Arrived on time, completed the job quickly and to my full satisfaction.

Contractor was supposed to arrive between 9-11am. Received phone call contractor was running late and would arrive around noon. Contractor misplace photos on the original fuse box. In order to have the box replaced, it was requested to take a picture and email it to Budget Electric. The contractor did excellent work on replacing the new fuse box. I had already paid 499.00 from Angie's list deal. The contractor provided an additional quote to replace the entire fuse box and another component outside the garage door. The additional amount total 900.00. When the contractor completed the job he phone his company to receive the amount due. The office manager stated 1100.00 was due. I was not home at the time of payment being provided to the contractor. A check was written for the over stated amount. I called the office manager and contractor on Dec. 7th in regards to the overpayment of 200.00. The office manager called me on Dec. 9th and indicated a check would be sent. Today is Jan. 4th, I have yet to receive the overpayment and have left multiple phone messages regarding the status of the overpayment and would be providing comments on Angie's list. The contractor indicated I should receive the invoice via email since there is a 4year warranty on their work. Sad to say no invoice and over charged.

I was surprised to read some of the comments. My experience with Michael went well. The only negative was that he was running a little late, but he was very apologetic. I was offered an option to change day. I will add the work was done on Christmas holiday week. I would use him again in the future.

This service was for a rental unit. I made that fact clear up front. I advised that I did not live at this rental address and would have to travel there so I needed assurance that service would be provided. No show. No phone reply.

I noticed that the company was not responding to Angie's nor my request for setting appointment to perform the work outlined in the "Big Deal". I then read other customer reviews & realized the company has a pattern of what appears to be their picking & choosing what they consider to be a priority call. Based on those details, I contacted Angie's List, explained the situation & requested a refund. Meanwhile, I hired another company with numerous excellent reviews (via Angie's List). Now I will wait and see if things pan out.

Mike was GREAT! Very nice guy, informative, honest and fair. He gave me an overall assessment of his recommendations then worked with me to figure out what I needed to do in the short and long-term. I feel much safer now that my kitchen outlets are updated.

Failed to show up for their scheduled appointment after purchasing their deal on Angieslist. No call, no show.

I felt the $200 price was high for changing out 2 cgi covers and correcting a misinstalled 3 pronge light switch. I wasn't happy that twice Budget missed the appointment time frame (to be fair, first time they called and said running late and Michael got to me fairly soon afterward). Second time, now for service, an emergency on their end caused me to not get service on day I set aside for scheduled service. Finally, I never got e-mail receipt I was promised. The work was done safely and Michael is an acceptable service provider.

My system required it to be grounded and bonded as well.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. He fixed my problem at a reasonable price. There were no additional charges. He was very personable, a friendly guy, and did his work well.

I purchased a Big Deal on 9/30/2013 for an electrical panel overhaul. The deal included two visits to my home, an initial visit to evaluate the panel and to determine the parts needed and a second visit to perform the work. Budget failed to keep the first two appointments to evaluate the panel (with no advance warning or explanation) and arrived late for the third appointment. This was irritating since I had to take time off from work to be at home for the appointments. At the initial evaluation, they told me it would take 2-3 days to order parts and schedule the work. It has been two weeks and they haven't responded to my e-mails. So, seven weeks after the purchase, no work has been done. If you are thinking of doing business with this provider, I recommend you look elsewhere. Avoid the frustration! I give them an F for customer service but, I am not in a position to evaluate the technical aspects of their work.

The quality of the work is not the problem. It is the scheduling of the work. They still have not finished the project.

They were really great. They were very nice and they are really good people. I am very happy with the experience. They were very accommodating and Sergio was very nice. I can't say enough about how great and professional they were.

d in.The electrical panel seems to work perfectly but the finish product leaves a lot to be desired. There is an opening above the electrical panel that was not taken care of. The work performed did not meet city code and will have to be done over.

Terrible. I needed these folks to help me with a potentially dangerous situation in my house electrical system. They really could not have been more unreliable and flakey. The missed appointments and unannounced appearance at my door were downright strange. I suspect a serious problem with the way their people are dispatched. Some of these experiiences leave you really wondering how people stay in business.

It went well. The fan was installed without incident and clean up went fine.

I would highly recommend Budget Electric. Communication was clear, the job was done in a timely manner, and they were very accommodating about the work that needed to be done. They arrived on time, worked efficiently and were very friendly, but had a professional demeanor. We needed more work done beyond the special deal that was offered; their price point was fair, and they didn't try to sell us more than we really needed to get our house up to code.

I was unable to use the big deal due to the additional and unnesessary costs involved with doing an upgrade. Our system is in great shape and running fine. The company and the technician were very professional and polite.

The person who arrived was very prompt, experienced and hard working. I would have him back in a heart beat. He did an excellent job.

Budget Electric failed to show up for my service. I received one E-mail from Budget asking what time they should show up. I never got a reply to a voice mail message.

Unsatisfactory. Gave contractor project details. He was to email an estimate the next day. We never received the estimate or further contact. 100 amp electrical sub-panel installation project was paid for online on July 27, 2013.

It didn't work out very well for me because he cannot do the work I needed performed. He told me that I need a new remote for my overhead fan but he didn't offer to go and get one for me. He was not able to get the sprinkler. I have purchased an indoor timer and I needed an outdoor timer so he was made to get that one installed. He made a second trip and he tried to install the timer but he wasn't able to get that one to work. They were here on time and they did come back but they still can't do the work.

The provider came and corrected a problem with my tankless water heater which I really appreciated. But what I *thought* I asked for was an estimate of the time it would take to repair the water heater vs how much time it would take to install a ceiling fan to give me the choice of how to use my coupon --$99 for $200 worth of work. It took 45 minutes to fix the water heater! It would have taken longer to install the ceiling fan which would have been more worth my money. That didn't make me very happy.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were great. They were on time. They were very helpful and did a great work. They were fast and affordable. They came out a few days after I purchased the deal.

They were very good and had a good price. They were responsive and professional.
