For this re-roofing, one unresolved issue pertains to some cracks in one of the carport rafters. Even though a significant number of rafters were replaced due to dry rot, I don't fully understand how this one existing rafter was not replaced. In addition, final judgment of the job as a whole will depend on how well the new roof performs during the storm season. By being excessively flat, my fear is that the rain will create massive puddles on the roof that will seep into the house through the ceiling. On a positive note, the work was done expeditiously throughout a one-week period in late July. What made it difficult was the constant pounding of hammers, drills, and footsteps, creating the sensation of being in a bunker during heavy bombing. Even though massive sawdust leaked through the ceiling rafters (via cracks between the rafters and some knot holes), I understand that this was necessitated by the dry rot removal. I will commend Apex for being up to the challenge of replacing a roof consisting of asphalt and tar with one consisting of ply and dens deck. Whether it is resistant to water remains to be seen. For this reason, I would like to submit a follow-up when the storm season is well underway.

Professional and the work was done promptly.

They were very responsive. It was a top one on Angie's List, that's why I called them. The difference was the roofing materials between Apex and another company. It's apples and oranges as far as quality of roofing. It's not a comparative because as soon as I went with the upgrade it would add two or three thousand dollars. They were easy to use. They were out here and I never saw them. And I would probably say that was the difference is that I never got to talk to them. Personal interviews are important. They had my bid to me the next day. They came on Monday and I had my bid on Tuesday. I only dealt with the office staff. I would not hesitate to go back to them.

Went very well.....the crew was punctual and professional. Extremely thorough and efficient in their work. After major work was finished another member came by and inspected every aspect of work and cleaned up any details.

They could not get out to do the repair for almost a week, so I chose another contractor who was able to come out right away.

These guys did a great job. Were happy to come back out and answer questions I had about what was done. Made some additional repairs while they were onsite at no additional cost. I highly recommend Apex Roofing.

I was very pleased with the quality of the work done, and the price was fair ( I received a $200 discount for being an angie's list customer ). The crew of six guys showed up right on time, and ready to work. They did such a good job, that I recommended Apex roofing to my Dad, and a coworker. Apex removed a wood shingle roof from my dad's, and installed a new asphalt shingle roof, with attic insulation. My coworker had them do some roof repairs. He was very happy with the price and work done too.

The were here when they said they would be and provided me a written estimate via email that same day. A week later they where here to make the repairs. The work was guaranteed for one year. Unfortunately the roof still leaked when it rained. It is a flat roof and so I wasn't to surprised. I called and the returned a couple of days later the came, inspected the roof and did some additional repairs. When it rained, it leaked, I called, they came. This time they pulled up the flushing found a wet area and thought that was where the problem was. They took a picture to show me. The replaced the flushing and whatever they needed to do. Believe it or not the next time it rained the roof leaked in the same area. I called and they came. Keep in mind this is a flat roof that had been a patio and then made into an family room. They looked for the area that may be causing the leak. Alas they found a tiny hole that looked like a nail hole. Try took a picture to show me. They came the next day to do whatever it is they do and fixed the problem. The next time it rained no more leak. The point to this long tail is they stood behind their work and where tenacious in fixing the problem. If I ever need any work on my roof I will certainly call them and hope they take the job.....

.I believe it only took 3 days from start to finish, maybe 4. The workers were fast, efficient, I've noticed other roofs in the neighborhood since have taken much longer to be installed. We've had ours 3 years and no problems. Very satisfied. We even had 7 estimates and I found Apex on Angies list- it was our last estimate and best price. Same material etc. Owner, Ricky, was honest and nice to work with.

To start there was a mixup on color of roof. Wrong color was delivered and stacked on roof. They promptly removed wrong product and delivered the correct color. After roof was installed I noticed there was a rattling in the wall every time the cold water was run. Ricky (the owner) promptly came out to check on the noise. Just like when you take your car to the mechanic, the symptoms failed to manifest. Ricky said next time it happens to give him a call and he would come back out. Sure enough noise returned and he came back out. The cause of the noise (rattling cold water pipe) was found and fixed in less than 20 minutes.

There were a few issues after the job was complete but they were taken care of promptly. They also covered expense for a few window awning slates damaged during the job.. The workers were very polite and always on time... They also did a nice job of cleaning up...

We are very happy with the work done and will definitely use them when we get our new roof.

It was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor; from the owner, to the people in the office, to the crew members. He was very knowledgeable, polite, and understood my concerns and what I wanted. He gave me what I wanted at a very reasonable price. They were clean, neat, and had wonderful craftsmanship.

We were very satisifed with Apex and would use them again. As I said above, Ricky was able to come out almost immediately. He showed up on time and was able to get my tiles replaced the same day. his worker was professional and careful not to damage gutters or any other tiles. He also removed not only the debris from his job but debris the prior workers left on our roof unbeknownst to us. They are very professional and honest. I would definitely use them again.

Ricky is the kindest contractor I have ever worked with. He was thoughtful, professional, and very easy to work with. Reroofing a house is a large expenditure and Ricky really helped to take the sting out of it. Ricky was willing to work around the schedule of my electrician and was accommodating in every aspect of the process. Ricky is a true gentleman. His office staff was absolutely awesome, especially Nicole who handled every question and request flawlessly and with utmost congeniality. This truly is a wonderful Construction Company from top to bottom. It is obvious that Ricky's crew like working for him as they were courteous, professional and helpful. It looked like they truly enjoyed working together. I recommend Apex Valley Roofing highly and without reservation!

New Roof done very quickly and clean up was very good..

The roofers did a fairly good job. and the process only took three days. The fascia in my opinion was put up kind of sloppy so I did end up complaining about it. Apex came out and fixed what I didn't like about the work without any confrontation. I really appreciated that. I understand that big projects can have some hiccups, so I wasn't a big deal to me. I would use this company again in the future.
