Jim was honest, interesting, funny and always punctual. he came out and gave me an estimate of a $1000 to repair a leak in a manifold and replace 16 jets. Jim came out and spent over an hour cleaning the section of work to be able to order what he needs. he came back with the parts closest that match my old jacuzzi, and once he started work to install, he stopped and informed me of the quality of the spa and the issues. Jim was honest and didn't want to do anything that wouldn't be fully satisfactory, he informed me that even if we repaired it there was issues with the structure of the jacuzzi and it will continue to leak and possibly the leak would travel due to the air bubbles in the body. he recommended we stop and not install anything and instead use the funds to find/replace the jacuzzi. I very much appreciate the honest, its a breath of fresh air now a days. He even got me in touch with a friend that wants to get rid of a much newer jacuzzi which needs minor work (compared to the price of buying). I would hire Jim again in a heart beat, specially if I get the used jacuzzi that he mentioned or even if I buy new/used and ever need any work.

We have been having intermittent problems with our pool pumping system for about a year. I have spent hours priming the system to get the water circulating again. My pool guy couldn't figure out what was going on and said we might need a new pump. We had used Jim (Turbo) to install our heater a few years ago and he was great so we gave him a call. He came over between calls about twenty minutes later and within 5 minutes had figured out the problem. Our pool guy had started putting an extra chlorine tablet on the lip of the pool return and, when people splashed around a bit, it was becoming wedged in the flap that drops down. The tablet would eventually dissolve, which is the reason it was intermittent. While there he showed me how to prime the pump without buckets of water and gave me several other tips. Total charge? 0. Jim is a great guy that is honest, generous and deserves any business this entry might give him. Oh, yeah. Funny, too!

Great. We communicated quite a bit by text because of the differences in his schedule and mine. He came, he saw, he diagnosed, he ordered the necessary part and he came back & installed. Our spa had been unusable for quite some time and now it's great!

Great service and quick replacement of my spa pump. I initially called Jim and explained how my pump was not working. He offered to guide me through a troubleshooting of my spa over the phone, which he hoped would fix my problem - at no cost. Jim said something similar to ' wouldn't it be nice if you could fix it yourself and save a few hundred dollars'? Friends, that's customer service. Unfortunately, my pump could not be fixed over the phone - it was fried..... Jim came out the next day, confirmed my pump was dead and ordered me a new one. The pump came in two days and he installed it the next. My spa is working great now thanks to Jim. I called another spa place first before calling Jim. They told me it would take a week to come see me. Needless to say, I did not hire them. Jim is very responsive and is quite funny. I've never come across a guy who sends you a picture of himself before he shows up.. just so you know who he is when he comes knocking at your front door. That's awesome! I'd recommend Jim to anyone who needs spa repair.

Great work, fair price. Would definitely recommend to others. As far as professionalism goes, this guy is quite a character, but in a good way. He did a great job.

I was more than pleased with Jim/owner of turbo spa. He came out on a tues. diagnosed the problem for two j valves that allow my spa to work. This system is over 35 years old. On Friday night (dark) Jim came out and fixed the equipment. I asked him on tuesday if he could get it repaired by Sunday because I had people coming over for a party. Blew my mind (in a good way) that he came out so late. I was hanging over his shoulder the entire time and he had no problem with my and quot;WATCHINGand quot; the entire process. He was spot on and treated me with respect. He is my go to guy for as long as I live in my house. I would recommend him to anyone but especially to women. He does not talk down or try and pull a fast one. This man is the real deal and I appreciated his honestly and his ability to fix old equipment as opposed to ripping it out and putting new equipment in. I would not have been able to afford that.

He was very funny, punctual and knowledgeable. When we purchased the recommended model he quickly returned for installation and wiring. It was difficult to find someone w/dry sauna knowledge. He is it for sure!!!

Once the spa was refilled, I couldn't get it to work. I called him back. He tried to troubleshoot over the phone. When that didn't work, he came back to the house, made an adjustment and it worked! He didn't even charge me for that last visit. He's a bit quirky but I loved it. More pleasant than a stiff, serious repair guy. He knows his stuff. He texted me a picture of himself before he came for the first time. I knew who to expect. I hope I don't him again but if I do, I won't hesitate to call him for service. Definitely would recommend him to others.

Jim was very responsive, helpful and good to work with.

We were very happy with his outgoing personality and getting right to the job at hand. He worked quickly and told us if we had any problems not to hesitate to call. We will definitely call him again if ever needed.

Jim was a very nice. This was hectic week with my son's wedding reception in two days. The day Jim came I had kids being tutored, dogs barking and wedding decorations all over the house. He went out to the electric box and quickly found that vines had entered the box causing a possible short. He reset the electric box (I know I should have checked but, things were hectic) and was ready to go. When I asked what we owed him for his time he said and quot;No Chargeand quot;. So unexpected! I will definitely use him in the future and am so grateful for his quick response.

JIM KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. MY SPA WAORKS GREAT. KIDS STILL ENJOYING.

It's been five days and no response from Jim. I called Affordable Pools, who are completing my work.

Jim is a very personable, very experienced spa repairman. He can diagnose any problem within minutes, and always has a fair price and quick repair.

Love turbo spa, this man knows his stuff and tried to save me money because we had such extensive damage. He also repairs pool equipment and I wouldn't hesitate to call him for that as well.

Jim showed up on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it at a fair price. We have now used Turbo Spa Repair at least 3 times, and I believe that they deliver quality work at a fair price, and that you can count on him to give you the truth (no upsells). When a contractor is the ONLY one I will accept, and I will wait to be able to use them, I know I've found a great contractor. This is the case with Turbo Spa Repair. We waited over a week to be able to have him service our spa. Well worth it.

I called Jim Strother at Turbo Spa Repair on Monday to look at my Sundance Maxxus spa. He is very busy so it wasn’t until Friday when he could schedule me. The wait was worth it! When he came it was all business but with a jovial manner. He spotted the problem in less than 10 minutes. Called to confirm it with his associates, fixed it, and was done.

He came out and measured our spa and gave us choices of colors/materials. We placed our order and a few weeks later he called to schedule a delivery time. Very easy transaction.

The company never got in touch with me.

I came home one day and the spa was cool. the next day it was cold. Since I have had Jim Stroather over before I called him and even though he was on vacation and on the road he took my information. When he returned from vacation he came out and took a look at it and determined it was the pump. Since I travel and am not home during the week, i totally trust him to go in the backyard. the neighbors called and I told them it was okay and if they ever needed anything to do with a spa or probably pool, he is the guy. He is light-hearted - and a serious workers. I had trouble starting it up and he returned, at no charge and set everything up. Since I travel, he wasn't sure that I wanted it on. He is the only one. He has done previous work and installed a gas line to reduce the cost of the SPA maintenance. We put it on natural gas (NG). Now the BBQ is NG, SPA is NG, and the outdoore heater is NG.

Got a referral from Tom Davis. We called he gave us and estimate and he performed the work.

He showed up in his bahama hat for the sun, immensely cheerful, brought all sorts of supplies and knee pads [ie, experienced and well prepared and did not waste time]. Very down to earth- took off the panels he needed, spotted the first problem in 4 seconds and fixed it in ten, no charge; then checked the pumps [because i had no heat] He explained that the system sensed that the air wasn't flowing and shut off the heat to prevent a fire. He gave me the price on the pump and squared things away; told me the free way to clean the lime deposit and said he'd drain the spa for me after I did that. No payment til the pump comes in. I LOVED having him out because I'd had disastrous experiences with other spa contractors in past.

Arrived on time. Diagnosed problem quickly and fixed shortly thereafter.
