He showed up on time, was very friendly and seemed honest. He did what he said he would do and charged me what he said he would charge me. I did check out the prices of the pump on the internet before the appointment and the price he offered to replace it seemed fair to me.

I called Jim and he told me he could come out in about three hours. Almost to the minute he arrived. I showed him what I thought the problem was and he offered two choices - a "quick fix" that would last a couple of years maybe or replace the filter and pump, but he said it would be expensive and quoted me a price. I opted for the replacement since all of my equipment was at least 20 years old. He said he would order parts and return to my home in a few days. We made an appointment time. He arrived on time, on the day he stated he would. He worked for about three hours because my equipment was not easily accessible. Once he finished, he said that he saw a little electrical work that needed to be done and if I didn't mind, he would order the parts and return in a couple of days. We agreed that he could access the yard without my being there. I returned home on the appointed day to find Jim finishing up the work. Jim is a very friendly person. I felt that he was being honest with me and that his prices were fair. He left the place cleaner than he found it, too. I was really impressed.

Jim came quickly and did the work on the same day. I thought the price was reasonable. The spa is heating up as we speak.

The motor on our spa had died. In addition, it was taking over an hour to heat. We didn't want to throw the Spa away and replace it, mostly out of environmental concerns. We found Turbo Spa Repair in the phone book and Jim came out to give us an estimate. He suggested that we get rid of the separate heater for the spa and hook it into our pool's filtration and heating system. This would eliminate the need for emptying and refilling the spa, something we were doing monthly with a hose and a bunch of towels, an onerous process. On the first try, we had two problems. First, the valve was not closing all the way and the spa would slowly overflow or drain, depending on where you set the valve. Second, the spa access door would not close. Jim came over three times on his own time and ordered and installed commercial quality valves to ensure that the problem was solved. He took care of everything and left the spa in great shape, much more convenient to use as well.
