final, Ricky accommodated additional roof vents & A/C rooftop drainage that wasn't indicated with the 1st inspector but that was also included with no additional fees. All the workers cleaned up daily, removed all debris courteous & friendly. I would rate them an A-, just because there was excess debris left in the attic, but overall a very good job, great price & a favorable recommendation.

Comparing numerous roofers and estimates, we felt most comfortable with Ricky at Apex Valley Roofing. Not only was he knowledgeable, his prices were very, very reasonable and he went out of his way to help us choose both the roofing material and color. He also recommended and arranged to have our attic insulated. (In just a few months, we have already noticed a big savings on our electric bill!) His crew was on-time, respectful and got the job done very quickly. Even his office staff were helpful. Ricky was a pleasure to work with. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful new roof which we got just in time before all this crazy rain!!!

Ricky (roofing contractor) arrived exactly on time to give us an estimate and solution for installing a continuous ridge vent with existing solar attic fans. His estimate was very competitive and included installing 16 eve vents. He returned the next day to show us different roofing samples to make sure the color and quality were what we wanted. The crew arrived as scheduled and was very polite and efficient. Ricky worked with the crew on the site the entire time and was sure to answer any questions I had. The job was done quickly in one day (small dwelling) and the crew cleaned up carefully. I had received 2 other bids: not only was Ricky more competitive, but he understood what we wanted better. It was obvious the crew had a lot of experience working together. Our roof looks fabulous and I couldn't be more pleased with the service.
