From start to finish doing business with Matt Vogt Piano and Organ Moving was a real pleasure, He was punctual and professional in every way. From the initial contact on the phone, to the actual delivery of my piano I was thoroughly impressed and happy. Matt, himself, was very efficient and personable. His assistant, whose name escapes me, was very proficient and personable. Matt and his assistant picked up my piano on the peninsula (Los Altos, CA.) and delivered it to my home in Orangevale, CA. They were perfect gentlemen at the pick up point (which was the home of my sister-in-law) who performed their work without disturbing the other furnishings within the home for which we were all very grateful. When they arrived at my home to deliver the piano Matt and hiis assistant were the consumate professionals.

I called Matt about a week in advance. He set up the day and time immediately, and quoted a price. He came out the day we had agreed to. He and his assistant moved the piano to another room, and then returned two days later to move the piano back. He was extremely professional, and I was not at all concerned about the piano being damaged in any way. Everything went very smoothly.

We had to basically pay for two moves. The price was what we had expected. He brought somebody else along and it was almost like a teacher/student but he was right there. It was like two experienced people and I could tell he knew what he was doing. He was very courteous and willing to talk about where to put the piano. He came on time and was very conscientious about the return trip because it was on a tight schedule. He got back to me quickly when I called.

Matt was a pleasure to deal with on the telephone and in person. He and Mike were very profession in the moving of the piano both from our house and to my daughter's house. He was on time for his appointment with us and very efficient in the move. Piano was set up in its new home safely.

I needed a 5Ft Baby Grand Piano moved to a new residence. Matt and his worker arrived in a timely fashion. They prepared the piano for transportation by removing the legs, etc. They wrapped the piano to protect it. Then placed it on a dolly. At the 1st residence the piano was on the 1st Flr and had to be maneuvered up a platformed foyer, around a large fishtank and then down a threshold step at the door and then into a temperature controlled truck. They went directly to the 2nd residence (after checking GPS location) which was 2 miles away. Upon arrival, they carefully removed the piano from the truck. The destination was on the 1st floor of the 2nd location. They had to maneuver around a corner and over the threshold at the second location. They carefully placed the piano in the location I wanted and unwrapped it and proceeded to replace the legs, etc while protecting the piano and the floors the whole time. They were very methodical and did a very good job. The piano looked great in it's new spot after they set it up.

We had a refurbished Yamaha upright that needed to be moved from Carmichael to Elk Grove. Mr. Vogt was accommodating in making an appointment that worked with our moving vagaries, working out details of egress and ingress (we were not able to be at our old address when he was scheduled to pick up, but we worked out the details in advance for him to gain entrance.) Mr. Vogt telephoned us while he was en route after he had picked up the piano, confirming his arrival time. He and his assistant were very proficient in bringing in the piano and setting it up. It was delivered in a cleaner condition than it had been before the move. Mr. Vogt is an exceptionally cordial and a competent individual to work with. (As a bonus, he also brought our piano bench, which we had inadvertently left in the old residence.)

I got the name of the company from referrals on Angie's List and they lived up to their previous good reports. I bought an old upright piano from an ad in the Sac Bee and needed it moved from the seller's home to mine. I called several piano moving companies and Matt gave me a competitive price, plus he had the good referrals on Angie's List. He picked the piano up at the seller's home in the morning. When he arrived at my home, Matt was on the truck with his two helpers. They all introduced themselves, which was nice. Seemed like they'd worked together for awhile - very professional. They moved my old - broken - piano into the garage first, then moved the new one inside. It's very large and very heavy but they made it look easy. Even made sure it was centered where I wanted it before they left! I considered renting a UHaul and a piano dolly and trying to corral some of my daughters' friends to help move the piano but just didn't want to take a chance on damaging the piano or the seller's or my wood floors. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a piano moved.

The move went very smoothly, very professional, and did exactly what they said and when they said they would do it. They were prompt and courteous.

From our first contact, Mr. Vogt inspired confidence with his calm, courteous and respectful manner. He tactfully contacted the seller for me and arranged a mutually agreeable time for the delivery of my piano. He thoughtfully phoned ahead to let me know when he would be here and was here when he was expected pulling a professional looking van and parking it smoothly with care. All items were carefully wrapped, unwrapped and handled. My satisfaction seemed upper most in his mind. I recommend him highly. He did a number of extra chores for me.

Matt did a great job of moving the piano, he showed up when he said he would and got the job done in about 20 min. I would highly recommend Matt Vogt piano moving.

Each time I called to speak to Matt he would call back promptly. I scheduled this for 3 weeks out to coincide with the move from the house in Modesto. Everything was set up in advance. I requested Matt call when he was leaving Sacramento for Modesto so we would have an idea of how long he would be. He called in advance to say he was running late and then called again before he left Sacramento. He was very efficient and careful when taking the piano apart and out of the house in Modesto. The legs were removed and expertly wrapped for transport along with the main portion of the piano. Matt is very precise and detailed when moving all pieces to the point of communicating every move (i.e. shift left, lift now, etc.) to his partner. When moving in to my home in Carmichael they took the time to cover my new wood floors and ensure nothing was dented or scratched in the moving process. They even did a little repair on the legs to make sure they were properly attached.

Mr. Vogt was pleasant, punctual, and efficient in making arrangements and in the move itself. I felt his price was reasonable, given the nature of the job and the quality of his work.

Matt and his employee were prompt, courteous and efficient. We were moving our piano into a room that had just been re-floored, and we were cautious about its possible scratching. Matt quickly reassured me that he would treat the floor, and the piano with care. And he did. His service is quick and painless.
