Budget Electric

Description of Work: Michael and his assistant Sergio came to replace our main breaker box. First, the power on half of our kitchen went out and we tried resetting our breaker but it still wasn't working. I called Budget Electric to see if they can do an estimate on how much it would be to fix it. It was nice because the estimate was free. The person I originally talked to you on the phone was really friendly and got to my house within an hour. He checked out the breakers and found out that our main breaker was out of date and if we didn't change it soon it can cause a fire. Luckily Michael saw that and we got it changed immediately. Also it was great because Michael was able to do it the next day. He and Sergio did a really great job replacing our main box in a timely manner. We also saved a lot of money because usually it would cost about $2000-$3000. he only charged us $1500. Overall I was very pleased with the work that was done and now our power works. Thanks Budget Electric!

Description of Work: I had them install an exhaust fan, switch several outlets from single to double, replace the electrical box, change an outlet to accommodate a dryer and install recessed lighting in the kitchen. I had a good experience, they were good workers, especially Sergio. They went right to work and got all the work done within a few days. We had a little trouble in the beginning with scheduling the work but that got worked out. I would use them again.

Description of Work: I had Mike look at cooling system electrical and up graded my electrical service from 90 to 100 watt. I was also looking for someone to do electrical for my new kitchen upgrade. I think I will go with him.

Description of Work: They did an inspection of our electrical system. Told us we needed an updated panel on the exterior that would run $3k. We were not ready for that, but had the price later confirmed by another source, so at least we know they were not going to gouge us. Nice people, I'd use them again.

Description of Work: Not only did Sergio install the outdoor socket perfectly (no stucco repair required), he managed to "activate" a backyard socket which had been dormant for 15 years (because it was wired wrong by the "then" electrician).

Description of Work: Installed lamps, porch light, grounding wire, photo cell light over garage has not worked since installed. At this time I have no light. I should be first case after paying in full and the guy says he will call when he's coming back. Was suppose to call yesterday. Never heard from him. Said if it was life or death would definitely have come. Guy said he'd clean up behind himself. Did remove big fixture pieces but left stuff for me to clean around the outlets that had been replaced. Guy has charming personality but I didn't give $1000 plus for personality. I want my photo cell lamp working. It's going on the third trip that he needs to come fix my photo cell. Is this what you get for a budget electric? I will contact the company today. This is very upsetting. Guy says, glad you are being so sweet about the situation. What he replaced as far as the outlets and bedroom light and hallway are working fine.

Description of Work: I paid for the service in Dec 2013 and never heard from them. I made at least two attempt to contact them. Lack of follow through on their part.

Description of Work: Sergio checked all the circuits and explained why I was having the problems I've been having. He made recommendations and offered to come back if I called him when one of my outlets again stopped working. He was knowledgeable and professional.
